Some of NYC’s best-known landmarks are north of 14th and south of 59th—or Midtown Manhattan. Here, couples kiss atop the Empire State Building. this hotel is in a great location - close to times square and the many subways on 42nd street. we mostly just walked to places around (madison square garden, theatre, etc.). the room was much bigger than i'm used to for a new york hotel - there was room to walk around the bed and even put our bags down. great view, too.

Whoever was prepping our room wasn't very attentive to detail - no ice bucket - didn't get shampoos, etc except the first day. Had spilled talcum powder next to the bed - it was never vacuumed up. It was acceptable, but not outstanding. We upgraded our room and didn't feel that upgrade was really worth the extra money - higher level room, but the view wasn't anything to brag about

Good location. Front desk staff, bellmen all very friendly and helpful. However, our room on the 29th floor, while spacious, was not on par with the level I'd expect from the Millennium. The room smelled a bit like smoke and must, and cleanliness was seriously lacking. Ginormous oily hand/head smudges on the inside of the windows, mildew in the shower, and just outright dirt on the light switches. Food/minibar selections missing. Mattress is showing it's age and bedding (which *did* seem clean) was sparse - just a sheet and thin blanket. Had we planned on any more than a minimal amount of time in the room, would've complained. The main attraction of this hotel is the location, and for the money, there must be better, cleaner options.

The hotel itself was beautiful. The room not so much. The bedspread had something on it (ew) and the bed was hard as a rock. There were two pillows, very small and one extra in the closet with no pillow case. There weren't any non-smoking rooms left so we agreed to take a smoking room as long as it didn't smell. They assured us it didn't. The minute we walked off the elevator we got hit in the face with stench from smoking. The room smelled too. The staff was very friendly and the lobby was gorgeous. The location was perfect for going to see a play. Definitely not worth the price it charges for a night! Room was small. No amenities!

The hotel was hight priced for service received. Of course upon arrival I am told, No King non Smoking available so am stuck in a double bed. Internet access in room was horrible. I was on business so this caused me to go to another hotel and use internet service. I called first day and talked to tech support, they fixed it, but later that evening, same issue. Next day, same problem. Had to go to other co-workers hotel to get business done on internet. Hotel was nice and responsive in removing the internet charges off the bill. If they say they have it, it should at least be somewhat working? This is figured into the rate as a service or amenity they have available while staying there, and this is one of the reasons I selected it. I have just concluded my year of business travel and did 21 events utilizing hotels 21 weeks out of the year on business. I travel frequently and don't think I am a picky type guest, but if things don't work properly, it adds to the frustration the overall dissatisfaction.

Had a great experience staying 3 nights at the Millenium Broadway Hotel. Room (superior king) was extremely spacious for NYC, bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. The location (and price we paid) truly can't be beat if you want to stay in Midtown - great access to multiple subway lines, walking distance to theater district, restaurant row, Rockefeller center, Central Park. A small deli across 44th St offers reasonably priced beverages, sandwiches & breakfast foods. Hotel staff was informative & accommodating, noise level both inside & outside the hotel was minimal, especially given the location just off Times Square. Overall a great hotel experience!

The front desk staff was indifferent and rude both at check in and check out. Doormen, bell caps, concierge were excellent and other staff members friendly as we walked through the hotel. Excellent location for theatre. Rooms needed major updating. One television worked occassionaly, both tubs had drainage issues, furniture was old and marked up.

This was a really good situation. The rooms our friends and us had were the superior ones which were high up away from any traffic noise. Our room was a little 'tired' and in need of minor repairs to the bedhead and the minibar door. The automatic inventory idea on the minibar resulted in us being charged for an item we hadn't had. We had no problem sorting this out with reception. (Seemed like a regular problem) Phil, the concierge, was extremely helpful and very welcoming. We were really glad we chose this hotel

Although we arrived well after checkout time, there was no one to help us with our bags when we arrived. They were all helping get taxis for checkouts. Very easy checkin though. We went to the attached restaurant (Charlotte)for lunch and were very disappointed with the food and the limited wine selection. The concierge was very helpful in recommending a restaurant for dinner, and our view was almost spectacular. In all, I would stay there again.

Millimieum is an ideal location a few blocks from Time Square. So you are close to the action. The rooms are clean and nice, although not a luxury. The shower controls worked backwards, so hot was cold and cold was hot. After you realize its not a problem. The key card operates both the door and elevator. The card does not work the first time in the elevator. After the 5 tries the first time, the elevator shut down on me and all the lights went off. I hit the button and someone came in. However, I think its really bad if something happens, the elevator has zero lights in it! The mini bar is loaded, but if you touch something they try to make you pay for it. Concerige service varies, first day very helpful and following day not at all

This hotel is half a block off of Times Square. It has an entrance on both 44th and 45th Streets. It also has great proximity to subway stations, bus routes, and site seeing tours. They have in room safes and free internet access. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We felt very secure in this hotel. Some drawbacks: They have 2 towers. The tower we were in did not have ice machines. Ice had to be delivered to our room. This was only a minor inconvenience. They give you the bare minimum on towels unless you specifically ask each day for more. Again a very minor issue. The furniture in the room was not very comfortable and the bed was adequate.

My boyfriend is from California and had never been to the city before and I have been to the city several times before. I booked this hotel so he could have a great time, and we did! This hotel is about 15 steps from the center of Times Square. The front desk was SO friendly (Melanie especially) and our room was clean with a great view of the city! A lot of people say the rooms are small, but we booked a king size bed for us and the room itself had a flat screen tv, two BIG leather chairs, tons of room, and a big bathroom. We had our clothes and suitcases and everything thrown throughout the room and we still had plenty of room. The hotel set up car service for us and anything we needed they arranged. I really loved the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised, and it made me look good getting this hotel for him! The price was great too. I'd love to stay here again.

This was very convenient for the locations I needed to be in NYC for this weekend. There are two 'parts' to this hotel - so if you go in the main lobby - you were then directed to walk down a long hallway - past an old theatre that now serves as a conference center and into the second section of hotel. Not very convenient for someone with a herniated disc after a long trip with heavy luggage. The staff were very pleasant and helpful once I got to the 'right' side. My room was everything you need - including a separte sofa and sitting area if you wanted to sit and watch TV rather than watch from bed. If you do not need to be near Times Square, however, the crowds at night and difficulty 'getting' around even on foot can be an inconvenience.
