"Disappointed"
I was really disappointed for The Mirage! I mean it's right on the main road where everything's happening and very good location. However, the room itself was very very disappointing!!! They need a lot of maintenance to keep things up and running.

"Great Hotel"
We stayed in this hotel at the end of a week-long vacation with family. We have 3 small children, and the hotel was plenty big for all 5 of us. The room was clean and very nice. The only thing we didn't like was the mandatory resort fee charge added on to the top of our bill.

"Staycation for Valentine's night out on the strip."
We love the Mirage. We went there for a over night stay for Valentine's. We did a staycation. We had a tower king room with a beautiful view of the high Roller and the strip. We were on the 24th floor. the window even opened up some. was very nice to let the fresh air in. Had a great view of the volcano show as well. The bed was very comfortable. pillows were ok. The room was clean. Had a stocked mini bar but over priced. Be nice if the room had a coffee pot. The bathroom was nice size and loved the deep soaking bath tub. Shower was ok, but shower head did not move to ajust where the water hits the back glass . My wife had issues. So this needs fixing. Had two nice sinks and a huge mirror and lots of towels. Everything was clean. Bathtub needs resealing.looks tacky.lots of drawers and places to put your stuff. Sheets and bedding were clean. We would stay at the mirage again. Loved are stay.

"Mid price hotel has mid-price standards"
The Mirage is in a good location in Vegas and offered enough eating options in and near the hotel. We knew it was in the middle tier of hotels but - it sure could use some updating. The halls and casino are dark, bathroom needs work (peeling tile and glaze on the tub, plus cracked floor tile), poorly lit bathroom - how do you put on make-up? Beware - they put a pot of coffee on your table at the Pantry but charge $5 each for coffee. Craving buffet meal was basic but good.

"Great hotel... but rooms lack privacy"
My only complaint regarding this hotel is the privacy issue and hallway noise for the rooms. The doors are pretty but are extremely thin! You can hear every conversation and door knock to other rooms clear as day from across the room. In the halls you can hear what is "happening" in the rooms sometimes as well and it doesn't have to be loud. Don't get me started on the late owls coming in at 5am after a night out on the strip. I was there for a conference and it made it very difficult to get a good sleep. If I was there to party with friends, not a problem, but either way the lack of privacy to the outside could make me re-think staying there again if the price is similar to another hotel close by.

"The best stay cation!"
I live in Vegas and wanted to do something great for my fiance and myself for our first Valentines Day. I chose the Mirage because it's a great hotel, plus we got to see Ron White! I had originally reserved a room with a king size bed but it didn't have a view. At registration the man behind the counter moved me to the top level with a view of the strip! The room was amazing, our stay cation was incredible. I would recommend it to others.

"Gouged on the food"
Loved the hotel. Although, the cost of food throughout the resort was out of line. We thought this was just Vegas. But when we visited other resorts during our stay. We found this not to be true. Do not eat at the Mirage! Go across the street to the Venetian.

"Super Bowl Weekend"
We came in for Super Bowl weekend. Enjoyed the hotel very much with the following exceptions. The refrigerator in the room was stocked with beverages which we never consumed. I had a left over sandwich that I put in the fridge which required me to move some of the beverages. Upon checking out, we found out we were charged for the beverages. They did remove those charges, but be forewarned, never move any beverages, they are on a sensor and you will be charged. For watching the Super Bowl in a bar area near the Sports Book, the staff and management were not organized for letting people in the area prior to the game and had people standing for over 3 hours just to get a seat. If you are a paying guest at the hotel, you should be able to sit in this area with no additional charge. Eventually, we were able to be seated but the whole experience was not well coordinated.

"Weekend at The Mirage"
I had always wanted to stay at The Mirage and was able to do so over the weekend. I found the staff at The Mirage exceptionally nice - friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze and the bell staff terrific. The room was disappointingly ordinary. Bathroom too small and the shower was uncomfortable because the spray was needle sharp and could not be adjusted. Also, one bar of soap for both the sink and shower. Common areas were beautiful. Good variety of restaurants, most were expensive, however, quality was excellent. Given the number of choices in Vegas, I will try a different hotel next time.

