The hotel is very clean,minus the garage staircase which could use some attention, and provides parking for twenty dollars a day. Hotel staff were very cordial and attentive. The room was spacious and comfortable and we were able to relax and sleep uninterrupted. My only complaint would be a lack of a menu in the room to order room service and the only item that the vending machine sold was water. There is a gift shop in the lobby in which snacks and drinks could be purchased. The hotel is near the airport and the Grand Central Parkway. Would visit again and I recommend it. Good value for your money.

"Great place to stay"
I unexpectedly caught a flight from Houston to LaGordia and the next day to New Hampshire the weekend of the blizzard. I arrived at LaGordia about 12:30 am and had no place to stay. Luckily the customer service agent from Delta was able to book a room thru Hotel.com. I arrived about 1:30 am on the shuttle and the shuttle driver was extremely kind. The hotel clerk was extremely nice upon arrival, and the next morning the breakfast was great. Also, the clerk in the gift shop was extremely helpful. I had no phone charger, toothbrush, etc. since my clothes were sent to NH on a different flight. I definitely recommend this hotel and staff.

"Will stay again"
The hotel lobby decor is sleek with a nice bar area. I had a free buffet style breakfast with an omelette bar included with my stay and the food was pretty good. Both the restaurant and the hotel staff were extremely friendly. I had a double queen room for one night. The room decor was nice and overall clean. However, I did notice a few strands of hair in the shower and sink. Once I cleaned out the shower, the shower water was nice and hot. The bed was comfy to sleep in. There was a smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway, wasn't strong but noticeable. The check-in/out process was smooth. I can't talk much about the neighborhood because I went straight from my car (which I parked on the street) and into the hotel. The hotel is right near the airport. I would definitely stay again. I would also like to add that this hotel has really nice meeting/gathering rooms that are private spaces. I know because while I was there, I inquired about hosting an event. There's a section near the bar that is semi-private but very nice to hold a bridal/baby shower.

I was stuck at LGA and needed a clean, affordable, and close place to stay last minute. Free shuttle to and from the airport and breakfast buffet included in room price were the deciding factor between this and other hotels. Room was clean, bed was comfy, breakfast was basic but good. My only complaint was that the shower tiles were cracked in a few places and a little dirty. I would recommend this hotel to other weary travelers.

"Girls Weekend Getaway"
My friend and I did a girls weekend getaway and was very impressed with the hotel and staff every one was excellent!!! The food at the restaurant was excellent and breakfast was also great!!! The shuttle drivers were all very cordial!!! We will definitely stay there again and actually planning a future stay. The only negative thing I can say is the air-condition units are very loud especially early in the mornings. But other than that our stay was excellent!!!!!

"Sad! Pool Maintenance ISSUES!!!!"
This stay was for my Daughters Birthday. She wanted a "Pool Getaway" with the family. This being the only Indoor Pool close to home. Check in quick, Parking garage next door @ $20 for 24 hrs. Room maintained. If you think you will able to sit in the restaurant, not so. We arrived at 8pm & informed to go to the bar/lounge area, they wheel your food as if they are delivering room service from the restaurant to the lounge area that was fine, but the BAD was the POOL AREA! There is no proper maintenance procedures? Standing water on the floors surrounding pool & whirlpool area. Great for feet fungus! Areas w/mold. We left the pool area sad because of lack of maintenance. This could be maintained by the "lifeguard" w/a routine to clean this area, when there is no one in the pool, would seem to be obvious and would change the entire atmosphere?? We were Very disappointed w/lack of effort on the hotel managements part. We had to Thank God for the Bartender/Waiter for saving my Daughters night w/a surprise cake and singing Happy Birthday to her. Breakfast was a Pleasure, Fantastic buffet & staff was Super Sweet!! We Wish they would fix the Pool area, this would definitely have us return!!!!

"Three stars overall."
Check in was great. Check out was not. Rude morning staff. The rooms are spacious. The bathroom needed a good scrub and the tub drain was a bit clogged so water would pool around the feet. The breakfast was good. Lots of choices. I would come here again and I recommend.

