"Convenient to La Guardia"
I was looking for a hotel with a complimentary shuttle to and from La Guardia. The rooms were great, the lounge food and breakfast menu were fantastic. The shuttle service was fast and effiecient and it was easy to get transportation to Manhattan. I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Buses to US open we're not run promptly, I stayed in this hotel only for the shuttle service to US open. The service was disappointing and wasted lot of time. There are no cabs available near H lot. The hotel looked nice from the outside and the lobby area was nice. The lounge and dining rooms were inadequately staffed, so although the waiters were very nice, they couldn't move fast enough to cover all the tables. The vent in the bathroom was appallingly filthy, really horrifying. The rest of the room seemed pretty clean but that was awful. The […] other problem was the shuttle to the US Open. It was great that the shuttle was offered, and on the way over in the morning everything was fine. On the way back, however, when we walked back to where the bus was supposed to pick us up (a bit of a walk to a remote area with little signage and no one in charge), the 11:10 bus took on a wheelchair passenger and then left without taking any of the more than 20 people who were standing there. I called the hotel after a few minutes and told them what happened and that by then there were 40 people waiting, who would not possibly all fit on on the 11:40 bus. The clerk said they were sending both vans back, which they did, but it just seemed very poorly planned. Also, there was pressure to tip the drivers, which is always difficult. "US Open travelers be careful"
A group of us went to the US Open this week. This was a new hotel for us as we usually stay at another hotel. While the transportation to and from the Open was great the hotel didn't have access to watching the matches at nite in our rooms on the TV. We were given the option to watch it in the bar but the TV there wasn't HD and was horrible to watch […] a tennis match on. Despite asking for service, they said it couldn't be done till the next day. I was told I would receive a call back from someone at the hotel but didn't to discuss the matter further. They said they can't control the service provider for the TV service. I found the Customer Service person rude and totally unhelpful. With the prospect of net year with 20 people and ten rooms to book, don't think we will go back there. They could care less about what the customers wants. "Nice airport hotel"
I needed a hotel to stay for a couple of hours before my flight. Check in was easy, and the room was perfect for me; one queen bed, bathroom, AC, etc. At first, the AC wasn't working, but once I switched it to the proper setting, the room got cold really fast. There was a big TV that would've been great to use, but there was no remote in the room, so […] I couldn't turn on the TV. It served the purpose for us checking in at 11pm and having to leave at 5:30am for a flight. The front desk staff and shuttle guy were courteous and professional. The room was clean but dated - they still have the picture-tube TV's. However, half the hotel was covered in plastic and there was scaffolding outside, so I give them credit for renovating. the shuttle bus took a lot of time to pick us up. there was a cockeroch in the bathroom. we looked for in our floor if there was an ice machine but there wasn't so we went to the bar restaurant and they said no to look in the other floors we wanted to drink coffee but we did not have suger of creamer so we went to the gift shop to see if they can give […] us a few but they said no we don't have but before in that same gift shop we saw the sugar and creamer the day of our check-out we found out that the shuttle bus of the hotel could of taken us to the subway but they never told us that. The hotel is conveniently located to airport with fast bus pick up. Nice lobby and friendly staff. The rooms are large and the amenities and conveniences are OK. The room feels a little outdated and can use a fresh fix up although they did have the de rigueur flat TV.
