Basic hotel rooms, modern, bright and airy. Very good value for money. Friendly staff. Have stayed several times and will use it again. Only comment is that if you want to rise late in the day (or want to sleep due to jetlag, as we did on our first day) it is too noisy as you can hear the non-stop banging of doors, vacuuming etc., from around 8am through to the afternoon.

For the price, it is excellent. Comfortable bed, good shower, nice breakfast, wi fi and bar area. And it is in a handy location.

This was a nice, spacious family-friendly hotel on the motorway. Great spot if you have a car, but not otherwise. Large indoor pool was a big hit with the 7 year old. Room was pleasant and comfortable and service was good. We were paying 50% more than a nearby travelodge and thought the service for price ratio was very good.

We got placed in what we speculated used to be an office or a smoking room converted to a nonsmoking room. The room was very small and the bathroom even smaller. Showering with the curtain closed was not an option unless perhaps you are a child. I don't know if all the rooms were like this or only the one that we got (which was the cheapest). The good stuff is the location. It is right on the water with beautiful views as well as very close to tourist attraction such as liverpools wheel and the beetles museum. It is also not a far walk to bars an shops toward the center of town. Overall it is worth it to stay there for the location if you are staying for a short time.

Excellent two night break- lovely, friendly staff and superb facilities Kids ate free in the evening- still a bit pricey though Pool/Spa great- kids swam for ages whilst we lounged around in the whirlpool Only thing which would have improved our stay would have been more affordable breakfast

Wasn't impressed with the staff at this hotel. We were informed at reception that the pool was open until 9.00 p.m. for children, only to be told rather rudely to leave the pool area at 8.00 p.m. (ten minutes after arriving at the pool). I then ordered room service for 1 child's meal which took almost an hour and then they phoned at 11.00 p.m. (when […] we were asleep), to leave the tray outside - which we had already done. on arriving at the hotel was so happy with the service we got until we arrived into our room which was a family 2 double beds which were very close together a lovely big window with beautiful view only prob was the window was screwed shut which was not good as my daughter was feelin unwell ...........
""Couldn't swing a cat""
The room was crammed with 2 double beds with only one locker in between therefore nowhere for the second person in the same double bed to place a glass of water, watch, phone, etc. You couldn't leave the ironing board out as there was no space to walk by it. I got excited when checking in and heard the receptionist say there's no standard room left […] but I would have preferred a standard room with one bed and a bit of space. My Friday morning 7am alarm call came a day late via the TV and that was on the Saturday morning when I'd actually set my phone to wake up at 9am. Grrrrr ! The breakfast was good with lots of choice. Gorgeous hotel, comfortable, lovely staff. breakfast was fantastic!! Only thing was the beds were a bit hard, maybe because they were new. and you couldnt open the windows, but everything else was perfect.

It is unacceptable for big lorries being outside of the hotel and loading and unloading stuff at 8.30 a.m. Some people stay at the hotel to rest - relax.

Sunday morning 22.03.09, Anfield was on the horizon for two expectant travellers from the west coast of Ireland. Hotel was booked but was not at the forefront of the weekend plans! However, upon arrival from the moment of checking in to check out on Tuesday it can only be described as fabulous. Beautiful room, comfortable bed, big flat screen telly, […] sumptious bath robes everything that you could want in a hotel room. The customer service levels were outstanding from all members of staff, nothing was too much trouble and it was genuine! A rare commodity today. And just when you thought it couldn't get better along comes the harbour club with pool, spa pool, steam room and sauna! an absolute delight especially after a night out on the town! Although no residents bar which was a bit disappointing! It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay for the two nights and would highly recommend it to all. i rang the hotel prior to arriving to arrange a bottle of champagne to be left in my room,the wrong bottle was left and the staff not very helpful in trying to rectify there mistake,the manager on duty referred to himself as duty manager,still dont know his name. lounge service was very slow,the hotel was not busy and yet we couldnt get any member of […] staff to come take our order.eventually when i went to the bar to order, it took half an hour for two sandwhichs to arrive.this service happened repeatly throughout our stay, with a 10% service charge added to all bills.wat a disgrace..customer care??? We only stayed one night but were quite impressed with the hotel... in a good spot close to Albert Dock and easy reach of the more central part of Liverpool. Breakfast was fantastic. Great value for money!!

It would appear that all the rooms are the same size apart form the suites. Theses standard and executive rooms are okay but just that - okay. We upgraed to a suite overlooking the Liver building and this was the best move we made. The hotel is now a bit tired and will need refurb in the next couple of years. We stayed 3 nights ,and used the restaurant on the thursday evening we didnt eat there again not very good
road works outside, and the beans were cold at breakfast, £3.50 for a bottle of water. but a very clean hotel

Not a bad hotel but cost of food was high for the small size of food given. Guests should have free parking Some cob webs around window & curtain area which was a turn off. Staff where very helpful and nice to deal with

What a fabulous hotel!! We found the hotel easy to find in busy pea hour traffic and very comfortable beds with good dining facilities-just wish they would incorporate the ten pound car park cost into the cost-excellent hotel chain.

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza and everything was fantastic! From the warm, welcoming and very helpful staff to the great facilities and really nice room! The food was fantastic, the cocktails were great and the leisure centre was just what I needed after a hard day's work! The only downside was the cooked breakfast, which I felt was a tad […] over priced, although after getting a good discount on here it didn't make much difference, plus there are many other places in the area if you didn't want to make the 'investment' in breakfast at the Crowne Plaza! nice location, nice hotel with good staff. the pool area is great but the changing rooms were a mess this was not the fault of the staff but the people using them. the room was good but should have free wifi for the price of a nights stay, overall a good hotel I have stayed here a number of times and will do so againg in future

"The hotel is very close to docks"
Very friendly staff, very clean rooms with lots of extras as standard ie bathrobes, choc, still and sparkling water, body moisturers to name but a few. Breakfast starts at 6.30 which was great as we had an early start and again couldnt fault a thing. Bar food menu was very good and was served till 11 at night
