Everything was clean, neat and safe. Staff was extremely helpful na d price was right. I was in the process of moving out of the state so wasn't sure which night I would stay. "Dirty sheets, hard beds and very loud"
Lets just say next morning I got up a 4 am and stared driving because the bed was so uncomfortable I felt like the night was never going to end. the bed sheets were dirty and I had to change them my self, they did nothing to compensate. I will never ever stay at that hotel again. don't waist your money.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Will Stay Again"
The staff was very friendly, the location is excellent, the complimentary breakfast offered was very good and the clean liness of the facility was excellent. The only problem I had was the build up of the leaves on the outside of the entrances. I almost slipped on the leaves. Maintenance should try to stay on top of things like this to avoid possible […] accidents. For the price paid, I will definitely return to stay again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Extended Stay America - Albuquerque - Rio Rancho Blvd. I want to thank you for taking the time to post a review of your stay. I am glad to read that you were pleased with our staff, our location and the grab-and-go breakfast. As for the leaves outside the main entrance, I am very sorry for the inconvenience they posed, and have already addressed the situation with our maintenance staff. I can assure you that it has been taken care of and will be from now on. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us. We would love to see you again, should your travels bring you back to our area.
Clean, very spacious room. Kitchenette was good, but awkward that it was right as you walked in the door. Bed was large but a little saggy. Nice to have a couch and recliner to sit on as well as a kitchen area and desk. Bathroom was good, some mildew in tiles but otherwise clean. Breakfast is strictly "grab-n-go" so its just muffins, fruit, granola […] bars, and oatmeal packs, in addition to coffee and tea. Hotel could use a face-lift, but overall a great place for the price. Above average stay. Having a kitchenette is great and is primarily why we chose this hotel. The room was HUGE which was a plus. The bed was quite saggy, however. Everything was clean. Everything worked well: the wifi, the tv, the complementary DVD player, the kitchen appliances. Every time I walked through the hall, though, it brought the experience […] down several notches: the floor in the hall had so many stains I could not even count them. But our room was fine: very clean, and comfortable for the most part. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good except for Extended Stay America "Night Audit"
The Extended Stay America accommodations were reasonable for the price. The only problem was a so-called "Night Audit" at around 10 PM when several hotel patrons tried to check in. The woman at the front desk said that she couldn't check anyone in until her Night Audit was complete. This delayed check in for nearly 30 minutes for all of us trying to […] get to our rooms. I've stayed in many hotels on business and leisure travel over the years and I've never heard of such a thing. If their computer was going to be occupied by some sort of audit, at least they could print out the list of their patrons who would be arriving that evening and prepare their room keys ahead of time so that they won't have to inconvenienced that late in the evening. I think Extended Stay America needs to correct this and I also think that Hotels.com should be aware of this type of inconvenient situation that their customers may face. We got what we paid for. Deadbolt on our room door was broken, room was musty, furniture in bad shape, bathroom light very dim, had to mess with heaters when we got to the room. Service was good, but we only spoke to one staff person. Location was nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Very dirty carpets. Unclean rooms. Rude staff. Poor breakfast. No ice machines. No shampoo, etc. A sink and dishwasher, but no soap. Extremely loud neighbors. Bright streetlight coming through windows. Will never stay there again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Extended Stay America - Albuquerque - Rio Rancho Blvd. Thank you for your recent review of your stay. I sincerely apologize that during your stay you encountered problems such as, no cleaning soap for dishes or shampoo. I would also like to apologize for appliances such as the ice machine not being in order. "7 nights at Extended Stay America in Rio Rancho"
Bed very poor, stains on carpet and couch. Good refrigerator. Motel exchanged towels etc at front desk whenever we requested. Staff very helpful and nice. NO HAND HOLDS IN SHOWER or anywhere in bathroom! Have not seen this in years and it kept my husband from showering. They did have a handicapped room available but not with a king bed which we need, […] being tall people. (And we were already unpacked.) No maid service unless at motel 8 or more days. Response by Extended Stay America - Albuquerque - Rio Rancho Blvd. I appreciate you taking the time to write a review of your experience with us. We appreciate the kind comments about the front desk being very helpful and nice; however, we apologize that stains that you had found on the carpet and coach. Megan & Sidney were outstanding representatives at the front desk for ESA! (don't know if that is correct spelling of their names) They were very informative and customer service skills excellent. It's good to know that the bed will be changed out in JAN. 2014 however that would be important to do so now...as it was not comfortable. We recognize pets […] are important to all...however with allergies for many of us...pets should be kept in rooms that are continuously in use for that purpose...just as smoking is restricted to a certain floor. Thanks for a nice stay at ESA! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Wife says hotel very dirty. Rug torn and stained. Chair torn, stained and dirty.resented being requested to do own laundry. Wife says food look terrible -- she is a gourmet cook -- dinning area looked dirty. Serving table looked dirty. .HVAC hard to operate she says. Bathroom door had fresh feces on inside handle she says! Fresh feces on door handle. […] . Wife has arthritis no one offered to help carry her bags. she says no one offered to help her find the room or give her reasonable directions. From her description we would NEVER NEVER NEVER stay there again and nor would we ever recommend this hotel except to our worst enemy. Wife further said desk staff seemed to struggle with English. At least no bed bugs or vandalism to her car. Hotel was advertised to have indoor pool and hot tub. It had neither. Wife wanted hot tub for arthritis. I feel hotel grossly misrepresented itself. "Extended Stay America"
The hotel was nice. My first time staying there, and it was located in the area of the Civic Center for the concert we were going to on Friday. It was also very quiet and located with easy access to all the stores. Would stay there again in the future.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"You get what you pay for...."
