      This was such an awesome hotel. The manager on duty was so nice. So happy that Applebees was just a stones throw away. The beds were super comfortable and the breakfast hit the spot that morning. Next time we come down to the area we are staying at this hotel.

    The La Quinta was close to Calvary Baptist, where the N..C. Baptists' mission conference was held. Restaurants were plentiful in the area. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Free breakfast, with waffles, was tasty. A pleasant stay.

    It was good. The shower is dated and could be more attractive. The computer system in the lobby for guests needs to be updated. Needs to have word and powerpoint if I need to review documents. Yes there is a Fedex that open 24 hours downt he road that is open 24 hours to do this type of thing, but they charge an arm and a leg and this type of stuff […] on a computer should be available at a hotel. It's 2013 for crying out loud. Breakfast was ok. No warm breakfast. just cold things with little selection. Read more

    Was not happy that we had reserved a non-smoking room and where told that there was only a smoking room. Had to use air freshener. I feel that this is a very important request that should be taken seriously. Many people are allergic to cigarette smoke. The lady at the desk did not seem very concerned.

    I was traveling with my 2 year old and we stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The service was great and everyone was nice but the room left something to be desired. The building was smoke free but everyday I could smell smoke in my room. I guess they put families and pets on the same level for the noise and there were small dogs barking often waking us also […] the room stayed cold no matter how I adjusted the heater. Read more

    I was a little nervous about staying someplace with my dog. As it turned out there was a dog show in town while we were there. So lots of dogs all over. Would recommend this La Quinta to any pet owner or non pet owner.

    We found this hotel to be very quiet and comfortable. Clean with excellent and courteous service. This hotel is in a nice area of Winston Salem with endless shopping and Resturant possibilities. There are 3 GREAT Resturants within 500 feet of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks La Quinta!

    The beds were extremely comfortable. Our room was not vacuumed well. We found pieces of lent in the floor. The continental breakfast was nice, however the coffee was not tasty at all. There could have been choices for hot tea and perhaps some other fruit besides bananas and apples. The price for the room was good.

    It is not a luxurious hotel. It is good to stay one or two nights. The only observation is that the Lobby and The Kitchen are poorly organized. The kitchen, entrance and lobby are together. It does't look good.

    We loved the room and the area. I appreciated the pet walking area but would recommend lighting it at night as I did not see the trash can and doggie doodoo bags until morning. Apparently a few other guests missed it as well, by the evidence in the grass. I came prepared with my own bags.

    Staff was very accomodating and moved us to a room adjacent to our daughter's after a mix-up in giving her a room after we had arrived. We then were given a 10 percent discount card for dinner that night at a local restaurant we could walk to -- both were really appreciated.

We had just stayed at a Super 8 motel in Brookings, SD that was cleaner, nicer, and less expensive and had breakfasts that had hard boiled eggs and waffles (that you make) that had dietetic syrup available.     The bathroom had several hairs I guess from a previous guest. The shower rail was loose the shower curtain had mold and it was a lot of mold. The conditioner bottle had soap residual on it and looked like someone had already used it. The cleaners left pink soap/liquid residual around the toilet. The good part was that the break fast was good.

    Good place to stay for a couple of day to see the Winston Salem area. Accommodations were excellen tand price was reasonable; however, the breakfast bar needs to be upgraded with more choices, including fresh fruits. Pool area is small but pleasant.
