Before booking we called to make sure we could check in early. Our room was not ready 2 hours after check in. We left for 2 hours and came back 30 mins after we were told to and it still was not completely ready.

It was reasonable for the price. It seemed a bit short on insulation as we could hear most everything around us. The breakfast was quite good and we appreciated not having to go out to get it.

The furniture is a bit dated but a sink, refrigerator & microwave were a bonus. Great value for money all round and complimentary breakfast was better than expected.

It was pleasant, but the hotel needs to upgrade and replace furniture. Also, the walls need to be cleaned. There were long black marks on the walls that needed to be removed with an eraser cleaner and the sofa chair had what looked like a big stain in the seat. It looked like maybe a child had an accident in his or her pants. The rooms were clean except […] for those things. The carpet needs to be replaced also. Our room was exceptionally spacious, and very well equipped. We fully enjoyed our stay. The exercise room was a bit on the small side, but provided a chance for much needed exercise on the treadmill after a long day of driving. There are many fine restaurants in the area as well as mall style shopping without having to travel overcrowded highways. The […] food court at the mall was a great recommendation! This hotel is easily accessible, and near a train station as well if one chooses to go into downtown Atlanta without the hassle of driving. In Room Heating and Air was ridiculously loud. But it wasn't just my room. When mine wasn't cycling on at the load volume one of the other rooms next to me was and it was louf enough to wake you up. Said something about it to the manager that sent someone to the room while I was out but the loudness remained.

This was a basic room, but notably clean. The room and bathroom were well kept. It was also a fairly large space, so l didn't feel claustrophobic. Overall, a quality room for the price and star level.

We stayed at this hotel before and had a wonderful room so we decided to come back. Well upon our arrival the room wasn't what we expected. We called the front desk and was told that we had a suite before...Asked about getting that and the lady simply said 'you'll have to cancel this reservation and re do it"..She offered no othere alternatives. We […] decided to just suck it up ..............Saturday morning, around 10am, I went down to the lobby and asked the receptionist if the TV can be tuned to ESPN2--he was like 'i am not sure--some of the channels in your room are not available here'..I asked if I could get the remote to try or have someone try for me...He then said, the person with the remote was not there??????.....but will check for me...10mins later, nothing..........15mins later nothing...I casually left---While we were checking out sunday morning, the same guy was at the desk and offered no apology as if he didn't even remember..He went thru the usual hotel questions of 'how was your stay' ..blah blah blah.........Within the past few months we have stayed at 5 holiday inn express hotels--We like this hotel and will prolly come back but the service leaves a lot to desire. I spent 5 nights in the hotel and the staff was very courteous. THe only issue I had was that apparantly on Wednesday night the hotel had a leak which would cause them to have repairs done on Thursday. I was without water until 6pm that evening and all the hotel did was leave me a not in my room notifying me that there would be no water. The rooms were clean, loved the microwave and fridge. The location was great, parking was convenient. We had a nice view from the 8th floor. The only negative was the breakfast bar. The eggs were terrible, bland. I could not eat any. The gravy also had no taste. The biscuits were dry. The orange juice too watered down.