This was a last min. booking, for one night. Just needed to crash prior to my destination. The room was serviced, and appeared to have been cleaned. But the condition of the room was warn. While using the bathroom, I was greeted with a cockroach walking across the floor.... Not relaxing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Do not stay here unless money is a big issue"
Looks new from the outside, but once you enter it is a different story...It is beat up, not well maintained, dirty, and it smells. The carpets need a shampoo, the rooms look tired, and worst, the pillows and bed cover smelled. They do not provide shampoo, so I had a nice soap shampoo. The ice machine was broken, and the ice in the freezer smelled. The […] 'breakfast' was nothing more than a muffin and coffee, no value add there. There are better places to stay. The room was adequate. The breakfast in the morning was adequate, consisting of coffee, instant oatmeal and some assorted granola bars. The only ice maker in the hotel was broken and was not fixed. When we requested extra towels, we were told "Will send them when someone is available" they never came. The bathtub tile had visible mold and the floor […] in the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the 1970s. We stayed Thursday through Monday and housekeeping never came, we had trash piled knee-high in the trash can. No fresh towels, no beds made, no room vacuumed the entire time we were there. The air conditioner did not work properly and had to be completely unplugged to turn off otherwise it ran on high cool all night long freezing the room. We will not be staying at Extended stay America again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean but run down"
Extended Stay America in Rio Rancho appeared to be a beautiful facility from the outside. The employees were wonderful to work with and very helpful. However, once I got into the room I found that it was in need of repair. The room was 85° and the air conditioning was blowing hot air. I had to mess with the thermostat to get the compressor to come on […] and once it did, it was loud. Overall, it was just ok. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convienent and Nice"
I've staid in WAY worse, lemme put it taht way. But donn't get me wrong, this place is real nice. The front desk ppl are nice and want to help. Room is like mini studio apt and has kicthen with big fridge and dishwasher. No knife for cutting stuff up so BYO. But is clean and does the job. Pool is great and theirs a BBQ for grilling steaks! Exersise […] room with treadmil and bike if your into that. Coffee, muffins, and other stuff to grab on for breakfast on the go. Laundry is expencive but it works. Some kids were runing in hallway like a pack of eleophants that ticked me off but I just asked em to quit it and they did. Not the hotels fault! Lets you keep a dog so that's conveneient. Close to Balloon Feista so i'd maybe come back for that. Good pick. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a nice and friendly motel just wish they had some kinda breakfast besides just granola bars, muffins, drinks, and fruit! That was the only problem I had with this motel!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was not what we were expecting! It was like our reservation was switched with a different hotel because it didn't look anything like what it did online. The pool was smaller than I was expecting and it only had 1 bbq grill so we couldn't use it for our reunion. We were also upset to find out room service only came to the room once a week which […] meant we had to take our own dirty towels down to the front desk and get new ones ourselves. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having a kitchenette in our room, but the stove top didn't work very well and I ended up burning both the meals I tried to make in the room so badly, we couldn't eat it and had to eat out anyway. Other people in our party had other problems with leaking windows and a missing refrigerator handle but we still had a great time at our family reunion. I do think I will be more cautious booking next time. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

not bad for the price, but was disappointed; it took the clerk about 15 minutes to come to the front desk to check me in. she was outside, said she was settling a customer problem.Genuine Expedia guest review
I really enjoyed the fact that the hotel had a fullsize fridge and stove top. it also had plates cups and silverware which are things you tend to never think about when going on vacation. the room was the clean and enjoyed that it was located right down the street from most of our shopping destinations as well as fave places to eat.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Only because it was close."
The hotel room itself was pretty good, it fit the needs of my family very well, however since I was only staying a week I was told that I would not recieve a cleaning service what so ever while I was there. I had to take my own dirty towels to the front lobby and exchange them towel for towel for clean ones. The breakfast was was pathetic, I know it […] was a grab and go but the first day there was no breakfast provided and I showed up an hour before closing and no one was there to help. Not to mention there was nothing there kid friendly except some apples and granola bars. The total choices included: Apples, granola bars, expired oatmeal packets and coffee. No milk, orange juice, not even water. I will not be staying here in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Rio Rancho, NM"
I stayed at the Extended Stay America in Rio Rancho, NM. I was on the third floor near the stair exit. I was there for a business conference. I needed to maintain a schedule. That means, I needed to go to bed at a reasonable time to wake up at 5:45 a.m. to get ready for the 7:00 a.m. registration. I had a difficult time sleeping secondary to children […] riding the elevator and then running and talking loud down the hall. I suspect that they were on vacation, as they did not seem to have a structured bed time. This is no fault of the hotel staff. I rated the cleanliness of the room as just "ok" as there were small splatters of dark brown dried material on the walls near the bathroom sink, toilet, and phone side of the bed. Maybe this was coffee or cola splashes? On the white painted walls, I noticed this right away. I cleaned it off easily with a soapy wash cloth. Other than that, the room was very clean. The bed was bowed on the phone side of the bed (I assume, as if this is the side in which most of the occupants sleep). This was uncomfortable so I slept on the other side. The staff was polite and helpful. Thank you. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

""service was awful""
The staff seemed skittish, couldn't multi task. If a business is going to have 1 person at the counter ,with a line of 6 customers waiting to be serviced ,the staff should be able to multi task , or at least acknowledge the customers, to take a number & have a seat.Genuine Expedia guest review
