Great hotel in a very good location! Walking to the rocks about 15 min! Construction going on now but we never heard anything so no problems!

We booked a deluxe room with king size bed for the both of us, and we booked it early. We were wowed by the size of the room, and the comfortability it gave us. Even if we felt that the extra space was a bit under used. More could have been put in the room for conveniences of the guests such as bowls and a sink, etc. It IS a deluxe room. But for the price, with such an early booking... The comforter/duvet was crisp linen style=noisy! But warm, and clean. A great service staff behind the desk, ready to assist you for sending out mail, guiding you to a great selection of restaurants in the vicinity, and helpful with clearing up any unneccessary charges.

All i heard before booking with this hotel was that it was art deco, very nice, great value and in a great part of town. The hotel itself is in an awesome location, a simple 5-10 min walk to darling harbour which has endless choices for eating and drinking. Its walking distance to China town, the rocks, pretty much near everything. When we got there the room was a little dirty (hair in the bathroom) and the bed was very uncomfortable. We complained down stairs and to their credit they did offer us a free up grade which just looked exactly the same so we decided to stay put rather then move all of our stuff. The staff was not that helpful and our the wait staff in the breakfest area seemed to be mad at the world. Stay here only if you plan on being drunk every night and using this place just as a roof over your head. For comofort and a little more money there were plenty of other options i wish i would have taken.

I was very impressed with the Grace Hotel. It was much nicer than I expected and quite historic. The lobby was very posh and the rooms are modern and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accomidating. It's a couple blocks from the Wynyard CityRail station and walking distance to the Darling Harbor/Sydney Aquarium/Sydney Tower. There is also a huge variety of dining/drinking/shopping very close by.

Excellent location, very good service, clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful remodeled art-deco building in downtown Sydney. The only drawback is the lack of Wi-Fi in my room. The cable-based connectivity was reasonably fast, but you have to sit at the desk. Internet is $16 US per day (for a one week purchase, otherwise it's more). This seems a bit pricy.

Upon arrival we found that the safe located in our room closet did not work and it took the hotel over 2 days to resolve. The manager promised to do something for our inconvenience but never delivered. We liked the room and location and would stay there again

Overall very happy with the hotel and the location. Easy access to both Darling Harbour and the BCD. The only complaint was that they didn't make our bed when they cleaned the room... strange!