"Would stay again and I do recommend!"
The Mirage was overall a nice place to stay. Convenient to the heart of the strip within walking distance. They had a good sized gaming floor and a very good steak house (Heritage Steak). The room was a good size as well with comfortable bedding. The only small complaint I have is the shower was kind of leaking but it did not affect the water pressure.

"Mirage: The 4-Star Hotel That Wasn't"
1st room glaringly too dirty, had to change. 2nd room took longer to discover but had a rusty tub, what looked like elephant snot splattered on the window (we didn't see the window right away because we knew it was the same terrible view as the 1st room), filthy/stained office chair (we were only using as a corral to keep the baby on the carpet), excess dust throughout the room. No fridge ($25 extra per night); requested crib it never came; safe busted, had to call security to retrieve my valuables (they said it happens a lot). Unsympathetic management to the above issues; no response to the issues w/ photos from corporate (in fairness it's only been a little over 24 hrs... but not even a confirmation of receipt).

"Smoke problem"
I am very allergic to smoke and you have to walk through the smokey casino to get to your room. All the restaurants were open to the casino. Guess we should have chosen a non casino hotel. Volcano was impressive. Refrigerator in the room along with snacks but don't touch them or you will automatically be charged.

Decided to go the less expensive route this trip to vegas and I came to the realization I shouldve just paid the $100 more. The rooms were fine. Nothing fancy. But the hotel itself is MEH. Smoke is BAD. very BAD. Also there was a fight on our floor. We were awoken to a man yelling LOUDLY and he was not happy. Also this hotel might be the worse for doors. you can hear someones door close 10 rooms down. never again.

"The Mirage- dont plan on a quiet stay"
My stay was not bad, it just was not good. I was on the 18th floor. There was construction going on so I could hear drilling nearly all day on one day I was there. I called the front desk and they offered to move me, but I did not want to re-pack, and they couldnt give me a view as i paid for so I had to deal with it. The walls are so thin and the door, that I could hear everyones conversation and movement. I kept thinking my hotel door was open. The drain in my bathtub didnt work so I couldnt take a relaxing bath which I would have liked to after all the walking. And lastly, my husband was down at the roulette table and we were just watching the game and had 3 people come up and ID us, ask us to leave the table and just flat out embarass us as they suspected we were underage...we are almost 30. Even the people at the tabe were irritated as they felt completely interrupted by the nonesense. We were on our first drink, so completely respectful, and still they were really on a mission to "catch" us doing something it felt. So...I wont be back to this hotel for those reasons.

"Overall a good place."
Decent mid tier Vegas strip casino hotel. Everything was good. Not great, but totally acceptable. There was a problem upon checking in. I paid for a premium view on hotels.com but they tried to give me a standard view. After 10 minutes of holding my ground they did relent but they definitely discriminate when you book 3rd party. I like hotels.com for the rewards so I always use it. Make sure you get what you pay for! Tight slots so do yourself a favor and keep your money.

The service at the Mirage was top notch. The bathroom was in need of updating and the shower head was difficult to handle. In fact, it would pull right out of the wall. The WiFi was hit and miss - don't bank on uninterrupted service. Overall the Mirage was an above average hotel.

"All in all a good experience"
The person who originally checked us in under the name Wattai, not so nice. You were overbooked and she wanted us to stay at the aria. No thanks since the Shot Show was across the street. We were upgraded to a suite. I had booked two additional nights with my wife after the show and inquired if we were able to keep the room for my additional days a strong no was the answer. It's Vegas people no should not be in your vocabulary. The morning we were to check out I talked to Sarah/ Sharon ? from Atlantic City behind the counter and she charged me an additional fee to have the suite and life was good. No changing rooms with baggage in storage or waiting in a room that needed cleaning. All in all a good experience.
