Very clean and comfortable room. Flat screen TV and WiFi are great amenties. Personnel very friendly and helpful. A bit hard to access. Only negative was the hotel dining experience. Food and service were okay. Breakfast was a big disappoint especially since you had to pay for some very mediocre food.

I''ve always had good experiences with Holiday Inn hotels, our room was clean and the staff got us our room right away. There was a security guard walking the grounds at night which made my girlfriend feel comfortable when she went outside to smoke as this is a nonsmoking hotel.

You may find the following useful: 1. Currently renovating the lobby. Should be completed by or around Thanksgiving. 2. Hotel's security policy locks the outside doors at midnight. 3. Only a handful of hotel rooms have ethernet network ports. All others require WIFI, which occasionally gets cut off, but moderately good speed when available. 4. Bathroom […] in room does not seem to have an exhaust fan, so showers will cause foggy mirrors. 5. If you pay for the Full Breakfast option, ensure they give you the coupon for the morning. I was charged about 10 dollars per plate without the coupon, until the confusion was resolved by the waiter checking the hotel room's entitlements. Even then, you still pay for drinks. 6. It is very difficult to turn left when leaving the hotel. Turn right and make U-turn at the next available spot, such as to turn onto the interstate. 7. The sofa seats were slippery. Make sure you sit on them squarely. 8. I booked through this site, and was double-charged by the hotel. I called the hotel today and they are reversing their overcharge. Read more

The Holiday Inn South County was a perfect location for my family to stay while visiting family. Everyone was friendly, except the housekeeper. I asked her for an extra towel and she told me to get it downstairs. Otherwise everything was great. A continental breakfast would have made the stay perfect.

I didnt notice it when I first checked in but there was a pretty severe mold problem on the window sill. It had rotted the sill and part of it was actually falling off. The rest of the room was very clean and the cleaning staff were fabulous.

Good location with eating places nearby even though had to drive to get to most attractions. Hotel was being remodeled, but it didn't take away from the stay. Nice and large indoor pool area, but could be kept a little cleaner (chlorine in the water a little strong), hot tub area needed to be cleaner and first night was not hot, but after reported, […] got better. Our stay was fairly good overall. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. They offer a breakfast in the restaurant in the morning, with a $20 voucher. Had we quit with the stay it would have been pleasant. However, we decided on breakfast. With the voucher we spent $8 for breakfast but was not worth it. I had nothing but excellent service from all the staff. The room was clean, big, microwave, small frig, an their sofa sleeper is wonderful if you have a teen or child. The only problem I had is the lighting was not as bright as I like. Its close to South County Mall an the highways so its very convient to get where you have to go.

I thought the room was ok. There was no information given to us about the pool, was there a breakfast? But the sink was clogged and there was only decaffeinated coffee in the room. If the maids were really honest, they would have noticed the sink and put caffeinated coffee in the room. Other than that, it was ok. Thank you.

The hotel staff was very nice and professional. Evidently it had just changed hands and now has a new owner. I reported the bathroom faucet and tub leaked. BADLY. I was told by the front desk that my room was not the on;y room with that problem. The booking also said there was a small fridge. None in the room. Booked this hotel due to its location to my meeting place. Upon entering the hotel, greeted by a very upbeat and helpful clerk. She promptly provided me with my room key and advised that the restaurant would close in 15 min. at 11PM. I thanked her and proceeded to my room. Not a bad place at all, good location to what we were doing. But.... our room was the first room past the front desk. That evening there was a lot of noise from kids up an down the hall.
