it is vegas, but this is a very shady hotel. There are a lot of people that live in the hotel, and they aren't what I would consider pleasant.

The first room we received was not cleaned, the wood in the room was recently varnished the day before and you could feel it with your hands, and there was trash left in the kitchen. It is questionable whether the room was cleaned before we checked in. There was a note at the desk telling the night attendant not to check anyone into the room. However, the night attendant was new and did not review the note. The day attendant moved us to a new room the next day. The wood in the next room, however, also appeared to have been recently varnished. Overall, the room was good enough for me but not for my wife for the price that we paid.

the receptionists were very warm and nice. The room was cozy and clean. The area outside was field with eating choices and in walking distance. I will be back to stay at extended stay deluxe suites. I do highly recommend them.

I was promised a heated pool and therefore changed my reservation from another hotel, only to find that the pool was not heated and I could not go swimmimg which was one of my reasons for the change and paying an extra $60. I was given a story from the manager that it was broken but another person there told me that they turn it off in the spring.Well, it was too cold to swim, plus three lamps didn't work in the rooms and we had to be switched three times due to noise outside our room. All in all, I would never recommend this hotel. Thanks for asking.

The hotel was not at all what I expected. It was a very bad choice. I would never even consider recommending this hotel. It was over priced for the service. For example, the breakfast was apples and bagels with coffee. The elevator was broken and the hotel smelled like cigaretes. What really was deceiving was the words "East Flamingo", which I thought was in relation to the "Flamingo Hotel".It was really hard to sleep, there was too much noise and the ceiling creaked when the people in the upper floor walked around. You could also hear the drain pipes when toilets were being flushed.

I would recommend this to others but it did smell of smoke in some areas, not in our room but as soon as you walk out into the hall. When we returned to our room we werent able to use the elevator it was broke. But in all it was a nice stay for the price..would stay there again if need to.
