Crowne Plaza Liverpool - Liverpool

This was our second stay in a Crowne Plaza hotel. Check-in was very quick and efficient. Our room was on the fourth floor with nice views over the river. We would say that facilities were up to the standard for this class of hotel. Just a few minor points we put on the comments form i) would have been nice to have more hangers for clothes, and more […] hooks to hang wet towels ii) the TV could'nt pick up BBC4, but then you don't go on holiday to watch telly ! Free Wi-Fi access (and a desktop terminal - unfortunately broken at the time) is available in the lounge area. Hotel service was excellent. We did'nt use the restuarant during our stay as we preferred to venture out. The reception staff were able to recommend some very good places within a 10-15 walk. Really nice hotel in a fantastic location in the city center. - within 5 mins walk of the central shopping districts. Breakfast was top notch and the staff very very friendly and professional ...... that's the good news. Now for the bad news, unfortunately the room we were in developed a leak in the bathroom which soaked the floor in our room and everything […] on it (including bags with clothes in them). I discovered this on the 1st night of our stay around 1am and the duty manager came to confirm the leak damage. There was no other rooms available so we just had to ride it out until 8am when the plumbers arrived and managed to stop the leak. So no real sleep on the first night and no lie in the following morning .. I have 3 young kids and this was supposed to be my recharging the batteries break .. the events of the first/night morning ruined any chance of that. To be fair to the hotel they did give us some money for drinks/food and washed the clothes that had beensoaked the night before. However as 1 full night and morning was ruined out of a 2 night trip I was expecting a little more from such an established name as Crowne Plaza. I am a seasoned round the world business traveller with a large Amercian corporation and would have expected a free nights accomodation to have been offered from any large hotel chain for this level of interuption. They did move us to a different room but this was directly across from the elevators so a lot of noise outside the room the next morning and the last chance of a lie-in gone. So a very nice hotel with great staff and fantastic location but with a fairly poor response to a customers trip being significantly ,I'm giving them a low score. Read more

A very well presented, comfortable and conveniently located hotel. Can't recommend it highly enough. Staff were polite and efficient, sometimes overly so. At dinner the food was really excellent quality and well presented but I didn't enjoy the constant attention from staff - although you can't fault their enthusiasm.

My family stayed in this Hotel for a week and it was great. Excellent location near the Albert Docks and Liverpool One Shopping Centre. The breakfast was good and staff were very friendly and supportive. Would definitely recommend this Hotel.

Hotel good staff very friendly only downside was £9 parking fee which is a first for hotel resident

I stayed in this hotel before so I thought it would be ok. I was totally wrong. The room we were staying in was right next door to housekeeping and we were woken up every morning from about 8 with the banging & moving of stuff around. Also the pillows in the rooms were like rocks & i couldnt sleep on them. We were kept waiting for 45mins for our dinner […] on Sunday night & when it came it was so not worth the money we paid for it. For breakfast two mornings we had to wait up to 20 mins for a table & then when you eventually got in we had to wait for the food. Overall I have to say i was very disappointed with the hotel & would not stay there again. It was suppose to be a 4star hotel. No way did it compare to that. Read more

Fantastic hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were a decent size and very clean and tidy. The pool in the hotel is a brilliant size just wish we would have had the time to go in it!!! We would definately go to this hotel again in the future.

Staff were friendly, helpful & professional. Hotel was smart, rooms excellent. Breakfast was good quality, well-cooked & coffee was prompt. Have recommended hotel to friends & would love to return.

Four of us stayed at CP before a concert at the Echo Arena. Excellent location & the hotel facilities - check-in / room / breakfast - where all outstanding. Would definitely stay there again.

This was our first visit to Liverpool. Hotel was near to Albert Dock, Beatles Story and Liverpool 1. We parked our car up for the weekend and easily walked everywhere. Hotel parking charges were reasonable. There are tour buses very close if you prefer and also boats on the Mersey. Hotel was nice, clean and staff friendly. Breakfast had massive choice […] on buffet, as good as we've had anywhere. Swimming Pool and Leisure Club at the hotel were excellent. Nice views of Mersey from hotel room window. We visited both the old Cathedral and the new RC one, also Cavern Club. Odean cinema around 15 minutes walk away. Shopping very good and plenty of choice. People were very friendly and helpful wherever we went. An excellent weekend away, would recommend both Liverpool and the Crowne Plaza and would certainly visit again. Read more

Veldig hyggelig betjening. Bra rom, god frokost (om ikke overdådig), gratis internet. Under 10 min gange inn til Liverpool One. Bra hotell til overkommelig pris. Bor der gjerne igjen!

