"Holiday Inn I-80 I would recommend w/reservation."
I had chosen the this hotel because we wanted to take the kids swimming, The pool was so cold the kids and the other guest that tried it at the same time said they did not want to swim. We ended up going to the hotel near by and they allowed us to swim. They said it happens all the time. When we are all meeting again I would have to stay somewhere else […] for that reason. Read more

This Hotel was build in the 70's while I still lived in the area. It was for many years at the top of the choices available. The hotel has reached maturity and could use a little updating but other than that is a good deal and still a very good place to stay.

"For the money it should have been much better"
I promised my wife we would stay in really good hotels if she would travel across the US with me on a 1988 Goldwing. This was only 1 of many stops on our trip but it holds the title of most disappointing. The hotel staff was really nice when we checked in, the place was clean and the room was tiny ( smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in ). It was […] the most expensive stay of our trip and I guess I expected more. We wanted to get on the road early and I asked what time breakfast started - they said that they didn't have free breakfast but the hotel restaurant opened early - the morning manager commented ( with a little bit of an attitude ) that the reason for the high prices its a Holiday Inn convention center. The place we stayed the night before in Utah was 50 times better and it was $25 cheaper - but it wasn't a convention center. Read more

"Don't judge a book by its cover"
My initial impression of the hotel was disappointment. It is an older building and the hallways and elevators show their age. While walking down the hall to my room I was very nervous. The room, however was very nice and did not disappoint. It was clean and comfortable and what I expected from the reviews I read on hotels.com. We would definitely stay […] here again. Read more

"Tiny Room, Dirty, and TERRIBLE Service..."
Our stay at this hotel was one of the most disappointing I have had the misfortune to experience. I don't even know where to start, but I'll try to summarize: - We arrived after about 15 hours of driving while moving my daughter to UCLA. Much of the main front lobby was covered in tarps and buckets due to a MAJOR roof leak. Lovely. - I had booked […] two rooms. One was a standard, unremarkable room, although not really very clean. The other was about half the size - literally a bed shoehorned into a converted storage closet. There was not even room for two nightstands in the second room. - Both rooms were oppressively hot when we arrived (the air conditioning unit had been switched off) , and the air-conditioning in the smaller room would not run for more than a few minutes at a time during our entire stay. It was over 90 degrees outside, which made for a VERY uncomfortable stay. - We went downstairs for breakfast in the morning, and the staff was VERY rude - almost hostile at times. The "hostess" NEVER smiled, and was too busy cleaning to say more than "How many?". The waitress was even less friendly. Bottom line: We could not WAIT to leave this hotel. "Review of Hotels.com"
The price paid through Hotels.com was higher than the rate charged the customers walking in off the street. Not good......
