We enjoyed the service and found everything to be well appointed. Prices in hotel restaurant a little high, but folks did their best to please the guest. Canadian hospitality at its best!

Terrific location but it is a ski out-one has to take a shuttle to the lifts but you can ski home. The only negative-refrigerator made very loud noises all night. Nice place!

Very easy to access to the ski lifts. They have a valet which will take your skis at the bottom of the mountain which is very nice. The biggest negative is you kind of feel like you are being nickel and dimed for everything after paying so much to stay there. Oh, and the shower door in our room leaked water everywhere.

We arrived late (~10pm) after flying all day and driving up from the airport through traffic. The front desk was closed and we had to drive all the way back to the village to the Blackcomb Lodge for check in. Not sure if I just missed this in our reservation or if it wasn't specified but the whole process of driving back and forth added an extra 45 minutes to our check in. Our room was great -- clean, comfortable, well-appointed. We had a small balcony overlooking the pool/hot tub area below and a fireplace. In unit washer and dryer was nice. The pool and hot tub were great -- perfect temperatures for both! The location of the hotel was not ideal. There is a free shuttle from the hotel to the main village but the wait can be up to 15 minutes and it's about a 15 minute ride.

The staff was incredible. Our room was ready and they allowed us to check in early at 11am when we arrived! They also arranged later checkout to accomodate us. Less than 5 min walk to village. The two bedroom suite was perfect for 6 of us. The full kitchen was also extremely helpful. I would definitely stay there again!!

"Holiday Inn Whistler"
The front service staff were very helpful & polite. Absolutely no complaints about the excellent staff. However, the hotel does not offer internet service in the hotel rooms (the cable did not fit my Macbook Air). Nor did the rooms offer any movies to rent. My kids were very disappointed. The kitchenette room which sleeps 4 does not contain a couch/living […] area so any time spent in the room with family means sitting on beds. The room was very very tight for a family of 4. The one and only window was the size of a small bedroom window. The village was noisy and the window had to be kept closed. The hotel reception area is not connected to the hotel rooms - therefore, hotel guests must go outside in the snow/rain to get to the front reception office area. Skis are not allowed in the room and must be kept at the front office. The parking does not allow for SUVs with box tops. We had to park a good distance away from the hotel. "HOLIDAY OUT"
Our bedroom 619 did not have any comfortable chairs to sit on. The bed was our chair/sofa. There was though a coffee table along side of a wall. WHY? We were with our children (young adults) different floors. They had a stove and I had a microwave. WHY? The beds were too soft. Bad night sleep. Our children's room did not have a window. WHY? "Excellent hotel in prime position of town"
Used this hotel as a one night stopover whilst travelling from the Rockies to Vancouver, just wished we could have stayed longer. Hotel room (studio) was clean and tidy which had small kitchette, whirlpool bath and flat screen tv, plus free wi-fi. Hotel has it's own secure underground car park (charge applies) with a connecting lift to hotel rooms, […] very handy in the cold weather I would think. "Cheap and Cheerful"
We were looking for a place close to the centre of the village without having to sell off any family heirlooms. The Holiday Inn was cheap and cheerful, and pretty much what I expected for the price. We were pleasantly surprised that we had a kitchenette in our room - which wasn't in the description when we booked. The A/C was a huge bonus and kept the […] room from becoming a sauna in the afternoon. The view and decor of the room left quite a bit to be desired, but it is summer in Whistler, so we just needed a place to store our belongings and sleep. "Für den Preis super!"
Ich fand den Aufenthalt genial wir hatten eine eigene Küche konnten uns so verwirklichen. Für den Preis den wir bezahlt hatten war das Zimmer mehr als perfeckt. Das Wirlpool hat es mir aber angetan.