Topp hotell for både store og små,treningsrom og baseng og herlig engelsk frokost. Ja her kommer vi igjen..

Herligt hotel som ligger kun 5-10minutter gange fra Liverpool One, Radio tower. Treningsstuio og basseng er supert

Svært godt fornøyd med oppholdet på Crowne Plaza - knall beliggenhet og utmerket service gjør at vi absolutt kommer til å booke rom på dette hotellet igjen ved senere turer til Liverpool.

Super lækkert hotel rigtig go´ morgenmad og hele liverpooli absolut gå afstand.

Excellent location within walking distance to major attractions, large, clean rooms offering good value for money, and a superb fitness area (large window front with harbour views).

Ett veldig bra hotell, dit skal vi igjen. Et lite minus.... var ett dårlig klima anlegg på vårt rom. Ble fryktelig varmt om natta.

ホテルに子どもも泳げる深さのプールがあり、小学生の息子を連れての旅だったので、飽きずに滞在できました。リバプールワンというショッピングセンターへも徒歩10分弱、アルバートドックへも15分程度で歩けます。川に面していて朝はとても清々しかったです。ホテルのスタッフもフレンドリーでした

Como cualquier Hotel en UK, mi crítica es hacia el Café. Obvio que estamos en UK, pero mucha clientela del Hotel es Europeo e Internacional donde el café que nos gusta es el tradicional tipo Expresso. Deberían tener esta alternativa en pleno siglo XXI al café Inglés.

Sentralt med god service. Ikke siste gang for besøk.

Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dem Hotel selbst fehlt der gewisse Charme. Die Zimmer gegen die Strasse sind sehr schlecht abgedichtet. Die Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen um durchzulüften. Betten und (vorallem) Kissen waren sehr unbequem, haben nicht wirklich gut geschlafen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut, typisches English-Breakfast sowie auch […] 'normale' Sachen. Kaffee ist bekanntlich sehr schlecht und für einen nicht Filterkaffe aus der Maschiene muss man extra zahlen! Das Hotel ist ok für einen kurzen Städtetrip aber nicht mehr. Read more

Hotel très bien placé; a 2 pas de Albert dock et du centre ville. acceuil agréable mais le personnel multilingue ne parle pas un mot de français... la chambre: très confortable mais très bruyante (la 1ère nuit nous n'avons quasiment pas dormis car nos voisins anglais complèment bourrés ont hurler jusqu'à 4 heures du matin. Le Breakfast continental: […] rien à envier au petit déjeuner français. Dommage pour un 4 étoiles. C'était le cadeau d'anniversaire que j'avais fait à mon amie et pour ma part je suis très déçue de cet hotel. Par contre nous reviendront à Liverpool car c'est une ville très agréable et nous n'avons pas encore fait le tour. Read more

Hotellet har hyggelig en betjening med en god serviceinnstilling. Frokostbuffeten var som forventet, med aviser tilgjengelig. Fint at det er mulig å benytte utearealer i hotellets "bakgård". Og det er et fint utgangspunkt for turer langs Mersey River. Vår eneste anmerkning til hotellet er at hotellrommenes vinduer er blokkert og dermed ikke kan åpnes. […] Dette er av sikkerhetshensyn, da hotellet ligger ved vannet og det ofte er sterk vind der. Det at det er umulig å åpne vinduene gjør at en føler seg litt "innestengt", og en må orke å leve med å høre på aircondition-anlegget. Jevnt over et hotell med bra standard og service. Read more

Vi fick ett kannonrum på fjärde våningen med utsikt över St Nikolas place och Mersey. Frukostbufen var precis som vi vill att den ska vara.

I have been traveling a lot, so this hotel was nothing to get exited about, but there was nothing to complain about either. Reception staff was friendly and helpful.

Bra hotel med glimrende beliggenhet ved Albert Dock, Liverpools svar på Aker Brygge. Nær Liverpools største restaurant og shopping område. 5 minutter i taxi fra Liverpool Lime Street togstasjon.

Meget velfungere hotell med meget sentral beliggenhet, god service, hyggelige ansatte. Flott rom, bra trykk i dusjen, første dusj i England med bra trøkk i? :-) Neste Liverpooltur booker jeg rett på dette hotellet....

Ett utmärkt hotell med stor och bra frukost. Tänk på att om man har ett familjerum (4 pers) och väljer att köpa rum inkl. frukost, så får man bara 2 st frukost och man får köpa till 2 st. Bra läge på hotellet, lungt och ändå nära till centrum.

Dette var et veldig bra hotell som lå fint til ift shopping. Treningssenteret var også bra, og barna koste seg i svømmebassenget.
