Best Western Plus Windsor Inn - North Miami

Booked this for my wife and a friend for a personal event. My said it was a little pricy compared to the condition of the hotel and area. At this rate, they could have offered complementary breakfast. The location was ok for their event. She says it filled the need for a room for the night.

Hotel had problems with their cable/internet provider during our stay, but other than that everything else met our expectations. There is a very good Cuban Restaurant just north of the hotel on Biscayne Blvd. named "Little Havana" that we really enjoyed.

If at all possible do not stay on first floor, very loud all night long did not get alot of sleep. The young lady at the front desk was not very friendly, but it was close to my daughters school and that is what counted for me.

Great, friendly staff trying to do the best with an aging property. Front desk is very helpful. Rooms are well maintained and clean as is the pool area with new loungers and furnishings. Convenient, Clean and Friendly. Only on issue they were remodeling the room below mine and worked til midnight the 1st night I was there. Café had good food and was very accommodating had 3 meals there and all was well.

This place needs an upgrade. From the get go the wifi in the room was dropping out constantly. Room was on the third floor and had a weak signal. We got there on tuesday and they said it wouldnt be fixed til friday so they said we could change our room to down the hall. Went through the effort but same problem in new room. The staff was pretty helpful […] and pleasant though. The rooms aren't bad but they are rather small and dated. The exercise room has three excercise machines in it, no free weights. This hotel is in a high traffic area surrounded by strip malls. Maybe im expecting too much for Florida though. Our stay was for five nights and on the third day both elevators starting malfunctioning. Avg night stay was around $125. I think you can do better than place for the money. The management was less than accommodating. When I found that housekeeping had thrown away 2 bags of my clothing, I reported this to the management and they refused to offer any compensation for my loss. It was the hotel's fault, and it was blamed on the paying customer (SOMEHOW). I will not be staying at this hotel ever again.

Elevator were out of service most of the time. Room was not cleaed until after 3pm most of the days. Front desk agent spent alot of time on the internet located away from the fromt desk.

Hotel was clean and centrally located. The elivators get stuck all the time and there are no stairs to use. Late at night you can hear alot of police sirens and construction in the mornings
