Service at the front desk went above and beyond our expectations. They helped us get numbers for rental car places and provided us with everything we needed. Room looked new and modern, but did not have a microwave or fridge, but did have a coffee maker. Our TV's remote control was broken (the battery cover would not stay on), there was a used band-aid on the floor between the two beds, and a hair in one of the new bath towels. Also, I tried to make local calls from the room phone, but even though I followed the instructions on the phone, it kept giving me a busy signal. View from the room was scary (steep hill with roots). Overall, we were pleased by the service provided by the front desk, but all of the other things were a disappointment. Next time, we probably will go with a hotel that had a microwave/fridge and offered drinks and snacks in the lobby, even if it costs a little more. Cleanliness of a room is very important, and we were definitely grossed out by the used band-aid.

I needed an inexpensive room for a short say in Pittsburg. The room was small with one double bed, which was perfect for me. Bed was comfy, slept well. Only issues were one of the outlets didn't work so I had to plug a camera battery in the bathroom (no biggie) and the hair dryer did not work. When I told the front desk, they apologized and handed me a working one. The front desk peeps were very friendly and helpful with directions. I would recommend this place, at least for a solo traveler. It is convenient to downtown, Carnegie Mellon, University of Pittsburg, the cultural area and I'm sure to many places I don't even know about. Oh, FREE continental breakfast, too...with LOTS to choose from.

The room was very spacious. The breakfast was wonderful. The hotel was clean. Price was very reasonable for the accommodations. It is awkward to get to this hotel as it looks like you're driving behind store fronts. Don't stay here if you're looking for a beautiful view. You see the back of Kohls. But if you're more interested in the room, food, and comfort. You can't go wrong here.

A friend and I visited Pittsburgh for a weekend girls' getaway. Pittsburgh is a beautiful city! Hotel located right downtown. Can walk to pretty much any restaurant or bar. Not too busy for a downtown area. Hotel staff very friendly and informative. We had a toilet spill in our room that ran out onto the carpet and we were given a free upgrade to a suite right down the hall, without asking! Beds were confy. Very nice hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

I reserved a king single room. When I checked in they gave me a king-whirlpool room. That was okay and I assumed it was all they had. I wanted to take advantage of the whirlpool, after I captured and killed the centipeed that was in the tub, I filled it looking forward to some arthritis relief with the whirlpool. After filling this hugh thing, it didnt […] work! I also needed the hard line internet connection, which when I tried to use it, it did not work. By then it was late and I went to bed. Upon checkout I mentioned the above conditions and I was told that I didnt pay for a whirlpool room...what does that have to do with the pool not working and they are the ones who placed me in the room. They also threw their hands up and said they had nothing to do with the internet. I paid alot of money to stay there and I will not consider ever staying there again. Read more

This hotel is popular with gas drilling workers. For some reason they start their diesel trucks at 4:30AM and leave them idle for an hour or more before leaving. The sound is easily heard in the rooms. This practice may be understandable in the winter but hardly seems necessary when it was 60 degrees overnight. I stayed on May 31. We were very happy with our stay at the Comfort Inn, Meadowlands. The help was very friendly, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

The hotel was only about a mile away from everything. It was easy to get to and nice. We were a little upset the pool was broken when we were there because that is why we got the hotel. Other than that good experience!
