Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.
Location.
Situated in Coquitlam, Ramada Inn Coquitlam is close to Red Robinson Show Theatre and Simon Fraser University. Additional area attractions include Metropolis at Metrotown and Coquitlam Centre.

Nice not desk people and that's about it. Mold in the showers, uncleaned mirrors and walls, forgotten maid service. Overall not too happy for the price which was only slightly less than much nicer hotels. Would have much rather paid a bit more for newer and cleaner rooms.

"Coquitlam Ramada Inn"
We had a nice time and it was central to the Birthday parties for my Aunt's 100th celebrations. Nice quiet clean and restful. Pool and Jacuzzi made it relaxing. We will be back next trip to Vancouver.

Everything was fine except two things for us that were not happy about it. First thing was hotel computer was not able to connect to the Internet during the nights we were there. We needed to lookup some locations so we can print a directions. Another things was the fitness room does not allow children who is younger than 18 to get in. "Lovely People and great location of Pet Rooms but."
Due to it being off season I guess, the our room had a bit to be desired in the clean department. As well, the way the layout of the fridge and desk furniture made it very difficult for 2 people to get dress. Easy fixes that I am sure will be. Nice and comfee other wise. Will happily stay again.

There was no thermostat in the room so it was difficult to set a comfortable temperature. A small leak was discovered on the toilet--the manager offered another room. The in-house restaurant has good fish & chips.

All I wanted was a clean room to sleep but linens & towels had ordors and I could not sleep well the first night. One very friendly and helpful night attendant and one not so friendly one. Everything about this otel is somewhat below average.

We were pleased with the excellent condition of the hotel. The staff and food in the resteraunt was great. The staff as a whole were all friendly and helpfull. I would reccomend this as a great place to stay
The staff here were very friendly and helpful. Considering it is a bit older the hotel is very well kept. The restaurant was really good aswell. The staff were excellent here also. I would recomend this hotel. Only thing was the treadmill wasn't working. Great stay!

We were not impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The tiles in the bathroom had mold and there was someone else's underwear under our bed, along with a stain on the comforter and a towel in the bathroom had a stain on it when we checked in. "The Ramada in Coquitlam"
Not going to stay here again. The rooms are old, the furniture stained, The only good thing is that the hotel itself in close to shopping and restaurants, but there are other hotels in much better condition. The halls were hot, the room I was in had bugs around the faucets - not pleasant

We were a little disappointed in the quality esp with Ramada's name. Needs updating in bathrooms and pool area. Our room was clean and comfortable other than the stained and thin sheets. "Great Hotel, Great Restaurant too"
Loves our stay. So close to all amenities. Our destination was IKEA so it was perfect. Troll's Restaurant has wonderful food and great hours of operation, subdued atmosphere with super music playing in the background. We simply loved it and will stay there every time we visit Port Coquitlam from Kelowna.

pretty much had all we wanted, a nice suite for 5 people, clean room, nice staff, pool and hot tub well maintained, the front window to the suite was not lockable, but we had no issues either way. great place for our needs.

We stayed here overnight. It is a motel, not a hotel, we found upon arrival. It was clean and comfortable. The front desk person was professional and helpful. Ample parking. It was apparent (in the bathroom especially) that this hotel had been renovated on a limited budget. We did not use the pool. No odors in the room. The door would not close properly, […] it had to be slammed to shut. There was no thermostat, only blue or red on the heater adjustment. As a result awoke at 2 am sweating as was adjusted too high. "Ramada Inn Coquitlam - Good Location"
Have stayed here a couple of times and been very satisfied. Comfortable clean rooms with everything you need, i.e. coffee, fridge, microwave. I also enjoy the fitness room, which has good basic equipment needed for a daily workout. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable stay!

"Ramada Inn - Coquitlam: Pleasant stay"
Stayed here while visiting family over the holidays. Staff was professional and courteous and we had a quiet room. Also enjoyed the hot tub/pool area, although access was from outside only--a bit odd of a layout. Would stay again!

We really found a great place to stay. The employees were very friendly - the rooms are clean and nice (but not new). The first hotel I did not need my own pillow! The restaurant (grill and bar) attached to the hotel is very good! I ate a soup - yummy!!! The pool is very nice and clean. We had a ball there!! We definitely will come back! The only "deduction" […] was that it is very noisy during the night, because it is located on a street. But that's just a problem for me as an islander!! We love it quiet!
