Super 8 Motel - Woodstock - Woodstock

We've stayed here twice and enjoyed it both times. The rooms are nice; the second time our room had a couch. The only problem that we ran into was fairly minor: the milk ran out at the continental breakfast, and the employee couldn't get more right then.

Old hotel. Signs said they were renovating, but the signs were laminated and I think they are just there to appease you for the non updated things. Place was ok for the price. wasn't expecting anything too fancy. Breakfast room was fine, but not a big selection of food. Towels were decent. Pillow cases needed replacing as the fabric was so thin, it […] was transparent. Things were just old and dated. Tub area/surround needed some cleaning/re-grouting. I would recommend, but warn person of the condition of the hotel rooms. Location was convenient to restaurants and the highway. I found the motel to be clean, and it was located in a good location close to interstate and restaurants and shopping. But it was a lower end hotel and had not frills or extras.

Recently I stayed at two nights at the Woodstock Super 8 with my daughter (we had two rooms) and was pleased with the value and service. The rooms were comfortable and clean. My bed was firm which is what I like. We stayed here the wknd of nov. 10th 2012. As soon as we walked in, there was contruction going on in the front lobby. We checked in and headed to the second floor, rm 214. As we were walking up the stairs we noticed cat food on the stairs and landing. The second floor hallway also had cat food everywhere and tons of stains on the carpets. Our room […] was hidious. The bed was sloppily made and we later noticed an old cigarette but and candy wrapper sitting beside the garbage can. In the bath tub there were pubic hairs beside the drain as well. Upon checkout, i brought all of this to the attention of the front desk staff and she didnt look surprised. She didnt offer any apology or compensation. She just let us know that she'd bring it to the housekeepers attention. Terrible all around. Pay the extra money to stay somewhere else! Read more

The hotel seems old and dated, hall carpets are stained, you can see a dust line around furniture, cracked tiles on bathroom floor, tub grout needs replacing, shower head could use some CLR. Couldn't move to another hotel as they were full. You get what you pay for - low price and low quality. Staff was nice.

Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Room and furnishings showed their age. Mold in the bathroom. Stains on carpets. Strange smell in hallway.

The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was also very nice. The rooms could be cleaned a bit more, especially the bathrooms. Having experience in the hotel/motel industry, a housekeeper should close the bathroom door after cleaning it and look around to see if she missed anything. Über 401 schnell erreichbar, trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Schöne Zimmer, Frühstück reichlich, sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Das beste Super 8 in den letzten zwölf Monaten. Würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen.
