"What a dump"
There was hair in my sink, there was hair in the bathtub, there was hair on the toilet seat and tank. The beds were something that you might find in a motel 6. It is truly a dump!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel nice but too expensive forthe quality offered.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location for business and to see family"
This hotel was great! Houston is my hometown and we came into town on business. I wanted to find a great location that was easy to get to Downtown for my conference, but not too far from family and friends in SW Houston and the surrounding suburbs. This location was great. Wonderful amenities, friendly service and convenient to all the locations I wanted […] to visit. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice but stinky"
Nice hotel but my stay on the 4th floor smelled like sewage especially when the air conditioner turned on.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The rooms and Hotel could have been cleaner but the staff was so very friendly and accommodating.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Employees were very friendly and, helpful. They were very eager to assist in any way possible. Rooms were very clean and up keep was excellent.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were in town for eye surgery at the Baylor Medical Center. We stayed on the 11th floor . All during the day we heard loud noises from above . We wer told they were working on the roof. We hear lots of things being dropped very hard and it was disturbing. In the restroom near the light switch we saw blood splatter on the wall. The bathtub had mold […] in the grout area . On one of the beds we found a long hair and other small trash. Clearly the room had not been propeprly cleaned. Very disappointing for the Wyndham chain such poor quality Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Business trip to Houston"
The room rates were very high for the overall quality of roomsGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was tainted by the fact I had to walk all the way back to my car to put up a parking placard. Yeah, and I paid $6 for the convenience of doing that with my luggage myself.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Had to pay $6 per day to park across the roadGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was very nice and the staff was very polite. The only downfall was the $6 charge for parking but being located in the middle of the medical center a parking fee is understandable. Would definately stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"One of the worst"
One of the dreariest and depressing places in which I've ever stayed. This place needs a total overhaul and upgrade.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Customer Service"
We requested towels daily and were very needy and they were able to support our needs without question. We had a kitchenette so we thought our room would be bigger and were not able to get a sofa couch. However it was all star weekend and nothing they could really do.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice hotel but not for $200 a night. Location great if you are going to one of hospitals. Restaurants within 2 miles. Rooms nice comfortable beds. I guess the rate was because of location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"One of the worst hotels I've ever visited."
In my 40+ years of business travel at minimum of 100+ days/month, this hotel ranks among the bottom five of any place I've stayed. Do NOT believe what you see in the pictures on their website--very deceiving! Rooms are small, dark, dreary. Decor, carpet, wallpaper, fixtures must be at least 20 years old. Furniture is old and worn, hallways smell, carpet […] throughout is worn thin. Hallways badly in need of vacuuming. The walls are paper-thin...you hear everything...and I mean everything! Strong odor coming from elevator shaft. I read reviews from guests who return to this place because of the staff; I can't comment on that since I tried to stay away from this hotel as much as I could during my 10-night stay, which unfortunately I had pre-paid. I chose this place because nothing else was available for that time, and now I understand why. I actually checked out a day early simply because I couldn't bear another night in that place. Locked us out oof our room to give to someone else and would not allow us, at first, to get our things out. I had many correspondences with this hotel and was not pleased with any. Questions were not answered on email I sent. Desk staff ranged from ride to incompetant. Pictures of the hotel were misleading at best.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very Close to Texas Medical Center"
We stayed here because I had an aunt who was in the hospital and we wanted to visit her. When we first got into our room, I immediately noticed that the sink was clogged. I called the front desk and got immediate service. We were moved to a much nicer room. Even though we were in Houston for a sad reason, the hotel stay was fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to Medical Center"
My husband had surgery, so we stayed the night before the surgery. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The hotel was clean and very quiet. The beds were very comfortable with nice soft pillows. The restaurant and bar in the hotel was a nice touch. Very convenient to the medical center for the next morning early arrival.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"good all around choice"
The hotel bar has limited hours, not opening until 5.. Parking in main lot is limited when hotel is fulll on holidays and the hotel needs to tell you up front to use the lot behind the hotel and just give the space number for them to be reimbursed, rather than parking on the dark street.Genuine Expedia guest review
"serves vacationers as well as the medical area"
We come to Houston every three months, and have ised all of the hotels in this area, in the medical district, this hotel makes it easy and convient for medical visitors, but we were there just visiting family, and were pleasantly surprised at how responsive they were to normal needs - more coffe packs, left the key card in the room, etc. Their parking […] availability is the best we have found in that area. Food service is near by. We had a nice kitchen area. We will use them again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"1st MD Anderson visit"
Frount desk were friendly and helpful. Room did not have a refrigerator. The tolet ran most of the time, making it hard to go to sleep. The service for breakfast was great. Its a buffet, but they will cook you eggs anyway you want them. Hopital shuttle driver was very friendly too.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice comfortable hotel."
Very nice property convenient to hospitals. Shuttle service a big help.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Comfortable Stay but a bit noisy!"
