"horrible noisy hotel"
Horrible! We were only staying for one night and was not expecting much except a place to sleep for the night. The hotel was in a congested part on downtown and difficult to access. $30+/ day for valet. Fire department was on scene when we checked in around 930 pm and it was crowded with children and chaos everywhere due to a cheerleading convention. […] Hotel was on lock down and very noisy the entire stay. Beds uncomfortable, room disheveled, broken lamp shade not replaced, wet carpet----unacceptable! Upon checking out we told the receptionist it was a noisy night for us and she laughed in our faces! Would not stay here ever again!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is located in the hotel district of Downtown Atlanta. Easy access to public transportation and restaurants. The downside was the sink and bathtub was clogged up a little bit.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"I would stay there again"
A real bargain close to our clients. Enjoyed the stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wknd at the Doubletree with Family and friends"
Everyone enjoyed their stay here. Only issue is the way you have to park for valet. The parking is awkward because the hotel sits in a corner spot on the street. If this can be corrected then everything would be perfect.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I loved it! It was 2 blocks or so away from The Tabernacle and right next to the Marta (I think that's what it was called). Also, my room balcony was within looking distance of the Ferris Wheel. Very nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I came in town for my bday on my bday! The guy at the desk was cool. When he saw it was my bday he upgraded me to a suite. If I had to complain it would be the forced valet parking, but them guys were very nice also! Overall great place and I would be back if I'm in Atlanta!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My husband and I enjoyed our stay, staff was very friendly and nice. I would definitely stay again..valet did scrape my husband rims on his car but overall everything else was fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It's a DoubleTree in name only..NOT IN SPIRIT!!"
Liked: The Location! Plenty to see & do, was close to Atlantic Station for work & staff was very friendly and accommodating. Disliked: Forced Valet Parking @ $30 a night Paper thin walls!! I was on the 4th floor and I could literally hear every single conversation anyone had clearly! If you are a light sleeper don't stay here. No sound dampening at […] all!! NO FREE WIFI!!! 12.99 a Day?!! What place doesn't offer free WIFI these days? Fortunately for me I just tethered my phones data plan. Problem solved. I use PDANet for those wondering how I did it. Breakfast was 19.99 and wasn't all that great! I could of gone to McDonalds and had better for a 4th of the price. The nice staff just can't overcome the sheer inconvenience of this hotel. I won't be staying there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I have no complaints about this hotel. Service was great. Loved the 2 guys Lucas and Zach who were there when we arrived. They were so nice and kind. Nice hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"warning: your car Is not, safe"
valet parking what's the worst experience I have ever experienced going to a hotelGenuine Hotels.com guest review
the valet parking was a little far fetched ($30). Hotel service was so-so. Didn't get much sleep due to the rowdy people in the room next to us. Then as soon as morning hit, kids were screaming in the halls and just more ruckus continued. Beds were stiff too. wouldve rather slept with the homeless in the city.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was OK. Doors don't shut quietly, so throughout the night you'd hear a door bang down the hallway. Some paint peeling, needs a bit of a facelift. But it's close to the convention center and CNN.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Our stay at the Doubletree was decent for one night. The check-in process was quick. The room was clean and had a comfy feeling. The view was nice too. My only problem is the way you have to pull up to the entrance. It's in an awkward spot, but other than that I was pleased.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The hotel room did not even have a microwave oven. The coffee machine in the room was also pathetic.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Doubletree by Hilton Downtown Atlanta"
I stayed 3 nights. The front desk staff was adequate. The valets were nice. Housekeeping was very pushy and also half assed. I waited 2 hours for washcloths and conditioner! My door was basically broken, I had to slam it closed. Otherwise, very close proximity to CNN Center. View was of another hotel. Overall 3.5 stars ! Thanks:)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel, BUT I would NOT stay here again"
$30 required Valet parking. Self parking requires walking in the cold and getting the car out of the spot at 6AM. I did not like that at all. Security came and told me that I was being too loud - after only being there 30 mins and getting ready for bed - NOT being loud at all. Staff was great and room was great - but the first couple things turned me […] off. Oh, and you need a room key to get on the elevator, so the 2 guests I had over, I had to keep going up and down to get them. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great stayGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel rooms were in poor condition. Did not get King room that we requested. We were told they only had doubles available. Would not book here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was fine. The hotel is in a great location. The beds are comfy. The only issues we had were the street noise and the fact that the curtains would not close at all so the room was very bright.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't stay here"

"thin walls noisy rooms"
Paper thin walls. You can hear everything going on in the rooms and hallway all night long. We got little sleep here. The breakfast buffet is very overpriced. The valet parking is convenient. The location is convenient. The balcony is nice but the doors did not block the street noises. Good luck getting rest. "housekeeping was out of control"
I arrived at 1pm so I had to wait until 1:30 to actually get a room. The most disappointing thing about this stay was that housekeeping knocked on my door 3 different times before 11am. Keep in mind that check out is at 12. I felt rushed to hurry up and vacate the room. They also deactivate your room key at 11am so you have to get it restored if you […] leave your room for any reason. I paid $189.00 a night plus an additional $30.00 a day for parking. Oh yeah, and they hold an additional $50.00 a night on your credit card for insurance purposes. This was by far the worst DoubleTree ever. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice and in a perfect location"
The only bad part was I wasn't aware of valet parking at $30 a night until I arrived. The staff was excellent and the rooms were clean and very comfy you just have to make sure you have the money to stay there because the food and drinks are very expensive.Genuine Expedia guest review

Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Execellent location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I registered the room in the name of my daughter and her friend (girl friend). When they arrived it was listed in one named but they used the first name of one girl and the last name of another. I registered for double beds and they were assigned a king size bed. It was corrected. It should be noted that when you are going thru a third party that a […] deposit is required. I did not know that. Once straightened out everything was fine. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"The worst hotel experience of my life."
