"Clean but smoky"
You get what you pay for and this place is very inexpensive compared to most. The room was clean but it smelled as if a heavy smoker had lived there for a long time. Even though the room was supposed to be non-smoking there is no way it was. The bed was hard as a rock and I could hear the person next door snoring.Genuine Expedia guest review
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The smell as you entered the room was awful. The bedding was old and dirty. This hotel has people that live in it as permanent residents and it has a very unsafe surrounding. I paid for 2 nights but only stayed 1 night and I didn't get a refund.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Crossland Spokane Valley Chelsie - I appreciate you taking the time to write a review of your experience with us. I sincerely apologize that your room had a slight odor and the bedding was not clean. As well, I am disheartened to read that you felt unsafe. Our priority is to provide guests with safe, comfortable surroundings. I am very sorry we were not able to do this for you. I am grateful for the feedback you provided so we are able to continually improve our hotel. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to provide you with a better experience the next time you're in the area.
Service was great. Very helpful people. Room was clean and spacious. Only issue was the bed was not comfortable at all. Too hard and woke multiple times throughout the night with back pain.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Bed was hard as a rock. Shower had one of those fabric curtains that wanted to wrap around you while you were taking a shower. Bed cover was full of cigarette burn holes. Mattress hard; sheets itchy. Won't be returning.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is a good hotel for the money. Free wifi, fridge, mini kitchen, some cable. Off far enough from Sprague that there is no noise. Nice clean rooms. Good shower. Stores and food around.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I have stayed there before and I think it has been improving each time. I would like to see the TVs up graded. The are so small, don't think have made them that small in years. Lol overall it was a good stay. ThanksGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to my desires"
Comfortable and quietGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a safe place to stay. It helped to have the microwave and refrigerator. The Staff made the place. They helped with the computer and found directions for me...they were courteus and upbeat. I would stay again. It is obviously old but if you need a place to stay that is central to alot of things, it was ideal.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not the cleanest place to stay..."
The hotel was ok for one night as we were traveling onward, and it was really cheap. But you get what you pay for here, I guess, because it was kind of gross. The sheets were clean, but the bathroom looked like it hadn't had a thorough cleaning. The room smelled like someone's meal, which wasn't pleasant. Wouldn't stay here again, despite the bargain […] price. The front counter people were friendly. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"spending time with grandchildren"
We chose Crosslands becasue of the price and location to the mall, and other shopping. After a drive from Montana, it was wonderful to walk into our cool room in the heat of the day with the air conditioner on. Check in was easy and the service was great. We had a fun time shopping, eating and talking in our room. Thank you for a great stay!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Over all the hotel was not bad. the beds need to be updated. I qwould stay here again the price was right and the location was good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great for the price!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was great. Got a really good deal, loved that we had a tiny kitchen, too bad we only stayed one night. Stores and food places were walkable, no complaints.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good enough on a budget"
Stayed just one night. The hotel staff was very friendly which is alway great. Place is close to eating locations and only a short drive to the freeway and mall.Genuine Expedia guest review
Although many things could be added for a classy stay the price was excellent for the comfort, location and convenience. The staff was very polite and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Hard Bed, but other than that, great."
It was a cute room. Nicely decorated, clean, friendly staff. But the bed was hard as a rock and I had to take a muscle relaxant to get over the pain the bed caused. So if you like a very firm bed, this is the place for you. A little bit of distance off the freeway, but not hard to find. Restaurants close by.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice room, laundry needs improvement"
Room was reasonable value. Sheets on the bed and towels smelled sour.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good and cheap!"
For the price, I should be giving this place all 5's. We arrived at 1am, but staff was nice and friendly. Room was small, but comfortable for my wife and I to get a nice rest. We both decided that this place was one of the best cheap hotels we have stayed at in quite a while. Great place to stay if you are just passing through.Genuine Expedia guest review
did not like the extended stay aspect of this hotel. Especially for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"a little out of town area"
I was booked into a non smoking room. I ask for a smoking room when making the reservation. The clerk advised that they had no smoking rooms until next week. Otherwise the stay was ok. I read the reviews and I have to agree with 95% of the people that the beds are very hard and you do get up very stiff and sore. The place was clean and well kept. They […] are in need of some new bed spreads that are not full of burn holes. You have to admit that the price was right. Thanks Jim Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"good room for a good price"
room was clean - had everything you needed - bed was a little firm. It was a girls night out and we all felt safe at this hotel. Location was great to the performing arts center where our event was held.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Quick 30 Hour Trip!"