"Very nice hotel and prices fairly."
My flight was canceled so I needed to find a hotel for one night. I didn't want something cheap and didn't want something expensive. This was a happy medium for price. Booked it then read reviews (I know backwards) and got nervous from the bad reviews, but it was too late to go back. When I walked in I thought I was at the wrong hotel. It was really nice!! (I don't know what the bad reviews were all about). I'm so happy I chose it. Also the food in the restaurant was really good (ordered wings and pizza). The hotel room was very clean and nice. If you experience otherwise I will be shocked. (And if you do just ask for another room). I wanted to make sure I wrote a review for this hotel due to the bad reviews and it wasn't bad at all. They even gave me a late check out! Thanks! I will definitely stay here again!!

"Stranded in NY"
I was travelling home from a business trip and thanks to "air traffic" I missed my connection and was rescheduled for a next day flight with no voucher, no recommendation of where to stay, and no USO in La Guardia airport to crash in. I did a search for hotels near the airport with a shuttle rated 3 or better by travelers and found myself at the La Guardia Plaza Hotel. I showed up with only my AF uniform on and some jeans in my carry-on. I bought a shirt and underthings from their gift shop along with my favorite Korean candy (Choco Heim!) and enjoyed a military discount at their bar and restaurant which is open until midnight. Their premises were clean and stylish and they are apparently the hotel of choice for Korean Air. The bed was comfortable and their hotel shuttle runs as advertised. I just needed a place to crash but I would definitely stay here again.

In order to avoid end-of-thanksgiving travel we booked this room. Hotel is fine, though lobby is loud with partying people. But, beware, there is a $20 charge for parking. On the other hand, there is a Hertz office where you can drop off your car, at the hotel, which would reduce your cash outlay. Also, consider dropping off your rental car the night before: probably will save you money. The restaurant is fine, but the menu is limited.

"Quick getaway"
Hubby and I really enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was not pleasant this time around was being awaken by the smell of marijuana daily from the patrons across from us and this is a smoke free hotel. In the morning when we would leave out the hallway was so cloudy of marijuana smoke. We contacted security who did come up (Josefina ) but it seems nothing was resolved because returning later on our room reaked and the next morning the same thing. Overall the staff, cleansiness,and room comfort is phenomenal.Brand new shopping areas nearby but limited parking.

Just stayed for one night , I thought it was a very nice hotel, my wife did ask me whose lipstick stain was on the wash cloth though, ( it was given in the clean pile)other than that this was a very comfortable stay! I didn't get to enjoy the food here as I had an early flight out in the afternoon.

"Romantic getaway"
From the front desk to doorman to the housekeepers the workers here are super friendly. The hotel is very clean and smells fresh. The bed is very comfortable. The only thing is that parking is very limited. Even though the airport is near you do not hear a thing also the patrons here are very quiet. Overall I would not mind staying here again. I would recommend this establishment to anyone

"Great for a layover"
I only stayed here for one night as a layover to a flight early the next morning. While it was only 4 hours of sleep, it was the best 4 hours I ever got. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the hotel and the staff was very helpful. The rooms are very nice for the price and the area. Very impressed.

My co-worker and I needed a hotel last-minute when our flight out of La Guardia was canceled. The Marriott Courtyard was fully booked and we found La Guardia Plaza on Hotels.com. It turned out to be a great find! It took a little while for us to check in (because all flights were canceled or delayed), but the hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were very nice (nicer than the Courtyard's rooms), and it was very clean. If I had to stay near the airport again, I'd definitely stay here. 8-min Uber ride from the hotel to our terminal.

We started out with a 5 night stay that turned into 6 or more xtra nights due to unforseen circumstances we loved everything about the hotel except the price we just figured we could've gotten a better rate a free night or something after staying here for so many nights, being out of our controlthe pool area need to be updated, the prices in the restaurant and lil store could come down being that there are no close by stores or restaurants the Chinese we ordered was pretty good the staff was really nice we was really shocked with the hotel when we arrived and I'm so glad we made this hotel our choice the rooms are spacious clean & modern no microwaves the hotel was very quiet despite it being full over the weekend I did have a problem with housekeeping knocking every minute starting @8:30 am then one housekeeper walked in even after I said we're in here she didn't leave she stood in the walkway of the room talking to me instead of going out the room behind the door smh overall wonderful stay and will stay here again
