This place is great if you are on a tight budget and your stay has been extended longer than expected. It is a definite budget saver and the rooms are clean and updated. It is no frills and you will not find a coffee pot, bath lotions or a counter height refrigerator; but it has all you need and a decent mattress. Parking was a bit difficult finding […] a place next to the outdoor access room during a snow fall. The location is okay with nearby restaurants in Southgate on Eureka and Home Depot, Bob's Big Bob, Gibralter Trade Center next door. I always stay here when I go to the Red Wings hockey games. It's in a safe area and the price is reasonable. It's definitely suitable for a place to sleep and shower, it's an older property but seems to be fairly well maintained. Plenty of restaurants close by and easily accessible to the highway.

Room was nice.... BUT..... Right next to a Home Depot. A lot of trucks idling during the night. Outside noise was very pronounced inside. You could easily hear people talking and doors slamming. Would not stay again! Could not get a decent sleep!

My non-smoking room was overpowered by the floral carpet scent the motel uses to cover up smoking odors. I wish I had brought an air purifier that I could have run all day to clear it up. The AC/fan is right next to the bed, and too loud to let you sleep. It took me about 3 hours to get to sleep. Hotel is next to a Home Depot so it is quiet. As Red Roof Inn's go, in my opinion, this one of the best. It is conveniently located near I-75, and away from traffic noise. The staff is nice and the rooms are clean and renovated. No frills, but a good place for the price!

The place was emaculent and the customer service was over and beyond. I did not have any problems there and I plan on staying there again. I will spread the word about my stay there at the Red Roof Inn.

Wasn't expecting much from Red Roof Inn, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and a breakfast place is right next door. The only complaint is the air conditioner which isn't on a thermostat. It took several adjustments to get the temp right. Overall, I'd stay there again.

Everything went smoothly. After a 23 hour flight from Australia, I just wanted to lie down and sleep. The front desk staff was polite and helpful. The room was cosy and comfortably appointed. The location was quiet and convenient. I was very happy with this hotel and I'd recommend it to others.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Did not expect to have refrigerator/microwave and safe in the room - but definetly a nice bonus - we put them to good use while there. Had a little trouble accessing the free wi-fi but the people at the front desk were very helpful and resolved the issue quickly. Easy access to main roads - with the exception of the […] goofy u-turnaround streets. I like the outside room access versus the long internal hallways of other motels. Bargan rate with a very nice room - beats the heck out of a super 6 and most 8 motels hands down. We definetly would stay again. Read more

The fridge didn't work, the microwave made a horrible annoying noise so we had to leave the door open. The trucks outside kept their engines going all night, therefore we couldn't get much sleep. Not a pleasant experience at all.

This hotel was extremely well located on Eureka Road, right off the I-75 and close to all shopping. BUT it definitely needs extensive renovations and their beds were the MOST uncomfortable I've ever slept on in a hotel and I've stayed at quite a few so overall very disappointed!

Fast cheak in and cheak out, easy to find from the interstate and close to shopping. Clean room, no fridge or microwave. A very basic motel, good for a short stay. Good coffee in the lobby.
