"Nice hotel to stay in at Whistler"
Holiday Inn is a good hotel to stay at in Whistler. We were there for only one night but I would stay here again for longer trips too. There is a small kitchenette (with pots, pans, plates, and cutlery) and fridge so you can definitely cook a meal if you wish. The location is good; it's in Whistler Village, close to the gondolas and super close to a […] Starbucks if you need a coffee in the morning. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Overall perfectly ok hotel. The layout is quite confusing though. After entering the lobby to register you have to exit the hotel, walk around the building past a restaurant to get to the 2-4 floors. Gym facilities very limited - only cardio equipment. No weights, no mats for stretching. Location of hotel in Village is excellent - short walk to gondolas. […] Staff friendly. Kitchen in suite reasonably well equipped. Would be good to have some pegs to hang skiing paraphernalia in room. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Comfortable stay in the heart of the village, close to all amenities and within walking distance to the Whistler and Blackcobm Gondola's.Genuine Expedia guest review
"The Static Room"
The room was literally full of static. I had to use extra conditioner just so my hair would be weighted down. You had to be careful not to touch anyone in order to avoid being shocked. Other than that the hotel was nice, very centrally located and the staff was very helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Holiday Inn Whistler Village Center Recently Whistler has experienced some very cold dry Arctic outflow weather which has created a lot of static in the air. It is not coming from the hotel.
A pretty good hotel to stay at whistler. It has all the facilities to cook inside. The problem is that the room is a little bit small.Genuine Expedia guest review
Was surprised that Holiday Inn charged $15 for 1 days parking. That should be included...everyone has to drive to stay at their hotel. When picking a room I don't expect to pay extra for parking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Holiday Inn Whistler Village Center All hotels in Whistler charge for parking as does the municipality for outside parking. we are the least expensive in the Village. Some properties charge $20+ per day.
Having been to Whistler about 10 times, I can tell you I appreciated many things about the Holiday Inn. Firstly, the staff was delightful. The fellow at the desk checked us in (and eventually out) quickly. I appreciated they offered to hold our bags after we checked out, because we had about 2 hours until our bus came, and it was nice not having to […] lug our bags around. Housekeeping staff always had a smile for us when we passed them in the hall, and when we phoned to request firmer pillows (as per their 'pillow menu') they were delivered in about 5 minutes. The housekeepers kept our room neat and clean, and there was never a shortage of towels or supplies. I also enjoyed how they set the table all nicely for us. It set a really nice ambiance. Location wise, this hotel is perfect: smack in the middle of the village, while still far enough from the clubs to be relatively quiet at night. The only negative thing I can say about this hotel is that the bed was a bit uncomfortable; I found it a bit too firm, and both the bathroom and kitchen taps were out of whack. Like, I had to push hard and in a certain way to get them to turn off. But those were the only things I could think of that detracted from my stay. Overall, this hotel should have a higher rating than a 3.7, I would give it a 4.5. Will definitely return. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We were very impressed with the full kitchen in the room. We expected to have a little bar fridge and a microwave or cooktop, but the room had a full kitchen with a dishwasher and laundry in the room! The location is incredible! Getting to the room is really strange. You leave the lobby, go back outside and walk around the building and then go back […] in to the building at the fitness center/hot tub. It makes it seem very ghetto. We questioned where we were staying when you walk passed the hot tub and through the concrete stairwell to get to the elevators. Once you get to your room it is great, though. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, very comfortable and good price!"
Just a perfect price quality hotel. Location is less than 2 blocks from the ski lifts where you can put on your boots and just walk over to start skiing. The hotel is not "new" but its very clean and super comfortable with everything you need in your room, including a fireplace! I would recommend anyone to stay here! Great price-value hotel!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Right in the village"
It was a good hotel, the downfall was no room service and elevators were all scattered so I has to take 2 different ones to get downstairsGenuine Expedia guest review
Desk staff were excellent. Check-in was easy. Late check-out was permitted. Rooms came with everything we needed for our two night stay. Room setup was good. The dryer came in very handy. We did notice some traffic noise and pedestrian noise at night, but not too bad. The location was great with a good selection of restaurants and a cinema at your […] doorstep. "Nice Hotel completely central to everything"
We stayed in the queen bed plus murphy bed kitchenette with our 15 year old daughter, we would thoroughly recommend this room, was very clean, had everything you need for a kitchenette and enough room for 4 people to stay comfortably.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Whistler Holiday Inn"
The hotel staff was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the bed was uncomfortable to us and there was a lot of noise coming from a neighboring room that made it difficult to sleep. Because of these two things, we are unlikely to return or recommend this hotel to othersGenuine Expedia guest review
Response by Holiday Inn Whistler Village Center I am disappointed to see that your recent stay with us was less than satisfactory. We do have on site security that is here to respond to any noise complaints if you call the front desk.
