Just checked in late to get some sleep after a trip to town to visit family. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. The only negative, there was some sticky substance on the TV remote. I cleaned it, and everything else was fine. Nice and quiet, comfortable bed. The breakfast is above average.

Great customer service. The front desk people were very freindly and helpful, they are the bright point in a so-so hotel. The room was just ok. Even though it was clean, it felt dirty due to the carpet. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in. New mattress needed! Back ached for days.

I live in Cincinnati Ohio and I come to visit family in Owensboro usually 2 or 3 times a year. The last two times I stayed at Sleep Inn has been disappointing. Apparently there is a lot of children's athletic events that go on in Owensboro and there are children and or young people all over being loud and bothersome. This time most of the kids and families […] had returned home the day we arrived so it was not nearly as bad as last time but there were so many kids in the pool area and they were extremely loud. Young teenage girls were running in and out yelling and screaming. They were unattended. There was a group of younger boys yelling and throwing a football around the room [which was full of glass windows] They had a young lady "watching" them. I had my two granddaughters age 4 and 11 years old with me and even they could not stand the choas and noise level. I don't understand why they hotel allows this. Read more

Nice room in a new hotel. Wish the beds were queen size instead of full but otherwise very nice. A shower stall instead of a tub but fine with us. The pocket door was a little difficult to open at times. Breakfast with variety.

Just needed a room for a short night of sleep before flying out of the Owensboro airport so we arrived late in the evening and left early the next morning. Did not have time to check out the pool or surrounding ammenities/restaurants. Was conveniently located to the airport. This was the perfect place to stay for our family (we reserved 3 rooms). We travelled back to Owensboro for a family get-together and spent two nights at the Sleep Inn. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Our rooms came with a microwave and small refrigerator which was perfect for traveling with three toddlers. Very nice stay; however, I wished shower floor mat was offererred. Even with the non-skid surface of the shower floor, it is still slippery to someone like me with concerns over falling as I have had a broken ankle and foot.

Personally, this hotel was literally 10 minutes away from my grandmother's house, so that was a plus. Sometimes, the essentials make the stay. A good bed, decent internet, good TV, and a decent continental breakfast is about all I need for a standard trip. Of course, I'd want more for vacationing, but this was a one-night come-and-go stay and it was good. For one price, you get everything I mentioned above. My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our way back home from Holiday World. I was extremely pleased. The grounds were clean and maintained very well. We checked in after 9PM and was greeted by a friendly man behind the counter. He checked us in quickly . We arrived in our room. It was nicely cooled (the air conditioner had been turned on before our […] arrival). The room was clean and in great shape. No maintenance issues. Shower was clean and water pressure was perfect. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we slept well (for the most part). The only exception to that was a child staying a few doors down running up and down the hall being extremely loud at 8AM. This hotel has a hot breakfast in the morning as well which was great. Biscuits, sausage, and eggs to make a biscuit sandwich. Fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, muffins, french toast, coffee, tea, orange juice, milk, apple juice. As much as you want to eat. This hotel has a indoor pool and a whirlpool which were both great. We checked out quickly as well. This hotel is located about 45 minutes south of Holiday World so if you are looking for an afforable place to stay near there, this is a great place. All of the hotels around Holiday World were so much more expensive. I felt very comforable at this hotel. Read more

the hotel is in a great location as far as access to the interstate . It is located with no close by resturants they are at exit 14 about 5 miles up on the interstate but this hotel is quiet , clean and was a pleasure. the pool and the hot tub where great. The Sleep Inn is definitely a step back from the Marriott or Hilton, but it met our needs at a good, economical price. Everything was basically fine. The room was fine, the bed was fine, the service was fine. I like the shower only, but my wife wanted a tub. We are used to thermostat controls instead of the "blower" by the window. We came to Owensboro for a funeral, and Sleep Inn made our stay easy. After all the hectic travel from Baltimore and transporting the body, it was nice to come into a very friendly staff (they let us make free copies of our program), and an exceptionally clean room. If I could complain about anything, it would be that the bathroom was the size of a […] walk in closet, and the beds were a bit hard. But the main thing for me is that everything was very clean (and I'm OCD about things being clean). The continental breakfast was on par with other places I've stayed.
