"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.

We had a very good time and the hotel was close to work.

Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.

Let the West Coast have Hollywood; Broadway’s lights are just as bright, and many screen actors come to the Great White Way to gain acting credibility. Area attractions include Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the Museum of Modern Art. Resplendent St. Patrick’s Cathedral takes up a block at Fifth and 50th. Once seedy, Times Square now hosts ABC, MTV, and NASDAQ.

"Great location"
Check in was a little lenghty..when coming from an early AM drive, train ride, lugging lugage, cab ride....we were exhausted as we always are upon our arrival into NYC. Not enough check in agents. Our room was very nice. Great comfy bed..beautiful large bathroom..only complaint was the temperature of the room.. a little stuffy..could not get the air […] to a comfortable temperature. Read more
fabulous, very friendly staff
ENJOYED OUR STAY VERY MUCH.
"convenient location"
Room looked nice but Overpriced for what we experienced. Remote for TV didn't work talked to someone about it but wasn't fixed . Wish there was coffee in room. Probably would look elsewhere another time.
"Friendly Staff"
We really enjoyed the friendly staff at this hotel. Lefon the doorman made our stay special. The hotel had no problem storing our luggage fo us and were very accommodating. The room was small and the beds a little too hard for me. There we no amenities and the room not so memorable. But we loved the location.

"close to all must-see sights"
nice.
"Nice Hotel - Awful Service"
During check in the agent on duty was rude & obnoxious - welcome to NY. Then the agent to my left checking in a single women, asked her for her phone number!! Bag check service was horrific too. Room was very nice and the location in Times Square was perfect. Probably wouldn't stay there again.

"Great Location, great place"
We found Millennium Broadway Hotel on Hotels.com for a great price. The room was nice, clean, updated and had a great view. You can't beat the location, on Times Square with easy access to everything in NYC. Loved it!

"Beware of the Parking Garage the Hotel uses"
A number of articles were stolen from our car while in 'the care' of the affiliated parking service...
"Nice People, Nice workers, Worn Hotel"
Staff was great, location was great, room was clean and comfortable - but well worn...furniture banged up, shower old head with build up, towels wearing thin. Location and people made up for these gaps.
"Location, Location, Location"
Great value for the location. Little "in-room" annoyances like a missing light bulb, the TV remote not working, and a leak at the origin of the shower fixture tempered my enthusiasm for what is otherwise a well appointed room, that is clean, large, and comfortable.

"Good but..."
Everything was fine except the tv remotes were horrible. You could not change the chanels
"Great Location BUT..."
...service at the front desk was awful. The counter was wet with something and I mentioned it to the guy checking me in...NOPE...he didn't clean it up. He even brought it to another front desk clerk and he also ignored it. Hotel is average at best but the room was actually nice inside. Kinda old and our key lock kept getting stuck (annoying). Absolutely […] an awesome location though...there is a parking garage right across the street and it cost me $45.00 to leave it overnight. Typical Times Square Hotel...I recommend the Michaelangelo!!! Read more
"Clean, safe, but nothing special"
Was a very comfortable and clean place to stay less than a half block from Times Square. It has great restaurants nearby. Staff was generally helpful and welcoming. But the rooms were nothing special. There was no WOW factor or luxury feel. But for the location it was great great great.
"millenium hotel, broadway"
it was alright, cept the room was little small and they didnt have enough room for extra bed....
"Millennium Hotel-reasonable at the right price"
Hotel is getting clowse to needing a refurbish. Food in the dining area on the first floor was of poor quality and preparation.
"The Millineum on Broadway in New York"
This hotel is one of the best in Times Square, very close to broadway and must see sights, the hotel staff very nice, the rooms were clean, spacious, and the view is to die for...
"Service with Attitude"
We reserved a room with two beds, but they gave us a room with one bed. Service at the front desk was terrible, including the manager on duty. They did not correct the mistake even though it was clearly their mistake and I was showing them the confirmed reservation with two beds on my phone. It may have been a little easier to handle if the staff would […] have been apologetic and friendly, but instead we got major attitude. Read more

"Millennium Broadway New York - Quality and Value"
The rate we received was very reasonable for a 4+ star hotel right off of Times Square and the Broadway theater district. Hotel staff were knowledgable and kind. Cafe Cranberry right across the street was perfect for a great/cheap cook to order breakfast. Greyline double decker bus tours very close to experience most of what NYC has to offer tourists. Bath/shower […] combo was older but water pressure and towels were above average. Bed was on the firm side but slept very well. Had a corner room with lots of great window views but room was very quiet (much more so than another hotel I stayed at in lower manhattan during the week for business). Room was very large and well appointed. Read more
"Filthy hotel not a 4 star. Misrepresented by hot"
Would not recommend.
"Had fun, but have been to nicer places"
This was a nice hotel. Location is great. Rooms are fine. Clean. Staff was friendly. TV Cable was not working correctly for our visit, so watching TV was not fun. Kept getting static on screen. They tried to fix it, but no luck. Also, be careful with the mini-bar. We put a soda in the fridge, come to find out there is a scale in there. So they put a […] charge on our bill. When I asked, they gladly removed it, explaining the situation.Beds were alright. Bathroom was big and nice. Room was fine. Don't think I will rush back there, but if they are running a deal, then I wouldn't say NO. I think I would go back to some other hotels I think were nicer in the area. Read more

This hotel is in serious need of remodel. The carpets are filthy and stained. The pillows and mattress are awful, Altho housekeeping tried to find other pillows for me (unsuccessfully). Hardly anywhere to sit in lobby. Forget about a meeting. Restaurant service was non existent. Overall, unsatisfactory.
Fantastic location and friendly service. I will be back next year.
"New Years Eve Crystal Ball view"
Just spent four nights, perfect location to subway, restaurants and Times Square. We were on the 30th floor, room 3011. Great view of the crystal ball and surrounding area view. Would love to book this room for new years eve. Nice desk personnel and maid. No. complaints, quiet street, valet parking.
"Great hotel, just steps from Times Square!"
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nicely appointed and clean. And it was steps away from Times Square! What more could you ask for on your visit to NYC!
"Highest Quality Hotel - Times Square - Good Value"
Just a quarter block from Times Square 44th & Bway. We upgraded to a Superior King room for very little money and got a 32nd floor view directly into the heart of Times Square. Top notch service, well appointed room. This is the best value I've seen in a typically very expensive location (perhaps no one comes here in March!).
"Great location"
The Millinium was great for our short stay. Taxis were easy to get and the hotel is close to the subway. There are lots of food options around including good barbecue across the street and great burgers and shakes a block away. The hotel is in the middle of the excitement yet inside it is a nice quiet environment. Definitely where we will stay on our […] next visit. Read more
"Hotel Millennium Broadway - great location"
After reading several negative reviews about the hotel, I was worried about reserving. But, after arriving I found the staff, the property, and the location all to my liking. The rooms could use a little refurbishing, but otherwise it was a wonderful Spring Break vacation.
Excellent location for mid-Manhattan activities; time for renewal of room furnishing/public area. Some pre-mature deterioration in the quality in these areas due, probably, to accommondation of a massive number of younger, thoughtless guests. A shame, indeed, that the hotel management has to suffer from that!
"The Hotel Millenium in Time Square"
Awesome location, great price for what NYC has to offer!

"Milinium broadway"
Hotel was great, but after I paid in full, I was chaged by the hotel twice