"Spacious for the price"
The room was a pleasant surprise -- furniture & bedding appeared brand new, lots of elbow room and with the kitchenette and table great space for a family with kids at a nice price. It is a bit funny how you get to (some) rooms -- having to head outside and through a series of doors, turns and stairs but once you arrive at your room you'll be happy […] with the set up. This hotel was very clean. The staff were very friendly and willing to help. The hotel was in a great central location with in the village. The rooms were comfy, quiet and very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great pricing!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good Kitchen and location"
The kitchen was great and the room size was large and washer/dryer in the room. Overall a good place to stay, for the price no complaints.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Nice hotel right next to whistler village"
It was a great room, the entrance way to the elevator was connected to a restaurant which gave an unpleasant smell but that aside it was a great experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
"close to the action"
everything vas OK except ten noise from the next room that kept un awake the first nightGenuine Expedia guest review
"In the heart of the action"
No negatives at all. Prime time brings out the late night revellers. Just need to close the window before bed. A wonderful experience over all. We will be backGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Liked location and the hotel was fine. Did not like being woken up by loud yelling and screaming from people once the bars closed. Some security presence around the village to stop such behaviour should be there. Lastly, I was not impressed with the dent on my vehicle left by some dork who parked beside me in the hotel's underground parking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very uncomfortable lack of space two bedroom suite"
It was a nightmare staying in the hotel. Very uncomfortable, narrow space in the suite that we booked, very overpriced, the bedrooms were very small, low celing, my husband is average tall, but he has to always keep his head walking in the second bedroom. Cheap style furnitures, mattresses were very uncomfortable!!!! Horrible!!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Overpriced, no amenities, good location"
We stayed for 1 night during the Crankworx competition and rather than paying the regular room rate, they hiked up the cost of the most basic room to double the regular rate. The hotel is in a great location but has no amenities and looks quite dated. The room had one comfortable Queen bed and one uncomfortable Murphy bed (I didn't know those were even […] still around!). The dishes in the cupboard weren't even clean :o( I would not recommend this hotel - stay somewhere with amenities, more updated or even a VRBO rental. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Room was nice but the beds were the most uncomfortable that we slept on during a 2 week holiday all over the lower mainland B.C. Hot tub was filthy, we cleaned it before we used it. Staff was helpful with directions, suggestions for dinner, etc. Location was great, right in the middle of everything.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Record high temps"
Great hotel - a/c was a portable unit that was very loud - no central air...understandable in a ski resort, I guess. Lots of room, full kitchen was a bonus.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good location and easy to get to anywhere in Whistler, just wish the walls were a little more insulated, as the couple beside us were having quite the romp at 6pm lol. Also a group of drunks got back at 3am and were pretty noisy in the halls, one of them actually tried to kick in a door.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pleasant stay in the whistler mountains"

"Holiday Inn good luck finding the entrance!"
The bathroom was very small and was old, There were 3 of us staying, we could have used more towels and maybe more than 1 small soap. There was dirt on the bathroom floor behind the door. The deck had no outdoor chairs and had sawdust on it, it could have used a really good clean. The staff was very polite and efficient. The layout was very strange, […] we had a hard time finding the entrance from the villiage srtoll side, didnt see any signage. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"studio apartment rather the hotel room"
The "room" was more like a studio apartement than a typical hotel room with not only a compact but fully equipped kitchen, but contained besides the fireplace both washing machine and dryer as well. Almost too much for the single night we were there but probably convenient for those staying longer. The location is right in down town Whistler with the […] back of the hotel exiting to the main pedestrian thoroughfare and shopping street. Even in ski boots it's location is within walking distance from the main Whistler-Blackcomb gondola. Fot light sleepers, be aware that's in the hart of down town with a lot bars, clubs and some noise frm party goers is inevitable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Right in the heart of the village."