This was my first visit to the Crossland and my first stay in Spokane Valley. The room was fresh, clean and ready when we arrived. Check-in was easy and simple. I was pleasantly surprised that the kitchenette was fully equipped. Too bad I didn't get to use it. There were a couple of issues though. There weren't very clear instructions on the use of […] the wi-fi and what to expect. We did call the front desk and they were somewhat helpful. We eventually figured it out. The second issue was that since there was only a shower stall and no tub, I was surprised that there wasn't a shower door instead of just a shower curtain. Water flooded the floor even with the use of the shower curtain. Unfortunately, we had to soak it up with our towels--we didn't have a mop. When we returned to the room that evening, we were surprised that our room hadn't been cleaned nor replenished with fresh towels. Yikes!!! I guess I didn't realize that the rooms aren't cleaned every day. It was very late when we returned to our room and we decided to use to the still clean fingertip towels the next morning. "Great price for a small bed"
Price was right. Never knew how small a double bed was. Now I do. Did not use the kitchen burners. No ice machine on premices. If looking for somewhere to sleep and nothing more this place is a winnerGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"It is fine for the price."
The front desk person was very nice, but in booking for a double room, it's too small. My son is 17 and I think any other person the bed was too small. It seemed like a twin/full size bed and he slept on the floor. The price was good and the place really is for an extended stay it seems. Some of the material in the room and internet called it an Extended […] Stay hotel, which I would not have booked. So the Crossland was a smart name change to lure you in, but I wish I knew in advance. The area is pretty much businesses, so to buy food you have to drive a bit. But, it was nice to have a microwave, fridge, sink and so on. There aren't really toiletries beyond soap. I usually have shampoo, etc. but make sure you have this if you stay here. If you need to stay somewhere for a bit when in the area it is great, for general travel and space, not so much. Very nice staff, though. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Mattress needs changing"
The staff was great but the bed was like you were sleeping on a board and hurt my back so much that I did not sleep that well. The noise from a neighbor did not help either. I got more sleep then I thought I would though. The price was right and the location but needs to update mattress!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't stay here"
Put in smoking room without being asked online or at hotel. Paper thin walls. Could hear everything next door. Got up early and got out as fast as possible. Friendly and courteous check in person. That is the only thing nice I can say.Genuine Expedia guest review
We chose this hotel b/c we decided last minute to attend Gonzaga's graduation and everything else was booked solid. This hotel is not in Spokane-it is about 8 miles east down I-90 in Spokane Valley. The front desk workers (one checking us in and one checking us out) were both very sweet. We did not have any housekeeping because we were only there two […] nights. The kitchenettes in the room were very convenient and the beds were ok. Good price, sketchy area. Walking through the parking motel was interesting-we saw two teenagers snorting meth in the parking lot, and we were approached in the hall by a guy who wanted to buy drugs. I was upset that they gave us only one coffee packet to use in the coffee pot, even though we were there two mornings. They charged us $1.00 for an "extra" one. Very petty and cheap of them. It is pretty much hot brown water anyway, not worth paying for. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
I didn't even realize when I booked the room that it also has a kitchenet, What a fantastic value...the only thing I didn't care for were people standing outside my room smoking, as it was stinking up my room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not so happy"
It was ok but I may not stay there again. I got a room with a kitchenette for a reason. When we got to the room the refrigerator was not on and cold. It turns out the knob to turn it on was broken. When we went to the counter we were told sorry because maintenace does not work on the weekends. We had brought food with us that needed refrigerated. Our […] stay was for a weekend seminar that did not give us much time in the room. We took our towels to the front desk to exchange and were told it was too late. I would think that it would be wise to keep this available all hours. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Staff is very accommodating. They go out of their way to take care of any special requests. I always enjoy having the kitchenette available. It is nice that they are pet friendly too... It is sad that some dog owners don't pick up after their dogs...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
