We had a nice time just needed a place stay after a concert. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, was happy about the extra pillows in the room. Overall had a good nights sleep.

My family stayed here for only 9 hours by the time we got in, but it didn't take long for me to spot how unclean the room was! First off, there was absolutely gross small black hair all over the floor, toilet, and shower in the bathroom -- and everyone knows that all guests look most at the bathroom for the level of cleanliness of the room, so CLEAN […] IT!! Also, it was awful as I was trying to tissue-clean the hairs away that my 3 year old spilled somebody's "left-over" coffee from one of the coffee cups! Why in the world was this not noticed??? Stop trying to make the maids work as fast as they can and give them time to literally look around the room and clean it for the next person! I would not recommend this hotel. Read more

The first room we were given had an unused syringe filled with ceftriaxone, a drug prescribed for among other things, bacterial meningitis... needless to to say we checked out of that room pretty quick...

I have been to a couple of Fairfield Inns that I was not too fond of. This one, however, exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. Free wifi throughout the hotel. They advertise a heat swimming pool and spa. The spa no longer available and the pool was cool. The window in the room did not seal properly resulting in the heater to turn on and off frequently.

My wife, son and I traveled to the Scranton, Pa area for a funeral. We were scheduled to stay at the Fairfield Inn for two nights. Around 5am our young son came down with a bad stomach bug and got rather sick. The staff was wonderful. They took care of our every need and were so nice about it too! As the hotel is nothing special. It was pretty clean […] compaired to most. We had an issue with the toilet not working when we first got there but it was working just fine on our return from dinner. I originally considered calling this review, "1997 called and wants its room back" but I thought that title would be distasteful...but you get the idea. I travel about 50 percent of the time for business and I see a lot of hotels. I won't bother seeing this one again. It was clean but that's about it. The rooms were out-dated, the cleaning staff was […] lax about giving new shampoo (petty but annoying) and the pool was broken down. There was also a no fitness center - a huge must-have for business travelers. Oh yeah, the cable guide wasn't even right! Then there is the big kicker...this is one of the most expensive hotels I've ever stayed and I have no idea why. I would suggest staying at the Residence Inn next door or the beautiful, new Holiday Inn Express that's on the next street very close to Uno and Quaker Steak and Lube. Read more

Nice, clean hotel. Not quite as close to the interstate as anticipated, but not too far and still relatively easy to get back on. Location is ideal for an overnight, but not a particularly picturesque location not within walking distance of anything of particular interest.
