I love it.
"They should call it the A...."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
For the price paid this hotel is totally worth the money. Free breakfast and no resort fees! Location right on fremont. Hotel staff were very nice compared to some higher priced hotels. Front desk was friendly at check in. Valet guys were nice. Breakfast was awesome. Room was a little dated and tired but for the rate paid it was clean, quiet and safe.
"Great Price, Poor Hotel Upkeep"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The room was a steal at the price, and it was right on the strip. Only complaints /i had were poor lobby lay-out (had to ask where the check in desk was) and poor room and elevator maintenance, the elevators shook so bad i thought we could plunge to the bottom at any moment.

Glittering, larger-than-life gambling palaces dominate Las Vegas Boulevard South, better known as The Strip. Here, hotels are destinations unto themselves. Within a three-mile stretch, visitors can see the New York City skyline, the Eiffel Tower, an Egyptian pyramid, imperial Rome, a dancing fountain, and an exploding volcano. A monorail links several hotels and the Las Vegas Convention Center.
see all hotels in Las Vegas"fine if hot shower isn't a priority"
Upon our arrival we noticed that our glasses/cups in the room had lip prints...yuck. Also, we were trying to get a shower in before dinner reservations and there was no hot water. The front desk lady said she'd send someone immediately. After 30 min. I called again asking if they could fit us into another room quick so we could shower. She said someone […] would be on their way. Since we didn't have the extra time, I asked again politely. She said they didn't do that. So, into the COLD shower we went. The pool and fitness area is great and the size of the room was wonderful. Read more
"My only issue"
My experience was outstanding with one exception. How do you justify charging $25 per night for towels etc. That is utterly ridiculous. Those accommodations should be part of every room, and if you are going to Rob people with those fees, at least have the decency to inform your customer up front.

"An Amazing Stay"
Everything in the room was impeccable. The service was efficient and courteous. I can't wait to go back.
"yes"
the venetian is a great hotel but I was shocked by the maid service. We werent given additional soap or shampoo for our stay a second night and the room wasnt cleaned that well. When we arrived I wasnt impressed with valet in regards to rating it to other hotels of the same. Valet again when we left told my boyfriend he had to drive around as I had […] not come out of the hotel , it might have been a total of 10 minutes. We have stayed at alot of top rated hotels and didnt have the wow factor this one should have had Read more

"Spa is the highlight"
The Venetian is over-the-top in decor, shopping, etc. What other hotel has a Grand Canal running through it? We spent one entire day at the Spa, enjoying the best massages then the sauna, steam room, hot tub, and environmental room (tropical rainstorm). The suite had a sunken living room with comfy sofa and TV. The only thing for improvement is lighting […] -- dim in toilet room, no dual controls for reading in bed. Read more

"Gorgeous Hotel"
The hotel is amazing. I was pleased with all aspects except the hotel staff which did not have the sense of urgency/desire to please.

"Venetian LV-AC"
The AC could have been working better, it was a little stuffy in the room even with the AC on. I can't imagine how the room would have been if it had been summertime in LV.
"an Oasis in the desert"
we had just spent 8 days travelling up and down Utah, Colorado, Arizona and got to see all the Parks and sights. We stayed at different hotels every night. The best part of the trip was our stay at the venetian. The mattress was just right. Perfect after some disasterous nights in hotels that use sleep number beds. The hotel is vast but easily learned. […] The staff were all very helpful. Food will suit all tastes it is very varied and of great quality. I will be staying here again but for a week next time. Read more

"Venitian - Change the Music"
If you like constantly hearing the music from Phantom of the Opera, you'll like riding the elevators or hanging around outside the Venetian. It was enough to convince us to NOT see the show (although we DID see two others). Room and service were both impeccable. Odds on video blackjack and poker not the best, but not the worst, either. Somewhat disorienting […] to navigate the casino floor and the Grand Canal Shoppes (a map is provided for the former). This was probably intentional, the more to mimic the Venice experience (if you've gone, you know what I'm talking about). We liked the venue enough that we'd stay again, although more likely will check out some other places at the Center Strip (hopefully with better odds). Hint: If you do a web search on "best casinos for video poker", you'll find someone has done some helpful research --- if that kinda thing is important to you.... Read more

"Best Standard Rooms in LV"
Nicest standard room I've stayed at anywhere. Almost as important, perfect location on the 'newer' end of the strip very near most of the best action. Don't worry about a view, you truly won't care. Ask for extra towels, 2 isn't enough. Use the packed minifridge to store your alcoholic drinks from the adjacent Walgreens, bur put everything exactly […] back and tell the front desk on checkout to avoid any fees. Have fun! Read more

"fun in vegas"
the venetian was everything we expected. the room was spacious and impeccably maintained. would stay there again.
"The Tax friendly venetian"
I loved this place; however, I was never notifies when checking out the room they charged an extra room tax. I thought it was already included when I reserved the room. I have spent at least 10 hotel nights each year and I was charged an extra room tax charge when checking out of the room.

"Venetian still stands tall!"
The Venetian is still the class of the strip. The Front Desk allowed an early check-in and put me on a high floor with a great view. The casino staff from the dealers, to the pit bosses and cocktail waitresses were all top notch. The place looks every bit as good as it did when it first opened!
