Staff friendsy and efficient, room spotless, breakfast light bu OK

Check in was a breeze; room was very clean and very nice; the kitchen and the equipment was outstanding. If you need shampoo, etc., you have to ask for it at the front desk. It is free, but it will not be in your room. I recommend this hotel.

There was hair and dried shampoo in the shower/tub, no shampoo in the room, the blow dryer only blew cold air, and the tv remote didn't work. The blanket could have also stood to be washed or replaced as it was covered in stains.

Room contained full kitchen and was very comfortable. Internet access was very affortable. Everything was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was limited with coffee, bagels and muffins, but with a kitchen in the room, you can always cook; also, there's an IHOP just blocks away. I didn't use the shuttle service, so I can't comment on it. The room was well priced, close to the airport, had free parking and is just 2 blocks from the International Plaza Mall. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would stay there next time I visit tampa

A/C was making noise. They came right away and fixed the problem. Every employee I came in contact with was pleasant and always smiling. It was a pleasant experience staying at the Extended Stay Deluxe Tampa-Airport-North West Shore Blvd

I stayed in this hotel with my husband for a couple of nights. Is very close to the airport. No breakfast but you a Waffle House near. The Raymond James Stadium is blocks away as for the International Plaza Mall and West Shore Mall. Rooms and baths were clean. You hace a complete kitchen, with microwave and fridge.

We stayed for one night for a concert and overall we had a nice stay. The location to the airport and stadium can't be beat, it's maybe a 15 minute drive or less to each. Upon our arrival at the airport we called the hotel and the shuttle arrived promptly. Check in and out was fast,easy and all times I had contact with the front desk people they were very helpful and nice. The room was adequate, the bed comfy, we didn't use the cooking facilities. The one thing I would say they could improve on was the cleanliness of the drawers/furniture/kitchen. I realize this hotel is an extended stay type hotel and so some people may stay longer and use all of the furniture/drawers/kitchen, but then all of that should all be wiped out and cleaned properly, which I could tell they weren't. But for our short stay it was fine.

My room was awful! Several pieces of very old, very battered, very oversized for the small room. Missing microwave dish, front panel of air conditioner hanging by a thread .. just terrible! Not worth half of what I paid for the one night. I will never stay there again and I will definitely tell all my friends who travel frequently to go elsewhere.

Excellent hotel. Very spacious, that included a kitchen, sofa, recliner, king bed and full bathroom. The kitchen had dishes and silverware, and a full-size fridge. Hotel staff was very knowledgeable and provided directions/recommendations for restaurants. The hotel is a two minute drive and next to an International Plaza mall which is fantastic. Great food, shops, it had everything.

No toiletries in room except for soap..see desk if you forgot. TV old. Room getting dated. Quiet and ok if catching early flight.

The location was great, the shuttle service from the airport and to the airport was very reliable. I would highly reccomend a car rental for this location. Very nice location, close to everything. The rooms could use some TLC, the kitchen was not stocked (needed to check out a pot and pan) and forget about getting a sharp knife! We did all our cooking in the room on the 2 burner stove, which was fine for just the two of us. Not sure how the kitchen differs, if at all on a room that is for a larger family. Pretty tight quarters, but we didn't rent this place for hanging out at the hotel. The pool was nice, one day a very rowdy group arrived and we realized it was friends of the gal working the front desk that day coming to enjoy the pool. Don't count on the breakfast they provide, unless you are happy with a bagel or muffin and sometimes fruit (one day apples, another oranges or banana's) Good for bringing back coffee to the room in the morning. The staff was very friendly, and happy to give you fresh towels whenever you went to the desk to get them. This place would be fantastic if you were just wanting a place for the night by the airport, and perfect if like us you were using it basically to fix meals and lay your head on a pillow at night. If you are looking for a vacation hotel to spend time in, keep looking, this place was perfect for our needs and we travel often (6-12 vacations a year) I was apprehensive about staying but would stay there again. Also very quiet, noise was never an issue for us.

nice hotel clean nice kitchen good location i am going next month again

when i got to the hotel i was expecting a basic room (bed, tv and bathroom). instead i got a king size bed, little kitchen, livingroom and a tv with recliner (my boyfriends favorite part). it felt like a home away from away (nice and cozy). i am looking forward to my next stay which should be within the next few months.

