We would stay there again. It was very affordable and the places we visited were very accessible by subway. They have a 24 hr. shuttle to subway stop and airport which is very convenient. "Good Location, but unpleasant stay"
The room was smaller than expected. MUCH smaller than expected. The bathroom was so small it was tough to even move around without knocking something off the counter. The shower had very limited space for your in shower items so I would advise you bring a shower caddy with you otherwise plan on knocking things over in the shower and needing to pick […] them up. The room and hotel was fairly clean. The first day after we slept there for a night our room was not serviced so after a long day of walking around the city of Boston we came back to a untouched room. Guest services said our sign must have been up but we took the sign down at 10am when we left that day. I am assuming if they go by your room at 8am and you have a sign up they will not clean your room unless you complained like we did. Another thing we didn't enjoy was the shower drain was plugged so after 2 min in the shower it turned into a bath and it took about 30min for the water to drain out. We told the front desk and they said they would handle it. We came back and the room was clean and it looked like the shower was cleaned out so I assumed they fixed the issue. But believe it or not it was still plugged. We made a total of 3 calls to the front desk and every call was on the unpleasant side from the staff. The "T" subway station is only about a 5 min walk from the hotel and it seemed fairly safe. There were some sketchy city folk around but no one bothered us and everyone seemed friendly. The whole family members were happy to stay in the hotel. As we drove to Boston, we need a hotel with free parking, also free internet is what we really need. The free breakfast was a bonus to us. Overall, it was what I expected. The room was generally clean but it seemed there were some sticky spots on the carpet which was kind of odd and the ironing board had something stuck on it as well- did hinder my use of the ironing board and could have been fixed with a simple replacement of the board's cover. The neighborhood wasn't the nicest yet not […] the scariest either and the hotel was set back from the street and said neighborhood. There is shopping conveniently located behind the hotel including a food store, gas station, ATM, and Target. Also liked how there was a fridge and microwave in the room- have never seen a microwave included in a basic room before so that was kind of awesome. "Not a very pleasant stay at all"
When I arrived in Boston, the hotel's courtesy shuttle was supposed to pick me up within ten minutes. Thirty minutes later, I called and was told that they were *now* going to call the shuttle for me. I told them to forget about it, and took a cab. The hotel staff were quick to pass the blame off from themselves onto other staff members, and no one […] took responsibility for wasting my time. To make matters even worse, when I arrived, one of the towels had a brown stain on it. Before leaving for dinner around 5:30pm that afternoon, I asked them to change it. They assured me they would. When I came back 4 hours later, the dirty towel was still on the rack! When I complained to the front desk, the woman got huffy with me, and made a big production about changing the towel. Even the manager had a very blase attitude, and only really apologized to me when he saw me in passing. Overall, the hotel itself is pretty standard, but the service is terrible. The free breakfast was okay. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with my stay, and would not stay here again.
