The spacious rooms are marvelous, the location of the hotel is well situated in the core of Montreal. You can walk to various events. The garage parking is less to be desired and the unattended at night time parking is also a pain. The heat regulation in some rooms are also indesirable.

Two lamps weren't working, including a desk lamp -- awkward when I wanted to do a bit of work there. On the other hand the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, they really provided great service.

"Great Downtown Location"
Excellent location for anyone who wants to stay near the downtown core. Close to a metro station which makes travel easy. Clean room with spacious bathroom, but a bit outdated. TV had to be pulled out and turned to watch, but worked fine.

The Omni is a very nice hotel. The entry has an stunning flower arrangement. The rooms need an updating which I was told was going to happen shortly. We had two rooms which adjoined. The hotel was very nice but the room we were assigned was long past time for renovations. The carpet was so thread-bare that it was wrinkled and bunched up. Service was excellent during week, but was sorely lacking on the weekends.

"Big room with a sitting area"
I enjoyed my stay at the Omni. I have a very nice bit room with a sitting area. The hotel has a nice pool, sauna and spa. Location of the hotel is perfect if you want to enjoy downtown Montreal.

It should not be classified as a 4 star hotel anymore, perhaps in the past it was but now it is run down; wallpaper peeling, furniture is well worn, carpet is faded and very much outdated! my son and I stayed at the Omni Mont Royal for a night and enjoyed exceptional service. The hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable - including delivering cookies and milk to my son as a treat by room service!. The front desk manager Kas was most helpful. "Broken fridge door & frozen bottles"
The fridge door was broken upon arrival and the fridge was useless. I called to complain and it was repaired quickly while we were out to the Rogers Cup. Otherwise the room was well furnished and very clean. TV is getting old though with no in-room movie previews. We asked the front desk to freeze our water bottles so we could take them the next day […] to the tennis tournament as it is very hot to spend the whole day there in the sun with little or no shade. 2 adults and very tall 15 year old stayed in 1 king room. Size of room was excelent, even with a roll away bed the room was big enough for us all. Great helpful staff especially concierge. Right next to metro and bixi bikes so easy to get to all locations though in the evening the bixi stand was empty.. I booked a short trip with my daughter to explore Montreal. The staff from front desk to concierge and maid service were all very helpful and friendly. My young daughter thinks everyone in Montreal is so nice based on our omni stay. Would book there again and the spa is great also. We walked and took the metro with great ease.

We always stay at the Omni. Close to everything, Fabulous staff, great rates through Hotels.com. Super comfortable and quite. Valet parking is quick. Concierge books reservations, calls stores for you, gets show tickets if possible... awesome. I would recommend to all.

We stayed in a King size deluxe room, that was very comfortable. My only complaint is that we were in a corner room and the corner window covering was california shutters that did not block out the morning sun.

"Fantastic - wouldn't stay anywhere else"
Let me start off by saying that I've done a lot of traveling, I have traveled all over Europe and North America and have stayed in a lot of bed & breakfast, guest houses and hotels, some have been dumps and some have been amazing, the Omni was one of the best. Our trip started off a little rough, when we arrived at the hotel the manager did all he […] could to help us out even though our frustrations had nothing to do with the hotel, he gave us a complimentary plate of cheese just to brighten our day. From there we had a great experience, it close to everything, I had rented a car but to my surprise we didn’t need it; the metro took us everywhere we couldn’t walk. Seriously, we went to La Rhonde, the Olympic Stadium, everywhere, it was an amazing experience. The hotel was clean (I was worried about “bed bugs”, none); the people were friendly, helpful and genuine. When I go back to Montreal I will stay there, and nowhere else, it was one of the nicest places I have had the pleasure of staying, worth every penny, if you go to Montreal, make this your first choice, cheers!! I had a fantastic time in Montreal staying at the Omni. It was the perfect central location and just a walk away from everything. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and always more than willing to speak to me about where to go and what to do. I will definitely be booking in at the Omni my next stay.

Excellent hotel concierge and staff, and they provided us with a late check-out of 2:00pm without any extra fee, even though our room was already booked for that day. The hotel was well located, clean and they let us have a room, even though we were VERY early off a cruise ship. Despite bengat the junction of 2 busy roads, our room was very quiet. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it.
Liked the hotel and the location . . . close to McGill which suited me. Thought the breakfast buffet was over priced but aside from that, was very happy with my stay.

Hubby and I went April 30th for one night. The room was large and very clean. Although we are smokers, we did NOT smell anything, although I'm sure we were on a smoking floor (25th).
