"Very Noisy"

We where on the 6 floor at the back (the river been the front) the room was very warm and the air con was not switched on until "summer" it was mid 20sC while we were there, so we had to have the window open. Unfortunatly there is an air vent for the shops/kitchens at the back (southeast). This kicks in at 04:40 and switches off at 01:00 and is VERY LOUD. We did not get a full nights sleep at this hotel for the six nights we where there. Although the view over the hills of Kyoto was good. Few restuarants in the area but the supermarket below was useful

"good for stretching money"

Had convenient connection to department store wih food court and self service laundry (for a fee). Rooms themselves were un- remarkable. Hotel is in mostly residential area, not that close to public transit.

"Nice Hotel for the price"

Great Locations, Great Service and Average Rooms. The nice thing about the hotel is that attached to a seven floor shopping mall. This make it easy to have a cheap meal and all the way to a full meal. Also the grocery store on the first store was great. The hotel is a short walk to the palace and the Delwanger train station. The hotel does have a shuttle if you dont want to walk or go to the main train station in Kyoto to catch the bullet train. Overall a good hotel for the price.
