"It is what it is...."
The price is probably the biggest asset. The young girl who checked us in was extremely helpful (sadly, don't recall her name). However, beyond that they were somewhat none existent - hiding in the office, I suppose. Maid service was slated once a week, but if you needed extra towels, sheets, etc.. you could get them. Only amenities of note were a combination fitness room (no great shakes) and a laundry room. The "Continental Breakfast" was pedestrian, but there. Location and access to major highways was a plus. A shopping mall directly accross the street was also convenient. Basicly, it suites the purpose, but will not blow you away. Forgot to mention there is a pool ( stayed in Dec, so not much use for it unless you are a member of the Polar Bear club...)

The place is depressing and not well maintained. They don't provide towels or room cleaning for a two night stay. Should not be listed as an option for people looking for a regular hotel. Beware.

This hotel is little above for what i could expect for a sleep and go hotel. Besides of the tabacco smells in the hall, the bedroom was clena and smell free.

"value for money"
Finding the hotel from BOS airport was easy, 30 min drive with a $3.50 toll charge on the way. Friendly lady at the check-in and her instructions to near-by, brilliant italian restaurant made the stay flawless. Room was functional although being quite small. There was no noise during night which is one of hotel's advantage compared to many closer to downtown. Good value for money.

"Good and bad"
There are two hotels called Extended Stay America in the Woburn area of Boston. We went to the wrong one by mistake, but the very nice young man on the front desk (Abdul) was most helpful and sorted us out.. When we eventually got to the right hotel we were told that although we had booked a non-smoking room (several months previously) none was available. The receptionist was apologetic, but the smoking room we got was very unpleasant.

"Great new chain"
I'd never heard of this chain before but their price was fabulous considering the rooms. Clean, new and comfortable. It was modern, all-equipped, full kitchen, extended bathroom, leather couch and beautifully modern renovation. They also have a lovely courtyard to work and enjoy the sun out back, with wi-fi. The staff were GREAT and extremely helpful with my few special requests. I cannot thank them enough.

"Everything was great except the sheets"
The rooms are very small, but the place is very clean and the people could not have been nicer. Our only complain was the bedding. The sheets were very rough, must have had a lot of polyester in them and I had trouble sleeping because of that. I moved to the sleeper sofa and those sheets were more comfortable, Maybe there were older and washed many times to soften them. The hotel is easy to get to, places across the street to shop, nice pool and barbeque outside. Great value for the money.

"Great Experience. Far from Boston"
Very nice and clean hotel. Very spacious room, with more than the escentials, including a huge tv. The staff was friendly and helpful. Things you need to know: Enter the city into Amtrak South Station, then use the comunal train ($7) It is far away from the city, unless you rented a car, you will need to get a cab ($7-$14) and then a train ($7) to get into Boston to go back into the City.

"Enjoyed our stay"

Our family stayed for eight nights and enjoyed having a kitchen. Allowed us to cook meals when we wanted. The kids enjoyed the pool. Free wifi in the rooms. Very clean hotel and rooms. Laundry facilities on site. We had a ground floor room so no lugging of purchases up the stairs. Would recommend the hotel to others.

""Urban housing association""
08/01/15 Ciue124
This hotel is used by the urban housing association as a shelter. But don't worry, you'll still get second hand weed smoke smell coming through the walls at night and through the bathroom vents. Shower is dirty and doesn't drain. Put in a service call on a Thursday, we were told the maintenance guy wasn't in again until Monday - so we were forced to take a shower in ankle deep water filled with someone else's bodily gunk (hair/black chunks of whatever). There were lipstick marks on the towels. As well as other stains. A roll of gym brown paper towels are less scratchy than these towels. Speaking of, the gym consists of 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, and 1 bike. You'll have an audience to keep you motivated as the gym is a shared space with the laundry room (4 washers/4 dryers - $2/each). When we arrived we asked for the "kitchen accessories", the front desk attendant handed my husband a Tupperware bin of plastic cups and dirty old silverware/pots to bring up to our room. Don't count on the coffee maker for normal coffee - you need 4 cup filter pods. There is an awful smell that comes from the cabinets. The freezer is filthy and is lined with dirty ice. The wifi is so slow that you are forced to purchase the "upgraded" internet package for about $1/day. The TV swivels from couch to bed (did I mention there's no where to eat? Oh yeah, enjoy the plastic couch and falling apart coffee table for dining), which consists of 35 channels - 3 are in Spanish. But no worries! Your kids can easily access the soft core porn on Showtime 2. Don't bother bringing your Apple TV or other wifi streaming device for any sort of Netflix salvation - it can't connect! Oh, and if you want to hardwire it like its 1999, don't bother... They disconnected those ports. The pool never sees daylight and is controlled by the local trucker pedophiles. Enjoy your stay!

"Enjoyed my stay"
06/19/15 Dragan A Gatineau, Canada
We spent two days here on our visit to Boston and it was better than adverised. The rooms are very clean and provide for flexible stay, there isna fridge, stovetop and even a dishwasher. There is a supermarket very close, almost accross the street and there's also a liquer store in that mall. Boston was a short drive so it was very convenient. The breakfast could be better, but it'll give you some fuel for the day and it's just an extra for a very fair price. Overall I'd recommend it to anybody visiting Boston.

