Rooms was not ready at 3pm check-in time and was told to come back in 2 hours. Was given a lower price room after my objection. The grounds around the hotel were dirty with empty liqour bottles and trash. Loud neighbors brought little sleep - ended up leaving in the early AM to flee noise. Great price but I got what I paid for. Lesson learned.

The reservation was correct. The desk clerk was very nice and thorough. The room was clean with new or newer carpet. It had a mini fridge and microwave which I did not expect. The air conditioner worked well. All in all for the price range it was a good value.

There is was a refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee maker in the room, but not enough electrical outlets for all three. We had to unplug the coffemaker to use the microwave oven. No coffee in the rooms... Yet there was a coffee maker. The WI-FI did not not work. The overall condition of the buildings looked ragged. Cleanliness of the grounds was poor (ex; puke on the sidwalks)

I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay that had free internet access, was clean, had a comfortable bed, friendly staff and was close to a variety of restaurants and that is exactly what I had. The furnishings were in good to very good condition.

i would stay again..The check in attendant..michelle, helped me with some changes..which was real help ful..the room was cleaner than i have ever had anywhere..the surround neighbor hood was questionable, but it all light very well..no dark spots..i met some of staff. they were pleasant and helpful AAAA! good stay!!

This Hotel is centrally located close to anything any one could want. Great Value for the Price......Only problem was they had lots of snow. The walks were not shoveled very well for any one who has problems with walking. But, You know Snow is a PAIN!!!

We were traveling with a pet, and the Benton Harbor Red Roof welcomed us. The location was easy to find and within walking distance of several reasonable restaurants. The room was well-used but clean and cool, and it had a little fridge/freezer and working wifi. The shower was a little leaky but totally usable. The staff was excellent! For a budget hotel, the Red Roof was clean and very convenient to the Interstate, which allowed easy access to various lakefront attractions. It is not in very picturesque surroundings, but is convenient to restaurants and shops.

I booked this hotel based on reviews. The location is excellent and the facility and room was clean. There is only one vending/ice machine area which is by the main lobby, a slight inconvenience. The hotel was located very near the mall, the highways, and the surrounding twin cities area. The hotel accommodations were excellent, the atmosphere was nice and homey, dining facilities were abundant and within walking distance.

The shower in our room was really hard to turn on- and once we got it running it was impossible to change the temperature. The front desk clerk was extremely nice about it, but couldn't find us another room and had no maintenance people available to try to fix the problem. Otherwise, the room was pretty much what you'd expect from cheap hotels!
