The staff at this hotel eas very friendly and helpful. While the hotel is probably a little "tired", the room was a nice size, clean and comfortable. I wuld say that the hotel was well worth the price I paid which overcame my main issue that it was a little "tired". I would use the hotel again were I in the area.

Excellent stay for the price. The outside looks a little dated, but inside the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is only a 5 min drive to diners, restaurants, and movies- otherwise you are in the middle of nowhere on the turnpike.

Very convenient to highway and easy to get to. The resteraunt is located on the grounds and whille not great the food is usually good. Rooms have been clean and comfortable. Pool is good sized with a small fitness area. Good area to run outside as there is a gated community less than a mile up the road with sidewalks and low traffice count roads.

Over all the hotel was OK... From the pictures that was posted on here to the actual hotel what a big difference. Our room was OK was not impressed at all for what we paid to stay the weekend. Our bathroom was dirty I had to clean myself. Breakfast at Yogi's was OK as far as the staff I can't think of anyone who worked at the property that weekend evan […] saying hello.. We had a mandatory evacuation of our home due to Hurricane Irene. The hotel was okay, fairly clean and comfortable. We didn't really need to interact with the staff at all except to check in so not sure how service would have been if needed. It certainly worked for what our needs were at the time.

I would recommend this Hotel only because of price. The service was horrible. First of all we got put in a room that wasn't what we paid for though it was corrected and the service in the restaurant was the worst I've ever had even though there was no one in it. Also you have to pay extra for mini fridge and microwave:(

This place was truly in need of an overhaul. The bathtub was in repair. We did not use the pool b/c you can see the rust on the sides of the pool. The front desk staff were not friendly at all.

This hotel was a decent hotel with regard to cleanliness, however, the hotel rooms are small compared to sister Crowne Plaza Hotels I have stayed at. downside was that there was no refrigerator or microvave.I am a priorty club member and this by far did not meet the standard. However, hotel personnel were nice and professional.

Stayed here one night on our way south. Hotel staff was efficient and room was clean. However, the hotel was overrun with screaming kids that night and it was really loud.

HORRIBLE SMELLING ROOM. TOILET SEAT STAINED. SHOWER HEAD STAINED WITH HARD WATER MARKS. PILLOWS WERE HARD. CARPETS WERE WORN AND DUSTY. STAFF RARELY SMILED. FOOD AT YOGI'S WAS HORRIBLE.

No serious complaints about the Crowne Plaza. Staff were courteous, room clean & comfortable. Hotel itself was quiet, but outside was quite noisy, only drawback. I consider it "white noise" and I can generally sleep through background noise of this kind. But if you want real peace and quiet, the traffic here is just too loud. I'd still stay there again […] if I had to. Also, there's really nothing going on anywhere around there. Just conferences, conferences, conferences. We were Dance parents stuck with kids dancing in a competition in East Brunswick, had no idea where to go, the kids where in a million routines, had to be at the East Brunswick Preformance Center Saturday and Sunday. This hotel was beautiful, close and easy to get to. We will definitely be booking here next year.

Overall it is a nice hotel. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The only issues I had was the sink faucet leaked water all over the vanity when ever the hot water was used. I reported it to the front desk (Tuesday) - It was not repaired before I left (Friday). Also the cable was out for a day. However, the WiFi work well. Other than the […] hotel resturant, there are not many places to eat nearby (< 1 mile) . The front desk has a list of area resturants. The hotel is on the west side of highway 32 just off the New Jersey Turnpike. There is a hotel entrance that is easily accessable when going south on 32. However, if heading north there is a median that prevents entry at the front entrance. Instead one must use a side street and go through a business park area into the back entrance. All exits from the hotel must also be done from the back entrance. Read more

Went to visit parents in a nearby retirement community. There are many in the area. Great location to these retirement communities, but not much else around the area. Conveniently located off NJ Turnpike (exit 8A).

We were in town for the adventure race, The Tough Mudder. Our stay at this hotel was fine. The service was good. The rooms were nicer than I expected. The restaurant/bar is not that impressive, but whatever.

the bathroom shower was dirty had hair in the shower, the toilet seat was loose/broke. the room was ok, not the nicest. the best thing about the stay was the restaurant in the lobby which didnt even have good food but the employees were nice there. plus i never recieved my complimentary newspaper they said they give.

I wasn't impressed by the overall condition of the hotel, as it was definitely a bit run-down and could use a sprucing up. Also, another guest who's a relative of mine had asked for a king bed and was given a double bed room, which wasn't fixed until the next day. Also, I had to have my room changed due to the smell emanating from some of the other […] rooms, as I think some of the travelers were cooking food in their rooms. Bottom line - I would not recommend this hotel, despite the value it offers, unless you only care about the proximity to the turnpike. Read more

The Crowne Plaza Hotel (Monroe) is tucked away between a few different busy roads. On the way to the nearest pharmacy, we missed our turn (it was at night and really dark because there aren't many lights in the area) and ended up taking a 25 minute detour. Other than the location, the staff were extremely helpful. They went as far as mapping out directions […] for us, calling to check on our room service orders, and handling a duplicate reservation (an error on my behalf) without hassle. The rooms and hallways were clean and even though there was a soccer tournament (and several teams staying at the hotel) the noise was minimal.
