I was there for a getaway with my boyfriend. The rooms were very small but decent for sleeping. The room had hair on the floor which was not ours and the safe didn't work.it's just too sleep it's fine.

When we arrived, we noted the advertising emphasis and signage heralding 100% Non-Smoking and All New Rooms. When we walked into our room, the smell of smoke permeating everything in the room gave all of an instant headache. We called the office for resolution and they showed up with a can of air freshener which be like extinguishing a forest fire with […] a spray bottle. I checked into the hotel, room looked nice. Returned from dinner, to find the sink drain was not operable and the sink filled with water. I threw a tissue into the toilet, after 3 attempts to flush I went to the front desk. No luck with a plunger and they night desk guy went to leave. I said I was not going to stay in a room with a sink full of water […] and a toilet not working. I give him credit for trying, these are basic things that should work in a room! Not the first stay, won't be the last! I come to the dog show held at the fairgrounds every year. Love staying at this facility as it's convenient, clean, priced reasonably and well maintained. There are restaurants close, gas stations and shopping.

My girlfriend and I came here for the Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ festival and were not going to drive back to DC after drinking copuious amounts of alcohol. This hotel was the closest to the fairgrounds. People were drinking and doing drugs outside our hotel room door until 3AM being loud. Other hotel guests complained and they were threatened. Hotel front desk wouldn't pick up the phone and we were held hostage in our hotel room until morning. Hotel does nothing in regards to hotel security of grounds or guests.

fine for just one night. would not use this hotel for a longer stay. There is no mini fridge, so can't keep anything cold. Had three people in one room, but only two sets of towels and one wash cloth.

I would not stay again nor recommend this hotel to anyone. Manager was very unkept & not helpful. The door was missing the weather stripping at the bottom so there was a huge gap under the door, we called to complain and they gave us towels to place under the door as they were booked for the weekend. We stayed 4 days/3 nights and never received housekeeping […] even though it was requested. They only dumped the garbage the third day and left dirt in the sink & no clean towels. We requested a iron and was told they were all out and that someone would bring one up the next morning it never came. Overall very displeased with my stay. Read more

I love going to the Red Roof Inn because it is so well maintained and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The room always looks nicely made up. I know that this was a two star hotel. But I have stayed in Motel 6's that were better than this. The main vending machines didn't work I had to go to the third floor to find a soda. Only comp given was soap and shampoo. Is that normal? No lotion or anything. Unless I'm stranded somewhere, I'll probably never stay at another Red Roof Inn. In the first room that Heat/AC unit didn't work. In the second room, the bath tub barely drained.
