Convenience to freeway is excellent, hotel is nice and clean, and there are restaurants nearby. We were just disappointed by the "continental breakfast." There really wasn't much to pick from.

The room was clean, the service was great, and they had no problem with the fact that I had my dog with me. The refrigerator had been turned on, so it was already cold, which was nice. The A/C worked very well, and not too noisy, either. They had a nice selection of channels on the t.v. The coffee was fresh in the morning, too.

This place of extremely dirty. Didn't want to even sit on the chairs. The floor was filthy. The bathroom was very unclean. Got in very late with a very tired 10 year old or we would have left!

Truckers and hookers as well as a few of the National Park crowd. I was surprised to find the neighborhood to be conveniently off the highway but nothing else is near except a Denny's and gas station. It is the low end but I think you can do better in the category.

We had police activity for about 3 hrs, I taught they were going to check in. LOL Found out later it's not the part of Fresno. But that's where the Expo members decided to stay because it close to the fairgrounds.

Rooms look ok initially but when you look closer you notice things are not so clean. Pillows were stained yellow, the bed sags, the carpet is dirty, etc. The wifi was just awful. When I connected, there was no Internet access. After 1am, I was able to sporadic access but it would constantly drop. After 2hrs of frustration, I walked across to Dennys […] and got some work done. It was a great truck stop hotel. The rooms were semi clean, the beds and sheets need to be burned. It's a great hotel for the truck drivers. There was a lot of vagrants roaming around, which was surprising since they supposedly had security.

We've stayed here before, but it's been awhile. We reserved a king-lower level, near Handicap parking. We checked in at 3pm. The room was a dble, with swayback bed, and very small. I asked "what happened to our king bed?" Answer: those rooms are on opposite side of bldg, no handicap stalls there. Changed room for king bed. When we had unloaded our car, […] we discovered the security deadbolt was completely missing. At first we were told there were no other king rooms available on lower floor. After telling the clerk that neither of us could climb the stairs, she did find us a king room, mysteriously. There was no refrig. The carpet was filthy, the sink faucet would not turn off, the electric plugs would not hold the plugs in the sockets, the bedspread was faded, old, and worn. Continental bkfst was a joke. They need security on parking lot. Lots of homeless wandering through day & nite. Next time we'll stay at Days Inn. Read more

I requested a non smoking room.... got a smoking room that stunk badly. Got that changed, and the new room did not have a coffee maker, the TV remote was so old that the buttons were blank and tape as the battery cover. The desk chair in the room was not comfortable. the heater control was confusing and I was cold the first night. What good is HD channels […] when the TV is not HD? The choices on the continial breakfast was quite poor. My room key would not work on the second night as the attendant only programed it for one night, so I had to go bak down the stairs and walk to the office to get that fixed at 10 PM in the cold. This is not the hotels fault, but I was awakened by the garbage truck very early on the second morning. Read more

Things seem to be in order except for the TV in my room which did not work. I only stayed in this hotel one night before I moved on so it did not bother me. All I wanted was a quiet place to sleep and I got it.

Was expecting a 3 plus rated motel and found it to be only a low 2. Their breakfast was worst then the rest of the ones we have stayed at. Juice, very small apples, and small choice of pasties. Add some cereal, bananas and milk and this would be a lot better. We stayed on the side away from freeway to limit the road noise and that worked. I had business in Fresno, and I wanted to see some acquaintances. I don't know Fresno. I booked a hotel in the worst part of Fresno. It's a truck stop, with truck engines running all night. The room was old, cigarette burns everywhere. The noise of the highway. Tip look at the area, the rooms before you book..this was a disappointment.

Vagabond Inn in Fresno is a good place to spend the night. There is nothing wrong, but nothing really good either. Staff is friendly, everything works and it's close to the highway / freeway. But the tiny pool, empty parking lot, and depressing surroundings make it mediocre in total.

We were stuck at Sequoia NP in the dark and took the first hotel that came up. This is a motel, small room, no elevators. Lori waited up for us, which was very kind and Sue tried to get us a new hairdryer since the one in the room did not work, but was unsuccessful unfortunately. The included breakfast was basically muffins and pastry. Dennys next door. […] Wifi ok, + for fridge. I don't know if the bed side lamps did not work or if I shouldve tried some other way of pulling, turning and nudging the button. A bit noisy from the trailers driving past (at least the ones that were honking for some reason). I wouldn't stay here again but that doesn't mean they don't try to accomodate. 1. When we booked the room reservations over the phone, we specifically asked for a dog friendly room. When we arrived to the hotel, we were told that you did not reserve a room that allowed dogs. It's one of the better hotels next to hwy 99, Fresno. It's great to get a quick night sleep and keep on going. Several fast food places to choose, as the continental breakfast is simply a coffee, bread from a wrapper and an apple. Internet is fast and located right of 99. Good for single traverler or group.
