It was a great location, directly across the street from airport which is why I chose it. Just wish it had free wifi in the rooms, but they did have free wifi in the business center with a printer too, so it was very easy to print boarding passes, etc. It was nice room, just wish you could see a movie in English, even pay per view movies.

The Moevenpick is a very convenient hotel if your traveling to and from the Nuremberg Airport. The hotel was very clean as well as then room, the only complaint I have is that there was a little bit of a stench coming from the bathroom once I arrived in my room. This is a beautiful hotel with an excellent location! We stayed here the night before our early morning flight out of Nuremburg. We were able to return our rental car and check our bags the night before, then sleep a little longer in the morning. There is a U- Bahn stop right in front of the airport, so getting to the city center is very easy. The only […] downside is the scarcity of restaurants, as the hotel menu has limited selections. (Fortunately we had stopped along our way at a wonderful gasthaus with home- style German food.) Overall we would choose the Movenpick again! Read more

Hotel is literally less than 100 steps away from the Nuernberg airport which is great! Also great access to the subway/train station (also less than 100 steps away) that you can take to get to the city center. Rooms are small but very quiet and cozy. Hotel staff is more than happy to answer all of your questions. Take advantage of the "pillow menu." […] You'll have to ask about it but they have about 4-5 different pillows available to choose from. I took the neck support pillow and it was great! great big room with all necessary amenities to make you feel comfortable, clean and wake up refreshed. Nice and very helpful staff. Great easy access to terminal right across the street - luggage cart fit easily into room and could push it directly from room to check-in. Super body lotion and soap!!

As always the service is superb. Very easy to check in and check out and the rooms are really nice. It's a plus that the mini bar is included in your room. If you have an early flight this is the place to stay.

After a long flight from the US to Europe, it was wonderful having a clean, comfortable and chic hotel to arrive. After an early check-in which they offered, I had a nice nap in their comfortable bed and then had dinner at their restaurant/bar. The food was delicious and so was the beer. Very convenient and also very affordable.

I was very pleased with front desk personnel upon checkin; we checked in early and she was very accomodating. GREAT that a window opened for fresh air. Hotel was adequate for our 1 night stay, but not recommended for luxery. However, price was excellent for a very short stay.

Extremely convenient for overnight between 2 flights using the airport. Very well run. One problem was the temperature setting: not enough variance, especially as they did not let you open the window. Otherwise clean and comfortable.

I do not understand why the current rating is only 2 out of 5; this is a great hotel in a wonderful location. All hotel personnel were simply wonderful and extremely helpful. My only less than thrilled comment would have to be the fact that because I got up at 3:00 a.m. and had to leave the hotel at 4:30 a.m., I did not get breakfast. My stay was an absolute nightmare. The staff lied to me, and treated me like crap. My room key states that there is an electronic entry log kept for security reasons, but the hotel said they never keep a record. Norman wouldn't let me speak to the manager because "he doesn't speak English". They lied to me about how many other guests were staying on […] my floor. They refused to let me call the police and wouldn't give me the number. Then they charged me 100 Euro to get my small animal out of the wall, when shouldn't be a hole in the wall at a pet friendly hotel to begin with! They also charged me for local calls... who does that? The only pro of this hotel is it is right across from the airport. Do not stay here if you are traveling with pets, this place is not pet friendly by any standards. Read more

Nice airport hotel within three minute walk to checkin. Room was small, but comfortable. Did find a long hair in bed and the dining was very slow service and the fish dish was full of bones and was unable to eat. Food and beverage prices were too high.

With bad weather disrupting travel in Europe, this was the best move I could have made. Steps away from the airport terminal, this hotel was super convenient. A light breakfast was provided at the hotel for those travellers catching early morning flights. Altogether a very positive experience.

It is an expensive, but very nice hotel, but we used it because of a very early AM flight out of the Nurenburg Airport so that we did not have to worry about getting transportation to the airport at 4 AM. We were disappointed that the only English speaking TV channel available was CNN. We are by no means fluent in German so could not watch other channels […] and understand them. Fortunately, we both had reading material with us. An English version of USA Today World was available at the front desk, also. We did find in early AM as we were showering that the soap/shampoo dispenser in the tub area was empty. We were able to move the one from the sink area, but this was slightly inconvenient. complimentary breakfast is offered, but we had to be at the airport before 6 AM, so we did not have opportunity to use. However, it was nice to have a complimentary continental style breakfast available from 4 - 6 AM. I found the bed to be a bit firm for my liking. The room was well appointed and well sound-proofed. I stayed with my wife + son (age 17) en route to Bayreuth; we got a late flight from the UK so decided to stay over and make our onward travel the next day. The hotel is literally across the road from the terminal building so an easy walk (i.e. no taxis or buses). When we arrived there were also a few others checking in but only one person on the desk […] so this is an aspect they should look to improve. Also the double room only had one set of towels, bed sheets etc but we notified reception and this was rectified quickly. Pricewise the single room cost the same as the double which was rather disappointing, though in total the cost wasn't too bad. One tip for others, if you don't want the full (and expensive) Movenpick breakfast, try one of the cafes in the terminal building. Read more

This is probably one of the very few hotels in Nuremberg that can accomodate 3 adults in one room. The staff was responsive to our email request after booking. The room was clean. It took only a couple minutes to walk to the airport. With the subway station across the hotel, we found the location very convenient.
