Very nicely renovated and fresh room. Bed was a little hard for me but good and like new. The vinyl floors were a bit weird but at least you don't have to worry aout what's in the carpet and they were very clear. The room had recently been redone -- wall to wall carpets replaced by wood flooring, new bedspread -- which made it more attractive. The bed was very comfortable. Negatives were holes in some of the washcloths and in (oddly) a plastic glass.

We stay there about once every 6 weeks. It is basically fine, but the non-smoking room we asked for smelled of smoke and there were a dozen cigarette burn holes in the bedspread.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The person at the front desk at check in and check out were very nice and would answer any questions that I may have. The check in/out personnel are good. The room, on both occasions we stayed there smelled stuffy and of smoke or dog. Last time we asked for a change of rooms and the second room was fine. Are main attraction to Red Roof is the low price.

The room was completely ADA accessible as promised. However, there was a very musty smell when we entered. I called the front desk and had them bring us some air freshener and later we went to the Dollar Tree and bought our own. Purchased some Lysol wipes at the Dollar Store too and spruced up the bathroom. It needed it! Reasonably priced and front desk staff was very helpful. However, there was no one in the office to give us a final receipt when we left, so we didn't get one. There was a small refrigerator/freezer which came in handy. Great location near I95. Room was OK for the price. Room had a stale odor to it that I tried to get rid of by leaving the door open for awhile and running the air conditioner full blast. I eventually got accustomed to odor. Being that there were several other hotels nearby, I wished had paid a few extra bucks to hopefully have a better experience.

Ok, Red Roof - you need to hire enough staff to maintain your hotel. When I arrive at 6pm and find a note on the office door stating that the person on duty is back cleaning a room, I get a little nervous. When it turns out you only had one maid on duty and she could not finish even all of the RESERVED rooms, so the night manager is back cleaning rooms, […] that's pretty sad. And when it turns out your room is one of the ones not yet cleaned, but she's trying her darndest.... well, many points to the dear Night Manager, for being straight with us and doing a nice job cleaning our room. And it gave us time to go to dinner. But, REALLY??? What more is there to say? Should I mention the coffee packets that were wet on the INSIDE and nasty smelling? Or again, the Wonderful Night Manager who went and got us fresh ones so very nicely? So, excellent Night Manager. Red Roof, she deserves all the praise here. Maybe you should look into having TWO maids when you are full on a Friday night, so your Saturday rentals can check in on time. Read more

The room was clean, no odd smells (we had a king bed).Complimentary coffee (one shot machine) in the room along with a mini fridge. No problems except the toilet would run, but they wouldn't know it was a problem unless a guest informed them (which we did) or the maid happen to use it. Asked for a smoking room, and expected it to have a smoking odor, what I did not expect is to be blasted in the face with the odor of straight up DOG URINE when we opened the door for the first time. There was a cleaning cart sitting two doors down, but could not find the maid, so we grabbed the citrus spray off the cart to spray, as we were spraying, […] with our door wide open, the maid walks in and says" you took my spray, i need to have that now" and as she grabbed it out of my hand and began to walk out we asked if we could get some to keep the odor at bay, she then informed us to talk to housekeeping, rudely I may add. Then we went to light a cigarette, only to find NO ashtray for our smoking room, we called the front desk and was told "WE DON'T HAVE ANYMORE, BECAUSE PEOPLE KEEP TAKING THEM", well then welcome to the hotel business, order more, what are they like 20 bucks for a box of 300, they are ashtrays not beds or t.v's. We went to use the microwave at one point but then thought better of it as there was a science project growing in it, oh, and don;t take your shoes and socks off .The bathroom was complete filth, someones hairs were still stuck to the floor, yada yada yada, need I go on, We have stayed here four to five times over the last month, this was our last...never ever again, I can understand it being old, I can not understand filth, stupidity, and rudeness, in a business like that. I guess i got exactly what I paid for. The only good thing about the hotel was the price. Only one of the two beds was made. The floor had crumbs on it. It had a "stench" smell to the room all weekend.

This is probably the most decrepit, badly maintained hotel at which I've ever had the misfortune to stay. First unpleasant surprise when we arrived: All smoking rooms were on the second floor, with no elevator. My girlfriend uses a walker, so I carried it up a steep flight of stairs. Nothing in the web site info let us know this ahead of time so we […] could choose in advance. Second unpleasant surprise: The HVAC in the room looked like it had been taken part and only partially reassembled. It worked--sort of--but was noisy as hell. Parts were still out on top of the unit. We just slept with it off since it wasn't too cold. Third unpleasant surprise: The one and only ice machine in the hotel was out of service. The staff didn't think of taking the initiative to get a cooler and some bags of ice for theirguests. I went to a convenience store and bought my own bag for a couple of bucks. When I told the staff what I had done, there was no offer to reimburse me. The room was just awful. The weatherstripping at the bottom of the door had fallen apart and light could be seen coming under the door from outside. The curtain rod was not attached. This was a great price for what we got. This was a simple hotel that one would need for a night or two. I wouldn't suggest using this hotel for more then a couple nights. I would say however that they didn't bother covering the box spring and it was very gross looking. There was a spot or two in the shower where they were trying to cover a little bit […] of mold, it wasn't a lot just enough to notice.
