We travel a lot, and have eaten a lot of hotel breakfasts... but this one was the best, and biggest variety we had ever had! It was delicious! Our room was very comfortable, our only complaint was the thin walls, we could hear every little footstep and door close from our neighbors next door and above.

This hotel has been nicely updated. I wasn't expecting the newer carpet, updated decor, and overall "new-ness" of the hotel, which was very comparable to more expensive hotels in he area. It is located on a side road that winds back around and is a bit difficult to find in the dark. But it is located very very close to great chain restaurants and the […] Lloyd Expressway. (Which is probably the most utilized road in Evansville.) My only concern was the smell in the hallways and the room. It doesn't smell like smoke, but maybe some type of paint or cleaner. Read more

The room was clean but had musty oder. The bed was firm so my husband & I enjoyed a good nights sleep. The free breakfast the next morning was very good.

I've always had pretty good luck with Comfort Inns, and this one is no exception. It was a large room with king bed, and we had no complaints. Nothing exceptional. The beds were slightly uncomfortable and there was only one washer and dryer that were being used the whole time we were there. The first floor soda vending machine was out of order and there was no refrigerator in the room. Otherwise, the room was clean and provided us a quiet and safe place to sleep for the night.

We had a wonderful stay at this comfort inn. Newly remodeled and very clean from the rooms to the breakfast. Service excellent and friendly. There is a beautiful walking track around a lake right across street from the hotel. Every restaraunt imaginable nearby. Highly recommend

The staff was very pleasant and friendly. Since the Inn was recently remodeled, it was beautiful and very clean. The Continental Breakfast was very good and the woman taking care of it was so friendly. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Good location as convenient to St Mary's & Notre Dame, restaurant was open & friendly even though we arrived right at closing time, motel was quiet even though full with college sports teams, and weekend buffet was reasonably priced and filling. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wanted to use indoor pool & jacuzzi after outdoor winter run but ran out […] of time. Lots of traffic-free & safe places to run on both campi. Indoor exercise room not used but have 2 decent treadmills in case of real South Bend winter weather. Business center sufficient for my weekend needs. Read more

We were very impressed with the hotel, considering it was moderately priced (this was the hotel we received with the "deep discount/unpublished hotel" deal). The desk staff was very friendly, the lobby was well-kept, the room was clean and comfortable (standard size for a hotel, A/C worked well, plenty of clean towels, linens, and pillows available). […] The hotel, as most in the area, was over-crowded due to an event in the area. Nonetheless, we heard very little to no noise in the hallways or surrounding rooms during our two-night stay (our room was on the second of three floors, so we were surrounded by rooms). Our TV remote was not working well, and the desk staff was quick to provide replacement batteries when we mentioned it (which resolved our issue). Our only two complaints, which are truly mild, was that there was no refrigerator in our room, and the staff member manning the breakfast area the first morning was rather rude to me and others (which I took to be a personality issue - she seemed more concerned with keeping the area stocked and spotless than to be courteous to guests who may accidentally drop crumbs and such, or get in her way as she attempted to clean). However, the area was indeed well kept, and the breakfast selection was impressive for what I would have expected from other hotel's "continental breakfasts". All in all, we were impressed with the accommodations, and would recommend this hotel, especially for a long weekend or short-term stays. Read more

Hotel was very clean, and the staff was friendly. HOWEVER, if you want a good night's sleep, don't stay here. The walls were so thin that we could hear our neighbors talking to our left, and the television of the neighbors to the right. The hallways were just as noisy with people talking and slamming doors. We could also hear the people running/jumping/walking […] in the room directly above ours. This was a Wednesday night when you might expect things to be somewhat quieter. We contacted the front desk to request a room change, but we were told they were completely booked. If we weren't staying due to a very early morning medical procedure the next day we would have left. If you must stay here, try to get a top floor room at the end of the hallway. Read more

Very happy with staff. Rooms clean, and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Although it appeared in add that there were two different breakfasts "full breakfast/continental breakfast" there was only one and it was a full breakfast with omlets and waffles amoungs other items.

A modest hotel at a modest price. Do not expect glasses; plastic cups instead. The towels are rough, the breakfast so-so. But the location is a great one for runners or walkers, there are plenty of inexpensive restaurants and fast food outlets nearby. Good for a one-night stop over!