I was very impressed with the hotel and in particular with the front desk staff. Everyone I delt with was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle service was wonderful and prompt both in taking me to my destinations and picking me up from the. The room was clean and orderly when I checked in and very comfortable. Not only would I gladly stay there again, I would highly recommend this location to all my friends and anyone who asks.

Not the cleanest or well kept hotel, but clean enough with plenty of room and half the price of other hotels within a block. TV didn't work in my room but they quickly moved me to a room that did work. If you are looking for luxury, don't stay here. If you a looking for a quit, reasonably comfortable place to lay your head at night while exploring Tampa during the day---this is a great place/price....

Nearby are ALOT of great restaurants and shopping too!

I can deal with anything, but bad service. The hotel seemed as if it was being run by teenagers. When I entered to check in the teen at the front desk was on her cell phone. About an hour after I checked in (8:00pm), I went back to the front desk to get some change to get a soda from the machine, and there was no one at the desk. I waited and waited and waited. I waited for 45 minutes for someone to return. Finally, I got in my car and went down the street to a service station to get a soda. When I got back 20 minutes later, The teen was back at the desk - on her cell phone. The next thing was the roach stained silverware in the drawers, and the hard carpet. These two things I could have dealth with, because you get what you pay for. But the HORRIBLE customer service was it for me. I will NEVER return to The Extended Stay Deluxe Tampa -Airport!

One of the best impressions of this hotel was the efficiency and demeanor of the transportation personnel, always available and reliable. The front desk staff were helpful, but probably not sufficiently trained on handling more than one customer at a time

My first impression was good. The suite was roomy. I didn't realize and wasn't told that housekeeping didn't come in and take care of the room each day. The sheets were old and didn't stay on the bed well and the mattress pad was anoying as it bunched up all the time. The "gourmet coffee bar" was anything but. They could have had juice as well as coffee for those of us who don't drink coffee. The kitchen looked nice but there were no pots if I did want to cook. The kicker was the cockroach that joined me in the bathroom on my last day there. While it wasn't the fault of the hotel, the fire alarm going off at 3 in the morning wasn't pleasant either.

The rooms and bathroom were dirty along with bugs..

They let me in early....good location for what I had to do....pleasant people behind the desk...I'll be back........

The only complaint we had was the breakfast. Only coffee, no juice or milk for the kids. Only served bagels and whole apples. One old banana left.

The room is very convenient for the money (free van or cheap cab ride from the airport) if you're flying in and want a place to crash after the flight. No frills and a little outdated, so I probably wouldn't stay for more than a night, although they have a workout room, full kitchen and a nice pool so it could be good for someone who's on a business trip (not vacation). The van driver was very helpful and took us straight to our rental car company, and it's just a short drive to a nice mall where we ate breakfast and did some last-minute shopping. Service was friendly, but the continental breakfast only went until 9 and we were looking to sleep in a bit so we missed it.

Overall hotel was good. Great location, spacious, good service, etc. The room was a little dirty. Look at the top of the refrigerator in room 105 ... I bet it hasn't been cleaned in 3 years.

needs vast improvements

The continental breakfast is the skimpiest I've ever seen! No juice, no cereal, no milk, no options! Bagels and coffee. A simple upgrade in the breakfast department would result in a favorable review of a fine hotel with a nice pool and friendly people.

It was not the luxury hotel if you are looking for that but very nice inexpensive hotel. I stay in alot of extended stays as I like the refrigerator and ability to cook if I choose. It is a place that I will stay again without hesitation.

big room with sofa bed and kitchen, full size refrigidator, no room service, and you have to fetch your own towels at front desk, includes a breakfast of baels, cream cheese and apples, or toast downat lobby area, if you are late you will be left with nothing (goes fast) Great for people or families that want to cook in their room. It's convinient and close to a lot of resturantas, airport, shopping malls etc. It's a no thrill hotel has a pool which we did no try, exercise room was okay.

I booked a standard room but was givin a handicapped room. when i showered water was everywhere b/c there was no tub

Very friendly and comfortable. Could be a little more glamorous. But overall, was very satisfied. Would not hesitate to return. Great location.
