The hotel is old. The beds were awful and the cobwebs and old popcorn showed it wasn't the cleanest. Location was good. Would not stay there again.

The room was comfortable. Bathroom a little small - counter space tiny. Good location and plenty of parking. The restaurant next door served excellent breakfasts. There was a slight chloroxy odor in the room and corridor. Not overpowering. The price was less than some other facilities in the immediate area.

Condition of the room needs major work, a lot of holes and cracks. Walls were paper thin, could hear conversation of guests in both room on either side of me.

We stayed a night during this past April Vacation, we're from Boston and after the bombings needed a change of scenery so booked last minute. The location is ideal for the aquarium and Old Mystic. The hotel itself needs a bit of updating. We had electrical problems in the room (outlets not working) and the TV reception went in and out. The room was outdated, and the sheets and furniture looked old. There was rust and mold in the bathroom. I did not like that after checking in to our room, someone tried to come inside. Apparently, the front desk assigned the room to another couple. I'm glad we locked the door!

Have stayed in several hotels in the Mystic area. This one is just as good as residence inn, holiday inn and hyatt, yet half the price! Great value for the money. The kids loved the pool and the jet tub, and the in room fridge and microwave make life much easier when travelling with little little ones.

It was better than I thought it could be. My room was ready at 12:30 and the let me in. Kind of old smelling in the hallways and the decor is very dated but there was a small balcony, a huge jetted (didn't work) tub. Not a huge deal. Beds very comfortable. The front desk in the morning offered coffee and smiles! The woman there took time to talk about the sights around mystic with my children. You could tell she loves her job! The pool was fun for the winter but the rooms are in desperate need of an update.

This hotel is close to everything. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Bathroom was clean and towels are a decent size , soft and fluffy. If your a light sleeper the heating/cooling system is noisy, cycles on and off continuously. The pool area was clean and well stocked with towels. The check in is way to late, we were told check in is not til 4pm. So we had to find something to do, until they could get the room ready. On top of that the check out was at noon, so you didn't even get to enjoy a full day. Made for a not so great anniversary stay.

Can't beat the price. Nice hotel, a little outdated as far as decor, but nice and comfy just the same. Have stayed at this hotel several times and would come again. Especailly LOVE the jetted bath tub. It's huge and such a nice added bonus. I would stay with my children as well as my friends.

We stayed there two years ago and had a great experience, however this year the beds were very uncomfortable, there were holes in the curtains and you could see the falling tiles from behind the tub enclosure, very dissappointed.

We only stayed overnight to attend an event at Foxwoods -- we found this very convenient to the location and the "price was right"! We had planned to spend some time again touring Mystic but unfortunately was too cold and stormy so we headed home. We definitely will consider your hotel if we come to Mystic again.

I happened to stay at this hotel during a winter storm with 3 children. The power went out at 8pm and never came back on. The hotel had no extra blankets, so by the time we woke up in the morning, we were all frozen.

1st room was non smoking but smelled of smoke so they moved us to another room which was great but instead of 2 queens it had 1 king so we needed a rollaway & crib. Then they moved us to a suite the next night because of the inconvenience but we should have stayed put. Overall a great stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially Jason at the front desk and Terry the manager. Only concern was the inconsistency of the heater. Temperature was quite hard to regulate so were either roasting or chilly.

A great place for families wanting to do Mystic on a reasonable budget. My grandkids love the pool, plus the jetted tub in the room! Very close to the Aquarium and all the sights.
