I asked for a non smoking room and was given a room where the smell of smoke was so bad that even clothes I left in my bag smelled. I needed a basic place to stay within a close distance from the place where I needed to be in the morning. This accomplished that but it was not at all fancy, nothing to jump up and down about.

I often stay at Crosslands. They're often off the beaten path so not near any stores/restaurants, but the rooms are fine, and I like having the kitchenette. This one is tucked behind a big car franchise, but there's a big Crosslands sign, so it's not hard to find.

I know it was an inexpensive room, but I think there are very basic things that should be included in every hotel stay. You can keep all the fancy stuff, but I really want a comfortable, clean bed no matter what I pay for a room. The comforter and blanket were riddled with cigarette holes. And I mean large, gaping holes. There was unidentified crusty […] residue on the comforter. The sheets had black smudges on them. And then there were the pillows. I have never seen anything like them. They were like lumps of cottage cheese. I had to take all the towels from the bathroom, place them in a pillow case, and use them as a pillow. We only stayed one night, but the management was wonderful, they really wanted to make our stay comfortable. The bed was kind of hard, but for the price, it was well worth it! Definently recommend this place if you're on a budget.

The hotel seemed to be more for people that didn't have a home verses someone that would stay there on a vacation. The carpet was stained, the baseboards were falling off the walls the hotel staff didn't supply clean towels or sheets. (The sheets were dirty on our arrival) They were located near the interstate and several places to eat.

The room was clean and cheap, that's the good part. The bad part - no ice machine, no ice trays in the fridge, vending machines locked up at 10 PM, no cold water in kitchen sink.

The Hotel was conveniently located near the Balloon Festival grounds but there was a new car dealer on one side and an industrial area on the other. They gave away our room and attempted to put us in a smoking room and when I said it would not do, the front desk person went out of her way to find a non-smoking room for us and did find one.

Room was clean but small and the bed was very uncomfortable. The t.v. was not good qaulity. When we arrived the bathroom was clogged. being after hours they did supply me with a plunger and I fixed it myself. The staff was nice but I was not satisfied with the motel

While the location & cleanliness were acceptable (not great), the entire facility had an odor to it. I had no choice but to stay the night, but I had to sleep with the window open to try to get rid of the odor. It was almost a musky/moldy smell. And the bed was EXTREMELY hard. Although it is close to I-25 the entrance to the hotel is behind a dealership making it difficult to find. There is not direct entrance to the Interstate. I booked two rooms and the receptionist could not give me rooms that were close together. One room was the 1st floor and the other was on the second floor

Seemed like a nice clean place until I woke up in the morning and found a large cockroach on the bathroom floor. I told the person at the front desk and they assured me they would have someone spray the room. Great, I'm sure that will fix the problem. The place looked good and had no major issues other than that, but wow.

I had rented 3 rooms and then had to cancel one of them a few days before we arrived because one of our friends couldn't come and the Hotel canceled the wrong room. We were suppose to have one king bed in each room but instead was given rooms with two queens in them. There was no shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom. No kleenexes in our rooms, no iron, […] and no hair dryers. There was a small kitchen net with a two burner stove and a small fridge. The cabinets had dishes/pans and silverware. Upon arriving the night clerk didn't want to have anything to do with me. I was given the wrong room and told "too bad I can't do anything for you". When I asked for some extra linen, since I would be sleeping on the floor since there was only one bed for 4 people, I was only given two blankets and told that is all they have take it or leave it. I was still not given the room I paid for as was told that since I booked through Hotels.com the exact room I requested was not gauranteed by this hotel chain. Horrible. I checked in, when I got to my room there was no bed. A bed frame, but no bed. All the furniture was pushed up against one wall. I re-checked in to another room, there was no tv remote, a coffee maker but no cups for the coffee. A complete lack of concern for details, or for guest comfort. This is just a cheap motel.

The outside of the hotel was nice but it wasn`t the same for the room. The room was disgusting, it looked like the room hadn`t been cleaned, there was hair on the bathroom floors and the paint was cracking off the walls.
