"Overpriced for my stay, unclean, needs remodeling"
The hotel needs a remodel. The bathroom was dirty, a brown ring around the caulking of the bottom of the toilet and mold on the shower tile grout. Towels were thin and small Furniture was old and the appliances in the kitchen were old with a broken microwave. I had to ask for utensils and there was not a lot of stuff for cooking in the kitchenette. […] It was overpriced for the hotel location and type...there is nothing "deluxe" about the place. "Horrible stay experience"
There was a cocroach behind the toilet when I went into the bathroom. It was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in and the whole hotel had a smell that I can only describe as a funk.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
They was very willing to let us stay longer than the check out time , nice separation from the bedroom and living roomGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Safety for a single women in a strange city. The convenience of the breakfast and the evening meal means not having to go out alone in a strange city to find a place to eat.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good and Bad"
Pros: Hotel is just off main highway, but not so close that you hear it all night. Restaurants, supermarket, shopping nearby. Staff friendly. Cons: No control of heat or A/C either you freeze or sweat and bed near vent unit. Wireless Internet connection poor and inconsistent even when paying for upgrade to high speed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was extremely disappointed in my room. No mattress pad on bed, you could see the mattress through the thin sheet! Bed spread very dirty. No place to put your clothes. People smoking and drinking beer outside front door every evening.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"You Get What You Pay For"
Let's just say that I'm glad I don't have to worry about staying at a place like this for more than a night here or there. If, like the gentleman standing over the lone clerk at checkin I had to consider a MONTH at a time, it would be downright depressing. I suppose it is possible that for some this is as good or better than their own home. For me, […] it is not. To wit: 1. there was a constant drip that appeared to be behind the refrigerator. Couldn't really tell but I was prepared for a flood. 2. The room layout was odd, as if the designers hadn't actually considered a bed. 3. I discovered that I had been sharing my room with a nice-sized spider who had taken up residence beneath my shaving kit. I don't like spiders. Too bad he got away before I could flatten him. 4. While I appreciate a no-smoking policy, it forces smokers to congregate by the front door. Kind of a sad lot and one that I'd have preferred not to have to walk through. I see now that the minimum for a nice room in a nice building is more than $60 in Overland Park. Noted. Too bad, too, since this one had potential, right up until I walked in the front door. "Disappointed in Overland Park..."
Checked in around 11pm and had to call the hotel from the lobby to get someone to help us. Desk clerk was rude and we felt that she was being put out by us being there. Room was okay, but we found left over food in the Refrigerator!! Gross!! The morning clerk, Micah was a very nice young man and pleasant to work with. We thought they cleaned and made […] up the room everyday, but was told that they did not have housekeeping services every day which was disappointing. Not a bad space for the cost, but hotel could be somewhat updated and provide housekeeping on a daily basis. Rude staff should be retrained or fired. Thank you, Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

The rooms were modern & comfortable and the hotel location is convenient. The hotel allows pets and there were barking dogs across the hall every time a door shut.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was horrible I was up all night. I think there must have been some kind of pet in there before me and my allergies went crazy. The windows couldn't be opened so I couldn't even try to air out the room. The bed was old and extremely uncomfortable. The room was dirty. I had planned on staying 4 nights but there was no way I could have because I was […] that sick. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good Value - Needs Better Maintenance"
Good location. Competitive rates compared to neighboring properties. Friendly staff, but some problems with phone and plumbing that didn't get addressed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We go to KC to visit family every couple months and are in search of a clean hotel and a nice comfortable bed. We have never been disappointed here. The rooms are always clean, beds are comfortable. We've only had a problem once with a broken tv, which we noticed right away (turned it on for 'noise'). We reported it to the desk and they responded quickly; they brought up a key card to a new room adjacent to the old. Breakfast is a grab 'n go. Perfect for us in all ways.

Where to start... internet that is free is slower then dial up. Bed hard as a rock with blankets from the 80's. No dishes for the kitchen, and when asked for anything all I was told was they would see of they could track some down. Really? Are they that rare? "Smoke free" but the 2 rooms I had stunk like smoke. They where putting on a new roof so the roofers took up over half the parking lot. For the price of a place that is for week or longer stays they give nothing!
"Nice Value Hotel"

We got this hotel using one of those bidding websites. I was worried when I saw that this was the hotel, as I have stayed in other Extended Stay's that have been old and dirty. Much to my surprise when I pulled in, the outside of the hotel looked fairly new, even though they were doing some construction. The room was small and the free wifi was slow at times, but for only $40/night I couldn't complain. We just missed being able to get the grab and go breakfast, so we had to grab something at the convenience store. This is a nice clean hotel and would stay here again for that price.

We prepaid for our room through one of those sites where you don't know what hotel you will get until afterwards. When we saw it was an extended stay type hotel, we thought that would be good, the rooms are usually bigger and you get a good breakfast...WRONG. When the desk clerk checked for our reservation and couldn't fine it, I told him it was through XXXXXXX and things went downhill from there. That seemed to make all the difference in the world. As he was telling us about our queen studio, my wife asked about an upgrade to maybe a king or something and all he did was look at her and go back to telling us about OUR queen studio. Imagine an average size room, reduce that by a third and then squeeze in a kitchenette. Cleanliness and upkeep seemed ok, it's just a room that small is really not functional for two larger people. It was kind of like staying in a small RV, everything is squeezed in with just enough room to move around. So, if all you need is a good bed, you are out of luck there too, it was "extra firm". The next major disappointment was breakfast, coffee, no milk or juice, a muffin, and a piece of fruit. I think they had instant oatmeal if you could master mixing it up in a small cup. It was the sparsest I have ever had at any hotel that offered breakfast.

Stayed here for the KC Chiefs game. Was greeted by a very friendly clerk. He had my info already pulled up & was checked in within a minute of arriving. He spoke English very well & that was nice. The lobby was very clean & smelled great. The room was very nice. The walls are a little think so we could hear the people next to us in the morning getting around. However, if one of the reasons you are staying here is for the breakfast, don't. They call it a "Grab n Go" which consists of Coffee, Hot Chocolate, granola bars, apples, oranges, muffins & oatmeal. We went down there around 8 am & it was wiped out. It would have been better if it was stocked up. Other than that, it was a excellent stay. I will do it again & you can't beat the price!

We stayed here recently on a trip to KC to see my husband's family. It was one of the quietest hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable but wish they had had a king bed. The AC worked great and our room was very clean when we arrived. I would stay here again.
"I Always Like Staying Here"

This very well may be the best Extended Stay I've ever stayed at. Really! I've stayed her 5-6 (?) times before. Each time is the same, great. Nice, friendly staff. Dish-washer in the room and DVD player with a Red Box near by. Rec room with good equipment. Close to the highway, plenty of parking and it's quiet there. Enjoy!!
"Nice hotel with kitchenette"

I would have scored it higher. But I detest feather pillows. Other than that it was a pretty nice, basic hotel with kitchenette. Pretty new. Pretty clean. Sleeping area was a little on the small side.

This hotel should have zero stars. I checked in the hotel and they put me in a room that had someone in it then they put me in a different room and it was so dirty and nasty the floor was not swept crumbs all over and wet spots in numerous places throughout the room the fridge was smelly and had something spilled inside. But what made me leave the hotel 20 mins after I checked in to go stay at another hotel so I paid for two rooms that night but the bathroom was so nasty the tub had quite a bit of pubic hair in it and piss was on the toilet seat and two dirty wash cloths on the side of the tub. I would never recommend anyone to ever visit this nasty dirty hotel.