My stay was terrible. We had to pay for internet by the hour. We overpaid for the hotel and they did not provide continental breakfast not to mention we had to pay $30 for Daily parking. That should have been included. Ive enjoyed other hotels that were alot cheaper. I feel like we only paid forvthe name. I caution anyone who goes to this hotel. I promise […] you,ll be broke by the end of the night. We absolutely hated this hotel. It was the worst experience of my life! Only thing thing they offered us were two free cookies. "Where's My Cookies?"
Worst doubletree I've ever visited.. Check my account I've stayed at a few and this particular site wasn't up to par... No warm cookie and sheets had holes.. Toilet backed up on us.. AND IT WAS OUR ANNIVERSARY...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This was my first trip to Atlanta. The hotel staff was awesome! Parking seemed to be the only issue but I quickly found it is a city wide difficultly. When traveling to this area a small car is highly recommended to all my fellow travelers. In any case our room at the double tree was wonderful those warm cookies given to us by the check in staff hit […] the spot. We walked out on to the balcony before relaxing in our super comfy bed and the view of the city is just breathtaking. And the jetted bath tub is a perfect way to end a long day of travel. "Hilton in name only. Disappointed. Amazing staff"
From the outside, the hotel is magnificent. The location is fantastic and I can't begin to praise the staff (especially the valets) enough. Unfortunately, the staff was the only part of the overall experience that separated the Doubletree Hilton from an Econolodge. We arrived and the room we reserved (King bed) was not available. We had to accept 2 […] queen-sized beds. In addition, our room did not have a balcony as we were led to believe. The view from our room was stunning, but it would have been much more enjoyable had we been able to step out on the balcony and enjoy the comfortable temps. We did not have the chance. The Hotels.com ad failed to draw attention to the inability to park our own car--fortunately I found out about this in the comments section. Even with the fantastic valet crew (you guys rock,) dropping 30 bucks a night to park is frustrating--especially when I had to do a lot of extra work (reading pages of comments) to discover it. The room was passable. The TV was small and looked outdated. There was no mini fridge nor DVD/BluRay player, and the bathroom was awful. The faucet on the tub was rusted and the connecting pipe could be easily seen since the faucet was pulled away from the wall. The WATER PRESSURE was horrible. Period. Regardless of showering in the morning, or in the evening, there was not enough water pressure to get the shampoo from our hair. Extremely annoying. This is not what I have come to expect from Hilton. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location if you're not trying to rest."
This isn't the hotel you go to if you want peace and quiet. Walls are unusually thin and you can hear EVERYTHING outside, next room, nearby, or even down the hall. Needs updating or at least a thorough carpet cleaning. Front desk & Valet people were pleasant. I didn't appreciate housekeeping complaining about me in front of me about my simple request […] of switching out coffee and remembering to give me towels in my room after cleaning. The rate appears to be great, but the time you pay for parking, wifi, and a soda, you would've paid just as much for a higher end hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The $30 valet fee is ridiculous, and very unorganized. The staff was very cocky. They acted as if they were better than guests. Got to my room to find out no refrigerator and no microwave. The room was so congested, the ac wouldn't go below 70 degrees. Cords were hanging out of the walls. The bathroom was TINY! The room could have atleast been spot […] painted. "Business trip to americas mart"
convient, staff very accommodating .....I had seen some negative reviews about this property and was hesitant to keep my reservation, but with that being said I am glad I did. The bellman was wonderful, took our bags in for storage not once but 2 times and was happy to do so. Front desk was speedy, no wait. The only thing I can say negative about this […] hotel is the lobby decor does not reflect positive. It really does need to be decorated in a style that reflects a little class. "Great proximity to AmericasMart"
Booked at last minute with great price and checked in 1 hr later. Was told it was less than 1/2 mile from AmericasMart when, in fact, it is across the street. Greeted with a smile and given cookies and room keys. Unfortunately when we went to the room, we were greeted by an overwhelming paint smell (the entire wing smelled of paint). Immediately called […] front desk and they apologized and said they would give us a new room. Very pleasant service overall! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
