Dirty carpet. Have to ask for shampoo. Hard to find as no signs. Come on. These folks should be able to be better.

This hotel appears to have people without homes staying there. Place had a bad oder as all people living there cook and it just did not smell good. Trash over-flowing out of garbage cans. No ice machine could never find a soda machine ? The hotel was just in poor shape --- would not stay there again. Not real clean..............

This hotel was clean, but could use some freshening. The breakfast was sparse at best, nothing hot except coffee, no bagels or bread, just packaged muffins. Overall a good location near the University and easy access.

The room was big with seating and a large kitchen. The hotel seemed to cater to the hospitals in the area which could be odd to someone. I wasn't around enough for it to bother me. Great front desk staff and the room was clean and comfortable.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms have a slightly older style but are very functional for extended stays. The refridgerator and stove were also very useful. The room I stayed in was very dry and the sheets and bedding was extremelly staticy. It seemed that my room was previously designated as a smoking room based on the smell of an old ash  […] tray. Checking in, the hotel did not have the room I reserved available. They had to put me in a room with one queen size bed and sofa sleeper. Which wouldn't have been an issue, but I had four people (two kids) in this room. The room itself was unacceptable. FIrst as soon as we steeped off the elevator the whole third floor smelled like cigerette smoke (supposed […] to be non-smoking hotel). Second, the room condition was not very good, molding along the floor was missing in multiple spots, the dishes/silverware/cups were dirty (obviously not washed). Closet doors were missing. I was moved into the room I was supposed to have for the second night of our stay. Which was in alot better condition and more modern. Although the dishes, etc were still dirty. All in all, I would not stay in this hotel again, ever. And from what I gathered at the front desk the reason I didn't get the room I reserved was due to overbooking by either the hotel itself or from third party reservations. Read more

Worst hotel bed I've ever slept on. Very out of date for a hotel in this price range. Air pconditioner couldn't cool off the room even at night. After booking it turns out .the lac.e doesn't have breakfast every day

What can we say? We just didn't feel welcome; felt like they couldn't wait for us to leave. Most of the staff were abrupt and dismissive. Room smelled weird, clock on kitchen wall didn't work, and there were only 2 bath towels and one bar of soap in the unit. Odd.

The location relative to the venues in Ann Arbor is good. The carpets were not vacuumed well. The pillows were less than adequate. The amenities were otherwise well provided.

This is a "tired"building. They do not gaurantee room type, so if you need two beds, you may end up with a sleeper sofa that is old. The desk clerk at check in lied about possible room availabilty the next day. This is truely a no-frills place starting with no place to sit if you want to get out of your room. The only thing good about it is its location, […] but there are many other hotels in the area to choose from. My daughter described it as "skankey". I have stayed at other Extended Stay Hotels like Auburn Hills, MI with a much better experience. Read more

If you are looking for a cheap hotel near the drop-off/pick-up location for the Michigan Flyer shuttle, stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites and NOT the Extended Stay. Needed a one night stay in Ann Arbor and booked this place online, the room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, also the staff was friendly and helpful, only drawback for me was no ice machine, all in all I thought it was a very nice stay for the money.

This place is a true dump. Uncomfortable beds, dirty carpet and a noisy wall heater. The building is hidden behind the Marroitt Courtyard with no road signage. It took me 30 minutes to find the place. Instead of two beds, I was given a room with one bed and a pullout couch. The front desk girl refused to have the couch converted to a bed and made up […] with sheets. She said they are not staffed to make sofa beds and the manager has a policy that the guest should make their own sofa beds. When I told her that was crappy customer service, she walked into the back room and told someone that she was tired of all the rude customers. When I told her that I did not appreciate her attitude, she said too bad and take it up with the manager. This place sets a new standard for a poorly maintained dump with awful customer service. Everything was as expected for us with this stay. It is not a high end hotel, but it is a great value for the price. The room was clean, orderly, quiet and comfortable. There were only minor signs of wear-and-tear in the room and the facility in general. The hotel service went above and beyond in that we checked in slightly early and were granted a […] late check out (of about an hour or two beyond the normal). The only issue we had was that the room we were originally given was not yet cleaned. However, because we checked in slightly early, I would not complain and the front desk immediately solved the problem by putting us in a new room with apologies. Read more
