The hotel is in a great location downtown. On the same block as Westlake Center and 1-2 blocks from Pacific Place Mall. Oliver's Lounge and the Alduca Restuarant are great.

This is an older style hotel, but very quaint, clean and comfortable. The standard rooms are small (bathroom is tiny), but they are very well appointed, clean and comfortable. This was a wonderful quaint hotel. The rooms were on the small size, but very clean and tastefully decorated. The location was key, and we were able to walk everywhere. Only complaint is the bed was very uncomfortable and during our stay there was one night of construction that kept us awake most of the night. The Mayflower Park Hotel was a rare combination of being a hotel with plenty of old-school character plus modern conveniences. It is an easy walk to the Convention Center and other downtown attractions. The bar is an oasis of civility and the cocktails are fantastic.

I read the reviews for this property and decided on it over the established chains. I am glad that I did. I was able to take the light rail from SEA-TAC and arrive just a block away. Downtown Seattle feels like an open-air mall--could not believe how many signature stores surround this hotel. Lots of opportunity to spend a lot of money here. The room was nicely appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The staff are very pleasant and take good care of you. I was on the 4th floor and my only regret is that I did not ask for a higher floor. My window looked out on the busy road below, and it could be quite noisy during the day. At night, there is very little traffic in this area, so noise levels did not interrupt sleep. But by 7 am the next morning, things were hopping, especially with public transportation buses creating quite a racket. Read more

Whenever we visit Seattle, we like to stay at the Mayflower Park. It's location is excellent in the mid-town, the rooms are clean and in very good condition, the staff are consistently helpful and courteous, it has excellent separate eating and bar/lounge facilities, and overall conveys an atmosphere of understated elegance.

Excellent hotel, It is right in the middle of downtown and is connected to the Westlake shopping center witch houses the monorail that takes you to the space needle and surrounding attractions. The hotel room and service was excellent as well; perfect hotel if you don't mind the antique hotel styling.

The hotel was just a couple of blocks from the light rail to the airport and was in the heart of the shopping district and close to good restaurants.. One could walk to Pike;s market and the ferry from there. The monorail to the Space Needle was a block away. The concierge was very helpful. Everything was great from the service to the convenience as it is close to Pike Place Market and other sites. It is a bit difficult to get to during rush hour. It took a bit to figure out how to get there during rush hour. 4th Avenue from the south or Stewart from the west seemed to work the best.

The 1 queen bed room I stayed was very clean, small but not too tight. There were only few electric outlets. They were hard to find with my senior vision if located at the dark corners. I had to move the coffee maker to the bathroom to use it. I understand it is historic hotel so there is less updated but if someone already plugged coffee maker to the […] outlet (with extension code), it gave me a hint to find an outlet and easier to make a cup of coffee. I did not try but you may be able to ask the front desk for the extension code with multiple outlets if you need to charge and use many gadgets. Wi-Fi was free of charge. It was close to the Westlake station if you take light-rail service from the airport. It seemed to be connected to the westlake shopping mall directly. Read more

We had such a lovely stay at the Mayflower! Everyone there was so helpful. The room was beautiful and comfortable. We had a wonderful breakfast in the hotel dining room -- almond-stuffed French toast was perfect! It is truly a beautiful building, it has all the right furniture for a weekend stay. It truly makes you feel like you pulling up in a Rolls Royce. However, I felt like such a establishment should have some type of offering for breakfast. It was a bit disheartening to learn that others that came for the convention stayed at similarily nice hotels that […] not only had working televisions but also had incredible continental breakfast....for FREE. The location of this hotel is great. We loved our room. View is okay... But that is not why we got this hotel room. We spent most of our time out and about. I didn't think the staff was very friendly at first, then quickly realized that it is just Seattle that is rude. I am used to more west coast style, laid back... Nice Hotel, Great Bar. Great Location. Parking was expensive but I think all of Seattle has this issue. Negatives are the walls are a ltitle thin, and cleaning staff needs to do a better job vacuming and checking under stuff. under the bed were some items left from previous people (a pen, a piece of candy, and some plastic trash). Did not appreciate the parking job by the valet. Cars wheel was pressed up against the curb and ebrake was not engaged. IMO it shows the lack of care for your vehicle.

A cockroach jumped out of my refrigerator. My tub drain was stained. My bathroom sink was stopped up. The carpet in my room was dingy. The shower was old. There was no creamer for my coffee. The lobby was tired. I waited 10 mins in the bar for a drink. I won't be back. I'm a designer I would love to give you input for improvements.

Good location. Close to many transit options. Attached to westlake mall but many shops are closed there. Staff was very good. A couple problems while we stayed there but were handled expeditiously. This is a beautiful historic hotel. It is well maintained and very clean. The the front desk staff and valet are cheerful and very helpful. The bar, Olivers, is a great place to relax and have a snack. In our room we had coffee and tea service as well as wine glasses and bottle opener. The beds are plush and comfortable.

The wireless signal was nearly nonexistent in my room and they were not able to improve the signal during my stay. A friend in another room had no issues accessing the internet, so this is not an issue in all areas of the building.