I seriously heard a lot of creaking around the room and joining rooms. The hotel lobby is nice and the buffet was decent. (KIDS EAT FREE!) The bartender was young and didn't know how to make a decent martini nor did he know what scotch was...but in his defense, I think he was covering several peoples jobs. This was over the NYE holiday and perhaps folks […] called in. The "Master King Suite" is smaller than I thought it would be. Not much bigger than a normal hotel room. And parents beware - there is no room, wall, door, partition, etc or ANYTHING to separate the room from the "living space" and there was only 1 TV as well. So no privacy in that room at all if you have young ones. But I would still give it 4 stars overall. We great a great deal price-wise and i had some idea of what I was getting into. I worked at the Methodist Hospital across the street for 6 years. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very convenient to Medical Center"
Friendly staff, pleasant accommodations, VERY convenient to MD Anderson. Clearly, the staff are prepared to deal with patients and their families, including regularly scheduled shuttle rides to the different venues in the medical center area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to MD Anderson Cancer Center"
Concerned! After requesting a "do not clean" on a day we planned to go site seeing, upon returning, it was obvious someone had entered our room while we gone. There was no safe in our room so we locked our identification and valuables in our suitcases before leaving for the day. When we returned we noticed the "do not disturb" sign left in the door […] key was on the counter and the room remained uncleaned. Anyone staying at this hotel, lock up identity items and valuables. You couldn't check in the room which you reserved.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very good on all counts except for two things. First- an alarm radio on high volume went off in the room next door in the middle of the night. The hotel did not have enough staff to allow the front desk person to leave and turn off the radio for 1.5 hours. The non-smoking room had been a former smoking room and had not been restored well enough to rid […] it of the sour smell of past smoking. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"very good hotel"
I spent two nights in the hotel. I think location attracts me to reserve room, but in my opinion the hotel has very features that makes me to reserve it. The room or suite is very organized and the color is comfortable to stay. And the stuffs are friendly and responsible.Genuine Expedia guest review
Disappointing experience for a Holiday Inn. I would not re-book or recommend this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient for hospital... Excellent breakfast"
But don't expect swift service at dinner. We waited forever for a waiter and ended up leaving and having a pizza delivered. However, the staff at breakfast was awesome! And be aware you will have to pay for parking!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The rooms were very comfortable, and cleaned completely each day. However, it was the staff that made this hotel an exceptional experience. Every single employee was anxious to provide the highest level of service and they always did. I would rate the service at the very top of any hotel I've ever stayed at, anywhere in the world.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Wasn't thrilled with this hotel. The gentleman checking us in was super nice; however, he failed to give us our voucher for our "included" breakfast the next morning. The bathroom floor was riddled with someone else's hair - nasty. The room was really small. I could hear the next room's TV through the connecting door. The view was of a parking lot and […] one of the numerous medical buildings surrounding us. Our TV would not turn on and after fiddling around with it for quite a bit figured out that someone had unplugged - so, had to pull the TV stand out from the wall in order to plug it back in. The lights flickered due to the "energy-efficient" bulbs being too big for the bulb sockets. There were stains of not-quite-sure-what on the curtains as well. The restaurant and bar had really terrible hours, and there was absolutely NOTHING open when the Sunday night football game got out and we returned back to the hotel. You would think that they have many football fans staying in the hotel specifically for that night - they should at least have the bar open. The best thing about this hotel was the staff - they were all very friendly. However, we won't be staying at this hotel again due to all the other issues. Oh yah, and unfortunately their in-room coffee maker (while yet another thing that I had to climb under the desk to plug-in) didn't come with any cream or sugar, so had to deal with black only. :( Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Smallest room ever"
I booked a room that was supposed to have a refrigerator and microwave but I end up in room with only 1 chair and nothing else... I called to the front desk and was told there is nothing they can do. Very difficult to negotiate a late check out... Being at a Medical Center , anybody will expect some understanding. Very patheticGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient for the Medical Center"
Good location, close to Rice and the Medical center, but a little run-down and scruffy around the edges. Very convenient Medical Center shuttle, that also helped us out by giving us a ride to Rice University. Paper-thin walls (you could easily hear normal conversations) but the staff was very nice and helpful. Nice room service - where of course you […] paid a lot but they gave you very generous helpings and a few extras. I only wish they had a shuttle to the airport - it is a $60 taxi ride. "No food and no place to park the car"
I arrived at the hotel around 11:30pm and had a rental car. There was no place to park the car. I had not eaten and the hotel had absolutley nothing to eat. Even the vending machines do not contain food for some reason? The room was clean and quiet but the overall experience was very inadequate for the price.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Extremely Close to Med District"
This was a great hotel extremely close to the Medical Area. We were able to walk back and forth to the hotel from the hospital. The staff was extremely nice & able to check us in early too.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The coffee pot in the room was broken. The food at the restaurant was good but the menu is limited. Not much else to eat nearby except carry out wings (Pizza Hut) and Burger King.
