The rooms are beautiful and very efficiently lain out. You receive only 1 free coffee packet per week, and linens are changed weekly as well (though fresh exchange can be made at the front desk). Hotel just went thru a remodel, so everything in my room was new. though that caused some issues, as the refrigerator wasn't "on" & I placed some items in there, & then later realized I needed to turn the dial past "OFF". The Hotel was being remodeled (it had just reopened after being closed 3 weeks) so the first floor was underconstruction. My room was on the second floor and there was no noise from the construction going on. The room was newly remodeled and was very comfortable. If I am ever in the Salt Lake City area again I would stay here.

This is the hotel you want for overall value. Best price I could find, with better features then most others. The hotel is being remodled in areas but it was so quite and clean the only way I could tell was from the signs. The room was very clean, spacious and I loved the kitchen. The room looked better then the pictures too.

Excellent rooms. The hotel common areas were under renovation so the lobby, halls and elevators were not in the greatest condition, but the room itself was excellent and we didn't mind the construction. The room was extremely comfortable, plush bed, bathrooms were great. TV had a lot of channels. Airport shuttle worked great, even when I had to catch […] it at 4:15 in the morning. Super close to the airport, less than 5 minutes. I think it would be a great place to stay for a business trip for an extended period because of the kitchen, although you would probably want a rental car because it is by the airport and not near much else. Congratulations you are the first to stay in our newly renovated floor. New carpet fresh paint and furniture. The main water valve burst the 2nd day we were day so we woke up with no water available until late in the afternoon. I'm sure everyone in the hotel was blowing up the front desk about the water situation so the front desk guy was a bit short with me when I called about it. He couldn't give me a time when the water would be back on but said he's call […] me back when it would be up. This was about 10 AM when I first phoned them. Around 1:30 I called again to check the status but the front desk hung up my phone twice without answering it. I waited til 2pm to call again. Finally someone picked up and said the water should be back up in a few minutes. An hour passes and still no water. My boyfriend went downstairs and apparently, the maintenance guy forgot to turn on the water on our block of rooms. The front desk guy was apologetic and emailed hotels.com to refund our night. Aside from that fiasco, the rooms are nice and clean and just minutes away from downtown and even closer to the airport. I would stay here again. Read more

There was construction/remodeling going on at the hotel but it was barely noticeable. The staff was very attentive, if a bit rigid and abrupt; I booked 2 rooms & only one was ready when I arrived so the woman behind the desk brought the keys to the other room up as soon as it was ready. This hotel seems much more suited to traveling business people […] than just traveling people but we made good use of both the full sized fridge and the huge conference style table I really liked the the bed was actually in a separate private bedroom from the rest of the room, it made it feel less like a hotel room and more like a small apartment. I like this place. The price is very good if you prepay. Because its an extended stay there isn't daily housekeeping, but that doesn't bother me, and silly stuff like coffee costs extra. The location is great for access to the airport, downtown, and easy access to I-80 for the drive out to Miller Motorsports Park.

Great for staying if you are leaving from SLC buy plane and needing a place to stay if you are from out of town, Their shuttle starts at 4am so we can catch an early flight then leave our car at their hotel and return and stay there before heading back home. Room was great, it was a small "suite" with the bed in a separate room from the living area […] which was fully equipped with anything you would need for an extended stay. This was a clean and comfortable hotel. It lived up to the ratings I saw when I booked it. It is a place than can be rented by the day or the week, but was clean and nice, unlike some other weekly rental "suites" I have stayed at for 1 night. By the way, it is a room with a kitchen and a big chair, but not a suite in my book. I recommend.

Hotel was nice and clean and so was the room, but there was a stale smell in the room. I even wondered if it was a smoking room as I had requested non-smoking. Also the fridge was noisy and had a hard time sleeping because of the noise.

My husband and I just needed a place to stay that was close to the airport for an early morning flight. The price was great. If you just need a good clean place to spend the night this is perfect. I will use this motel in the future when we travel to SLC.

Stayed for a full week. Motel was quiet - never heard neighbors to the side or above or in the hall; no outside noise. Room was large; kitchen was very handy for cooking breakfast, heating up take out or left-overs. Comfortable bed. Nice work desk and decent WiFi. Might be a downside for some: housekeeping is weekly (doesn't bother me). Also, although located on North Temple, the Trax construction work is far enough away that you don't hear it - it does make for some slight inconvenience in terms of access. The hotel is tailored for extended stay with a full kitchen, dishes, etc. We were there only for one night to catch the flight early next morning. The location is super close to the airport and only 15 minutes (driving) away from downtown where you will find a lot of places to eat and get gas (for rental car). My stay @ Candlewood suites was very pleasant. I stayed in a queen studio suite and I loved having a fully functional kitchen. The dvd library was also a plus. But being from out of town one of the most helpful services was the express shuttle.

We were driving from WA to SC and this was our first stop. We ended up having car problems in OR and ran late into the night for our check in. They have this box after the office closes that ensures a very simple check in with your keys all ready to go. Made our half asleep check in very simple. The hotel was a little hard to find at night in the rain […] since our GPS was turning us in circles. It's kind of on a weird side street, which was under construction. The hotel staff was extremely helpful in giving us information about the options for places to check on car troubles since it was SLC on a Sunday. The room was clean and comfortable. After driving for 12 hours with a moving truck the Candlewood Suites was a welcome stop. We were not familiar with SLC and the area but it was easy to find via our map directions and since it was right near the airport. The room was very clean and even had a kitchen and refrigerator. Their internet was really fast. They have laundry, DVDs to rent for […] free, and a room stocked with food and drinks. I was worried about getting a meal since we were out by the airport but there is a really yummy Italian restaurant directly next door. Check in went smoothly. The hotel does not have a computer available to guests, so I could not check in for my early am flight. Checked in at 10:30 PM; left at 4:45 AM, so only stayed about 6 hours.