Another great time at the Holiday Inn Whistler Resort. Great dining, bars and shopping right outside the resort. Staff at check-in desk extremely friendly and helpful. One thing to consider, night time 12:00-2:00am can be a little noisy from all the passers by down below on their way to different watering holes. There is an option though, to request […] and stay in a quiet section (C-Wing) away from the main thoroughfare. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The layout of the hotel is strange in order to leave the wing we were on you had to walk through the spa room. Other than that a very nice place with great facilities. It was very central to everything and had little street noise.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Beware of surprise fees!!!! Horrible experience."
I stayed for one night during the weekend, and the following week I noticed that the hotel had made extra charges on my credit card. When I called they said it was due to a noise complaint from individuals staying in the room above us. I was told that the room upstairs had to be compensated and so they charged my room to make up for it. According to […] the hotel, the agreement I signed when checking in allows for any pre-authorized payments from my credit card. However, when I checked out I was never informed of the noise complaint or extra charges as a consequence. I was told my the staff that I was good to go since everything had been paid for through Expedia. I'm very disappointed at the lack of professionalism, and have never experienced this during my stays at other hotels. Beware to those staying at this hotel - make sure you ask for a receipt for your total fees when checking out!!!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Location, location, location."
Enjoyed our stay! The mini suite had everything we needed, a well stocked kitchenette, big table, lovely gas fire place, clean bathroom, sun deck overlooking the "stroll". It is an older hotel but well cared for. The only problem was in finding it! It's not well marked, signage is small and dark and the hotel is tucked in behind other buildings. A bit […] of a maze. But once you find your way around, it's perfectly situated and accesses directly onto the village stroll, a 5 minute walk to the gondola. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Hotel was OK, very strange layout to walk around to get to our room. Had to walk through the hot tub area or around the outside of the building. No elevators in the main lobby.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The only thing I did not like was the room walls were so thin u could even hear normal conversations in the hallway and neighboring rooms.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Disappointing and gross"
I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Whistler Center in the past for a night (though never tried the hottub) and thought it was fine. This occasion was very different. We were booked in a "standard studio with queen bed". It was not a queen bed - I own one at home. This was a double. The curtains were actually full of holes (moth-eaten!). The room was half […] the size as the one I had stayed in before FOR THE SAME PRICE and when I called the desk to upgrade they were dismissive. We decided to use the hottub the first night and I will never get into a hotel hottub again without closely inspecting it. After being in the hottub for a few minutes we noticed a black layer of grunge of what could only be dirt and dead skin all around the hottub in a thick line and on our backs where we had touched the sides. I complained at the desk and they claimed to clean the tub twice a day! HA! What a lie! The only reason to stay at the hotel would be that it's right at the village - but don't use the hottub unless you want the hiv. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Front of House, great. Very friendly, courteous and helpful. Extremely good rates for the time of year. Room was wonderful. Great location in the centre of the village. Only one small issue with Wifi coverage which will be rectified by the end of September this year, I believe. I would strongly recommend this establishment to all.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Central Locaton"
Whistler of course was beautiful. The hotel was adequate. Staff extremely cordial. It's only failing for us were a noisy fridge that woke me, awkward kitchen layout, an oversized microwave didn't allow complete access to cupboards, one kitchen knife was not the all in one knife for bread, meat, etc. that it hoped to be, very dull indeed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Frustating Summer Weekend at Holiday Inn Whistler"
We along-with family freinds and kids had very frustating stay at Holiday Inn Whistler Village during the Hot Summer long weekend (Aug 4 to 6, 2012 ). We booked large 1 Bed room suite considering two couples and two kids (including one infant) occupancy. It was perhaps the hottest summer weekend in Whistler. To our surprise, we found that suite do not […] have Air Conditioning in the rooms and was provided with seprate Portable Cooler in the Hall (capacity enough for one person) and Two fans in the Bed rooms. The Hotel Manager, who helplessly attended upon request was justifyting that they do not need A.C. in any rooms as that is never required in Whistler even in summer. We kept the doors of the windows open to let the hot air flow out of the rooms and had sleepless night later especially with kids who had more suffering for our negligence while booking the hotel via Expedia. We never thought that we will have to check if Holiday Inn provides Air Conditioning in rooms and had terrible experience there. Kind request to check with hotel first if you are trying your luck at Holiday Inn Whistler in summer. Sorry, we are not in a mood to comment on other amenities in the Hotel at this stage. Hopefully this will help others before booking their summer vacation in Whistler. Thanks. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
