I chose this hotel because I was visiting a friend and just needed a place to stay for a couple nights. I didn't need anything fancy or expensive so I chose this hotel based on price. I came in with low expectations but it was much better than I ever would have believed for the price! It was clean and spacious with a full kitchen, sitting area, table, large closet and bedroom area. The only downside was that the bed was very uncomfortable, but most hotel beds are bad regardless of price.

Great hotel, great price and if I were only staying one night, I would stay again, However bring air freshners with you. The hotel room is very musty and moldy smelling.

The bed was not the most comfy, but was nice to have own kitchen! Overall cleanliness was good, but room smelled like chicken or Chinese food.

At almost any price, this would have been disappointing. At the high price it was, it fell short on all counts. The bed was remarkably noisy, uncomfortable, and I did not sleep well (and I can sleep almost anywhere). The showerhead was broken, there was no shampoo in the room and had to be requested, and the lighting was industrial in quality. The curtains were too short and let the sunlight in, you can hear the highway even with the window closed, and the kitchen was not properly stocked with dishes. The "fitness center" had 3 unkept machines that were noisy, dirty, and stiff. And the "pool" they claim to have is outdoors, not indoors, so don't expect to use it if it isn't the 3 months of the year when that makes sense in Iowa. I know I sound like a jerk, but this place was the pits... and I have stayed in some dives. I recommend stopping at a motel off the highway for half of the price for (often) better quality.
