Extended Stay America - Cleveland - Great Northern Mall - North Olmsted

I didn't spend much time at my room because I was very busy over the weekend. However, my room was well-kept and very clean. I extended my stay from one day to three day. When I am in the North Olmsted area again, I will definitely stay here again.

The service was the BEST! Assistance was offered and given to help unload my vehicle when I arrived and reload when I departed. The Handicap Assessibility Room was very clean and arranged to my satisfaction. I will stay here again in the future.

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. It was close to shopping and dinning. Room was perfect for our one year old to have space to play in the room.

We arrived at 4pm (check in is at 3), but had to wait 20 mins before we could go up to our room since one of their housekeepers didn't show up for their shift, which put them behind schedule. The staff was very kind an apologetic. Once we did made it up to the room, it was very clean and tidy. No frills, no extras, just a clean/relatively comfortable […] room. Mattress was a bit unforgiving, but I slept well enough. We are traveling back to the area later this summer and plan on staying there again. Read more

The only complaint I had was we booked a nonsmoking room and when we got there they said they did not have one available only a smoking room. They did upgrade our room size but I will NEVER stay in a smoking room again. The smell was so bad I went out and bought inscents to mask the smell. Otherwise it was a very nice, economical stay.

It was easy to get to once I got there. After the first trip in and getting the room, since it was hailing out, I had my kids just wait in the door. When I came back in with a load, the fire alarm was going off. When the clerk called the fire dept. after about 3 min, they were not even on there way. There was no shampoo even when I asked at the desk. My heater turned on every ten minutes waking me up most of the night. You would think if they added nearly ten dollars tax they could have at least given me a small shampoo.

I read reviews of this hotel prior to booking, so I had expected the hotel to be dated, which it is. Nice folks, but...bed/mattress was old/springy. Noisy heater cycled on every 2 to 4 minutes. Finally decided we could sleep better cold than enduring the noise.

For the price, the room was good. My biggest complaint was the highly uncomfortable mattress, pillows and easy chair. Sag city! I loved the kitchen. It's easier to buy food and cook than to spend cash eating out. Everything was clean except there was a long hair in the bathtub. That's a pet peeve of mine. I don't like hair in the bathtub.

We got this hotel because we were trying to save on money. We would have tried to get closer to Westlake, but the hotels were more expensive there. The staff was nice, but really this hotel was just the basics. It was a basic kitchen (2 plates, bowls, forks, spoons, knife, and two cooking pans, one pot and one saute pan). The room was clean enough, […] although the fleece sheet on the bed had a bunch of holes in it. The picture online was misleading, as it was a not a large suite, but a rather small one, however, it worked for our needs. A negative was that there was no business center, which I didn't notice, so when we needed to print things out for our Realtor, we were lucky she let us use her office.
