The Langham, Hong Kong - Kowloon

I stayed in an old room on the 13 th floor. The room was dated and humid. Clearly not worth the price. So there is a huge difference between renovated and mon renovated rooms. The latter ones not being up to par.

Great service - from the front desk check in person to the concierges who were extremely helpful - everyone was great. Very glad we picked this hotel would definitely go back. My only suggestion would be to have more electrical outlets in the rooms. But we did have enough outlets to charge several devices at a time.

I had worst experience in Langham Hongkong.The room smell is very bad.Even I could not sleep, when I complain this the hotel dropped few drops ginger oil, that's it.Also the hotel limousine service asked extra charge after departure 1,700HKD due to late. Excellent attitude of the staff, very willing to help with anything and very knowledgable. Rooms were cramped (we had a 'Grand' room) and being away from the water had no chance of a view of the harbor. If you can live without the view this is a great place to stay.

We moved to this hotel after four days at the Disneyland hotel, and were very impressed. Firstly they were able to give us an adjoining room for our kids, the staff were very friendly and the room decor was excellent - very stylish. Location is awesome for getting around - just a few minutes' walk to the ferry piers, tons of shopping and tourist points, and the staff were very helpful in helping us find other places, like cheap, authentic local restaurants nearby. The food in the hotel was also outstanding although a bit on the pricey side. The only downside is that although it's close to the harbor there is a big building in between the Langham and the harbour, so the views aren't great. I was unable to try all of their restaurants, but I particularly enjoyed the Palm Court--a delightful area to unwind after a busy day of touring or for a nightcap. The location of the hotel was very convenient. It's close to the promenade and the Harbour Center and the Canton Road shopping area. It's also close enough to the Tsim Shat Tsui MTR. The room we were given had a faint musty smell and my husband and I had allergies which we assumed was due to the carpet or the curtains. It's a good thing we had antihistamines so the problem was solved. The Tang restaurant was worth its 2 Michelin stars.
