My new bride and I had a pleasant stay here. The condo we had was awesome and the tub is huge. When we come back to the Smokies, we will be staying here. The rooms are costly but hey we are on vacation. great place to stay.

A few of my friends and I met up here for a girls' weekend. We had a great time here at Laurel Point. The condo was clean with plenty of room for us. The room was clean and had all the amenities you could want. The condo had plenty of extra blankets and plenty of towels and pool towels for all of us. We would definitely stay here again!

Cherokee Grand Hotel is located in Cherokee, NC adjacent to Harrah’s Cherokee Casino. Come stay with us and you can choose to take a leisurely 5 minute walk to the Casino, take our complimentary shuttle on Friday and Saturday nights until midnight, or just drive over and use valet or park in the parking deck at the casino. Stay with us and you will be in close proximity to some great food and great entertainment!

About Our Rooms
Our hotel features spacious rooms with many having beautiful mountain views. We offer several amenities including a free continental breakfast, free wireless internet access, free local calls and free parking. Each room has cable offering over 30 channels with a 32 inch color TV, mini-fridge, microwave, in-room coffee, iron/ironing board, and hairdryers. We also offer triple sheet bedding bedding with a down comforter in most rooms. We also have a few Jacuzzi rooms and connecting/adjoining rooms

We are also very close to the historical attractions of the Cherokee Indian Reservation, including the Indian Village, Outdoor Drama, Museum of the Cherokee and downtown souvenir shopping. We have a meeting/conference room available for your business needs. There is a fireplace located in the lobby for your comfort. Our Front Desk is open and staffed for 24 hour service and our housekeeping staff takes extra care to provide a clean and comfortable stay.

I was pleased with the room and the wi-fi. The small fridge and microwave were very nice plusses. Short walk to the casino is a nice advantage! I don't ask for much in a hotel room, a place to shower and sleep, but I really liked what I got at the Cherokee Grand. I will definitely stay there again!

It was advertised as "across the street" from Harrah's Casino. It is not. 15 to 20 minute walk. Days Inn and Fairfield Inn are across the street. We paid $104.00/night. Harrah's had a rate of $79 and is 10 times better Hotel. Clean but old.

It was the first time staying there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I really liked the fact that they have a refrigerator and microwave. Some places do not have these. There is a shuttle to the casino. The comp breakfast was very diverse. I'd stay there again.

My Husband and i recently stayed here, i read some of the reviews before we booked and there were some bad and some good, the bad ones made me a little nervous to begin with, but you cant please everyone in this world and the good reviews out weighed the bad so we went ahead and booked, and we are certainly glad we did! The staff were very respectful […] and welcoming, the hotel just had a nice clean smell as soon as you walked in the lobby,the room was nice and clean, the bed was a little stiff for my liking but that's personal preference, they shuttle back and forth to casino at the top of every hour...and even offer to come get you whenever your ready just have to call. Inn is part Hotel & part motel. Stayed in motel part. Bathroom was very small, there was only 2 hangers in the room for 2 people. Walls in bathroom had stains on them. Towels & washcloths were very thin. One night came in around dark. There was workmen working on the outside of the building. They kept turning off & on a machine that made a lot of noise. We found this hotel to be conveniently located just a couple blocks from the casino which was good for our friends who like to gamble and for us as they had lots of restaurant choices in the casino. Our only problem was that after we had dinner in the casino, we tried to call for pick up by the hotel van but did not get an answer so we had to walk back. […] The distance wasn't a big deal but it was dark and we worried about getting mugged. The rooms were clean, the hotel was decorated in Native American style in the lobby and hallways. It was very satisfactory, the room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and welcoming. it was close to restaurants and the casino. We will stay there again!

Everything was great here EXCEPT the continental breakfast was awful. First there wasn't any bowls for the cereal, had to wait 10 min. for clerk to get them, very poor selection for toast. No fruit available, only two kinds of cereal, both sweet. The coffee wasn't very hot. We had to stop on way out of town to eat breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and over the top friendliness of all of the employees. Ira was the quintessential host, greeting all who walked through the door, with charm and good will. I would recommend this venue for future stays.

my room was clean and comfortable....the shuttle to the casino was very nice. The continental breakfast was a little sparse.... I suspect other guests cleaned it out pretty quickly in the first hour and the food did not get re-filled before we had to leave for things we had planned that day. We come early so our room was not ready for complete check-in and staff was more than willing to accommodate us to another room. We waited for our original room but the fact they are willing means a lot to us. The room was clean and plenty of room for our family to move around. What a wonderful place to stay. The complimentary continental breakfast good and the rooms were very clean The staff are young and so friendly yet efficient. When we needed the shuttle it was there to take us to the casino and all we had to do to return to the hotel was call and they were there to pick up back up in a matter of minutes. There was a cockroach that crawled across the pillow in the bed when we turned down the comforter! The carpet was disgusting. We did stay in one of the "pet friendly" rooms, so maybe the other rooms were nicer?? Also, if you are looking for pet friendly, there is nowhere to walk your pets!

Very disappointed that the carpet in room was ripped, The furniture falling apart. The tub paint was peeling off and the tile was black surrounding the tub. Have stayed at this hotel before and was well pleased with our room. Will not stay here again unless upgrades are done to the rooms.

Good, fairly clean hotel. Stayed 1 night just to go to the casino, so it was a clean place to lay your head for a few hours. Decent breakfast, hot waffles, good selection of food. It says across from casino, yea if u count the mile long parking lot as the casino, but they do offer a shuttle every hour until 3am, which is nice. We chose to walk everytime, […] though, because we didn't want to wait. It takes a good 10-15 minutes to walk, but its easy, and there are sidewalks. The only issue was checking in, the AGM was extremely nice, but could not find my reservation, thank goodness for confirmation numbers/emails. So it took 20 minutes, but was resolved with no further issues. Would stay again, if I go back to cherokee, but the machines me and my 3 friends played hardly ever paid out, and if so it wasn't even enough to break even with what money you stuck in there. And yes I know a casino is designed that way, but at least pay a little more and people will stay and play longer. Read more
