My wife and I checked in late from driving all night. We got in around 11:30 in which the receptionist seemed nice enough and was helpful in telling us where the room was. The room was "ok" a little bit dirty as there were stains on the carpet & curtain. The room stunk of fresh paint and that would not have bothered me, but it was a really strong odor […] of it. Sometime during the night my wife and I were awakened to our door opening and slamming against the slide lock. They had given our room key to another person at the Hotel and they were trying to come in!!! My wife and I got the worst night's sleep after that and every noise we heard we woke up. When I talked with the Receptionist, I got an excuse about the key was already given out before we got there. It was clearly an excuse and we went on our way with just a "Oh I don't know how that could have happened and sorry for the inconvenience". The hotel was of good quality considering its low price. The room was clean. The location wasn't exciting, but there were restaraunts in the near vicinity. Late on Friday night, there was a group of men outside our room that were very loud and obnoxious. Not terrible but not great.. I was in the room and housekeeping just walked in even though I was yelling for them to hold on a minute. I thought that was rude of them to keep coming into the room after realizing I was in there.

I was staying here for my PCs move and it was OK. All they had at the time was a smoking room. I liked it when I come back to my room and the bed was made and the bathroom was clean. The check in went smoothly ( I guess) and if you plan on going to any airport after your stay expect to pay (minimum) $50. They said some people paid upwards of $100.

The room was fairly clean. The pillows and mattress were uncomfortable. There was no sink in the bathroom. The front door had a bad seal or was misaligned, I could see a 1/4 inch of daylight at the top of it.

The reviews I read before I booked this hotel all sounds good considering for the price you're paying. I also checked some photos and it looked like just any other 2 star hotels so we booked this hotel for a night. Quiet despite being right off Route 287, stained ceiling of my room, guessing from a previous water leak. Quick check in/out, received a great discount on Domino's pizza delivery. Loud air conditioner, separate quiet heater. I would go back.

I was checking in for 15 minutes. Receptionist did not know where to put paper in his printer. I got a non-smoking room where I could smell smoke. I asked for a late check out at 1pm, but at 9.30am cleaning guys started knocking on my door to check if I'm there. That was disturbing. Cleaning people were very rude. Overall, I would give it a C.

The hotel was clean. The staff was very attentive and helpful for the most part. My hot water wasn't working so I called in and told the staff I would have to be leaving and would not have time to have the maintenance person come out to troubleshoot/fix the issue before I had to check out. Not a good experience! Free wi-fi as they advertising doesn't work at all, I had to go to close DD to connect and do a work stuff . Toilets didn't flush. And some customers didn't have a hot water some days. Never again for me! Such a shame- Edison is beautiful city close to NY and this hotel is not doing a good name for visitors.

Excellent. Room confortable and very clean. Hotel staff, however, should better know what the train connections are to NY. Indeed I was told the there is connection from Metuchen station ( 2 minutes from the hotel) to NY but that my return might be problematic as the last train leaving Penn station to Metuchen is at 10.00 p.m. Therefore I went to NY […] by car and spend about 2 hours crossing the Lincoln tunnel !. When I went back home i Checked the web and found that the last train leaves Penn station to Meruchen at about 1:30 a.m. Such a schedule would have been perfect for me but I couldn't take advantage ot it because the front desk personel was unaware of it. In conclusion, it seems to me that it should be too difficult to have a train schedule available at the front desk if need be in stead of a copy of directions to the three train stations that are close by. It was ok. It's very basic but it's a decent place to sleep and shower. Relatively cheap. Nice area but tends to always be crowded and noisy. Towels are lousy, so is the soap and shampoo. The door's deadbolt didn't work. The tv is old.

This hotel was clean and quiet and the staff helpful. But it was the first time I had to request more soap for my room. I guess you get what you pay for. And I wish the wifi had worked (not their fault; the internet services were disrupted due to the hurricane).
