There were 2 things that I did not like...1st was that I had to pay to access the internet on the hotel computer...2nd, I was told that breakfast would start at 6 AM and when I showed up downstairs at 6 I was told that it didn't start until 6:30. I could have slept for an extra 1/2 hour...:(

My stay started out somewhat disappointing as I was given a room other than the type I initially reserved. They were able to find me the room I wanted however the phone was not working and there was no toilet tissue in the restroom. The concierge was extremely helpful and apologetic. he got my room and tissue straightened out, but the phone remained broken. The breakfast provided was quite substantial and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, aside from a few minor details, I definitely will stay here again.

Staff very friendly and helpful, room overall clean and comfy. I noticed just as I was going to sleep there were two tiny dried blood spots on the duvet cover. Also no supper served in the hotel. Hair dryer very weak as well. For the cab drivers, u have to tell them it's the former 18th century hotel.

This hotel must have the best concierge in the world. She offered us a wonderful assortment of daily activities, arranged for jazz concerts for us in the evening and best of all she offered perfect advice and made bookings for the best tables for dinners. However, I can not hold her responsible for the 5 lbs I put on while visiting Montreal. The staff were frienndly and efficient Recepionist Bao was welcoming and I would specially recommend the Assistant manager on over hearing that I had booked your hotel as it had a pool , but not realising at the time of booking that it was an outside pool. We stayed one night in Omni Hotel in Montreal. The room was nice and clean, much better than we have expected. The services were also great and friendly. I strongly recommend this hotel for whoever visiting Montreal. For those who make frequent travel to Montreal, it may also a good idea to join their membership for some member benefits like free WIFI […] access, free morning beverage, and some discounts. For those who drive to Montreal, parking seems be a common problem to many hotels - lack of parking space. For Omni hotel, there is an underground parking a block away that will cost you CND$16/day. Excellent staff, good location just west of St. Catherine street. We enjoyed our stay. The only possible negatives was that the room looked a little worn -- one broken shutter on a window, one cupboard door was ill-fit, and the bath vanity marble looked a little worn. But everything worked and was very clean.

Great location. Rooms dated, TV's are old and poor quality. There was no comforter on bed, just sheets.
Great hotel, great location. Only complaint, just to be picky is the old TV being in an awkward place and the toilet paper impossible to reach in the bathroom. Very minor things...

Good location in the heart of downtown, close to McGill, shopping and many restaurants and bars. Its an older hotel that's been renovated. It use to be a 4 Seasons hotel and would have been state of the art 3o years ago...the rooms are nice and beds comfortable. The bathrooms are large but you can tell they are still a bit older - more original. But […] very clean. The lobby is ok and the hallways are a bit dingy but this is hardly a deal breaker. at the arrival I got my room at 6:30 pm....the hotel is in renovation, hot tub close, fire alarm checking very early in the morning ,we were sleeping they open the door.....Im not gone recommended.....
"Great Downtown Location"
Excellent location for anyone who wants to stay near the downtown core. Close to a metro station which makes travel easy. Clean room with spacious bathroom, but a bit outdated. TV had to be pulled out and turned to watch, but worked fine.

The Omni is a very nice hotel. The entry has an stunning flower arrangement. The rooms need an updating which I was told was going to happen shortly. We had two rooms which adjoined. The hotel was very nice but the room we were assigned was long past time for renovations. The carpet was so thread-bare that it was wrinkled and bunched up. Service was excellent during week, but was sorely lacking on the weekends.

"Big room with a sitting area"
I enjoyed my stay at the Omni. I have a very nice bit room with a sitting area. The hotel has a nice pool, sauna and spa. Location of the hotel is perfect if you want to enjoy downtown Montreal.

It should not be classified as a 4 star hotel anymore, perhaps in the past it was but now it is run down; wallpaper peeling, furniture is well worn, carpet is faded and very much outdated! Overall - pleased with the stay, but there is one catch... Everything, other then a basic stay, is extra - parking, breakfast... Typical Montreal though - every hotel will try to charge you extra for parking... my son and I stayed at the Omni Mont Royal for a night and enjoyed exceptional service. The hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable - including delivering cookies and milk to my son as a treat by room service!. The front desk manager Kas was most helpful. "Broken fridge door & frozen bottles"
The fridge door was broken upon arrival and the fridge was useless. I called to complain and it was repaired quickly while we were out to the Rogers Cup. Otherwise the room was well furnished and very clean. TV is getting old though with no in-room movie previews. We asked the front desk to freeze our water bottles so we could take them the next day […] to the tennis tournament as it is very hot to spend the whole day there in the sun with little or no shade. 2 adults and very tall 15 year old stayed in 1 king room. Size of room was excelent, even with a roll away bed the room was big enough for us all. Great helpful staff especially concierge. Right next to metro and bixi bikes so easy to get to all locations though in the evening the bixi stand was empty.. Parking was a little querky but the concierge […] told us the cheapest way to do it. The lot is next door and a 30 second walk away. Great angst free stay would go back again without hesitation. "Fun, friendly stay in Montreal style"
I booked a short trip with my daughter to explore Montreal. The staff from front desk to concierge and maid service were all very helpful and friendly. My young daughter thinks everyone in Montreal is so nice based on our omni stay. Would book there again and the spa is great also. We walked and took the metro with great ease.