"Very disappointed"
06/14/15 swinn1999
I had two rooms reserved, one for my parents and one for my family. The first night, we did laundry and bubbles came out of the hose on both top-load washers. The next morning, the toilet in my parents' room was clogged. When they informed the front desk, they were told that every room has its own plunger. Their room did not and neither did mine. When they informed the front desk of their inability to find a plunger, the clerk shrugged her shoulders and said they didn't have any, then and sent them back to their room with a clogged toilet. The second night, because our room was not cleaned, I went to ask for more washcloths, only to be to they didn't have any more. The hotel is less than half full, so there are extra washcloths available...they are just in other rooms. Not to mention that when I reserved the room, I reserved it for three people and there were only two washcloths originally. So, I guess that if every room was booked, there would have to be a raffle for washcloths.

"Basics were fine but WiFi is SLOW"
04/08/15 greymont Belfast, Maine
The room, bathroom, etc was just fine and the kitchenette is a nice feature if you are inclined to cook. Plenty of parking and access is easy. Most negatives are: 1) Towels are the scratchiest I have experienced in months of travel 2) WiFi is too slow to stream videos and questionable for heavy remote work 3) Breakfast is skimpy (granola bars, fruit, instant oatmeal)

"What a dissapointment"
04/07/15 sophysdad Maine
I travel from business weekly, so I stay in a lot of hotels. I got priced out of my regular boston hotel, so I thought this would be a nice change. A kitchen means I could eat healthier. Unfortuntely, this is the only real positive I can give for this hotel. The hotel in general: The lobby is clean and nice, but the help behind the desk is far from helpful. The girl that I dealt with most of the time acted like it was a chore to help me. She never once smiled and when I voiced my dissapointment, she acted like she couldn't care less. The hotel still has smoking rooms so the halls smell like smoke and the elevator was almost unbearable. The breakfast that is supposed to be available at 6 am was not out by 6:15 when I had to leave. There was also no one at the front desk to find out if there would be any breakfast. I was also not notified at checkin that there would be no housekeeping for the entirety of my stay. Just plain horrible service. The room: The bed is rock hard. The comforter is old and worn. The towels are like sandpaper. Make sure you bring your own soap and shampoo if you stay more than a couple nights as it will not be replenished.

"Disappointment"
03/30/15 karin n Scarborough, Maine
The wifi wasn't working and it took over 1 hour on phone at front desk to remediate. Hair in bathtub and the pull out sofa had crumbs from previous guests under cushions and was thin and lumpy. I thought a hot breakfast was included, but it's granola bars and apples. No milk for coffee, only flavored sweetened pump stuff. I regret not leaving. You can get a suite in Andover with hot breakfast for same $ with 2 real beds.

"NOISY!"
03/21/15 300_Nights_A_Year Danville, Indiana
I was booked through my employer for a 7-night stay at this property, and was concerned about the potential noise based on several reviews. When I checked in, I voiced my concern to the desk agent, as I would be working for the week, and would need to sleep well each night. The agent assured me that she would put me in a room on the uppermost floor "away". I was thrilled that she understood my need for quiet, and went to the room looking forward to a peaceful stay. Less than 10 minutes after I entered the room, I heard the elevator chime from 75 feet down the hall, as the door to the room was mounted poorly in the frame. There is a gap all the way around the door itself, allowing every sound to transmit right into the room as though there is no door present at all. In addition, the floor in the hallway just outside room 326 is poorly constructed, shaking the floor under the bed, and making the door rattle in the frame. I was also apparently the only person in the building who understood how to close the door without slamming it, and the only person who walked using more than my heels. It was 7 days in a zoo, with the only viable time for sleep between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM, when most people appeared to go elsewhere to get drunk. Everyone would then return to the hotel about the time normal folks would go to sleep and stomp up and down the hallways yelling and beating on the walls. Every door that was opened would be slammed, and every footfall felt as though it was happening next to my bed. At one point, one drunken fool stood outside my window cooking hot dogs on the grill and drinking beer after beer while yelling into his cell phone for more than an hour as the temperature fell below freezing and the snow fell around him. Another man whose bellowing voice sounded like Homer Simpson complaining about work yelled through my wall directly behind the headboard for several hours for the first 4 nights of my stay. At least three dog owners insisted on parking them outside the window and prompting them to bark at all hours, and they all seemed to have rooms requiring them to pass by my door and bark through my wall every time they went outside. All hotels should be required to post prominent noise level figures for their rooms both on their websites and at their locations to warn travelers of potential problems before they spend hundreds of dollars for miserable sleep. It has aged me 10 years being here for a week, and I still have to survive one more night.... In addition, I asked about the paid wifi being transferrable if I purchased the upgraded (almost normal) speed package for one month, as I would be staying for 7 days at this location, as well as 2 additional days the following week at another ESA and hated to pay the weekly or daily rates for a service that should really be free at any hotel in 2015. The desk agent said that that was not possible, so I suffered through the week with connection speeds on par with dial-up from the mid 90's. Wifi speeds should also be very clearly posted on a hotel's website, as well as at the front desk in clear view of potential clients, just as any other potential selling point.

"Just north of Boston"
02/22/15 gary91214 La Crescenta, California
Boston is a tough town to navigate but if you have a car it is best to stay just a few minutes north of the city. I have been to Woburn before and this hotel fits the bill perfectly. While it isn't a fancy hotel it has everything one could want. The room was clean and well appointed and the hotel staff was helpful and pleasant.

"great value"
09/02/14 Edwin L Scarboroujgh ON
Comfortable, clean and friendly staff. Great value for the money. Couple of downfalls was limited transportation to and from Boston Centre and awful free wi-fi! Not much to see in his neighbourhood, at lest none that I had been made aware of. Went for a walk in the area, there was a supermarket, drugstore and a few restaurants within walking distance. There were some nice older homes in the neighbourhoodand access to the highways (freeways was close by)! I did find the hotel a little hard to find.
